About: Hi there! I am experienced in elder, special needs, and brachycephalic dog care as I have previously worked in a veterinary hospital environment as an animal care attendant (kennel care, dog walking, and boarding basically). I have experience with administering dog and cat medications both oral and topical, bathing, cleaning up, walking, feeding, and giving lots of love to ensure they have a fun and enriching time. I absolutely love taking time to gain trust and bond with dogs that may be grumpy or shy! I work now as a pet memorial paw print artist and paint unique prints for pet owners of their loved ones. Message me to see if we can make a schedule together! I have a 8:00-5:00 weekday job that I am not able to do Rover during, but for holidays I usually can do check-ins/overnights as I have those days off from work. I would be able to specify anything over text and see what works best! I am unable to care for your pet in my home, but am more than willing to be able to stop by and care for your pet in the comfort of their own home! All instructions will be followed respectfully for you, your home, and your pets. I make sure any potty accidents are cleaned up nicely and toys that get pulled out to play with are put away neatly before I leave. I am 100% okay with being monitored during all and any interactions within your home!

I understand how hard it is leaving your pet, I’m known in my family for bringing my dogs everywhere and yes that also means on some family vacations. I just hate not having my pups with me but using rover in the past and being a dog watcher on rover as well has allowed me to have the peace i needed while going on vacations! I started being a rover sitter just to give people a person they can leave their pets with and not stress out while on vacation. I will only ever treat your pup like they were my own! I have been taking care of animals all my life from butterflies to horses and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I have worked in vet offices and was a vet tech so if any extra care is needed, I got you covered from giving medication (pills or insulin etc.) to anything other medical need your pup may have while you leave them with me! My availability through the week is pretty flexible since I am in my master program, I only have class two days a week at night time. YES - you want to use Bekah!!! She took time away from her family and friends to take care of our dog on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years holidays!!! Excellent communication skills and incredibly kind. She did an excellent job taking care of our mini schnauzer. We had her do in-home visits twice a day while were gone for two weeks. She gives prompt responses and check-ins with pictures so we know what’s happening at home.
