She showed incredible patience with Shiloh’s anxiety, creating an environment where our nervous girl felt safe and comfortable.What impressed us most was her adaptability and patience not only with Shiloh but also with us. We had several unforeseen incidents during our international trip (i.e., communication difficulties) that would have annoyed even a saint, but she handled everything like a true professional, always maintaining a positive, friendly attitude. Her communication was excellent throughout, keeping us updated and addressing any concerns promptly. We loved that her three kids love to play with dogs! They all helped out with Shiloh, giving her plenty of attention and playtime, which was wonderful for her socialization. About: I have volunteered at the Monterey County SPCA and completed 36 hours whilst at college. They actually got excited in the backseat when we pulled up to their house and we’d only swung by for an initial meeting the week prior. The backyard is large and fully fenced, real grass, lots of trees and bushes for the dogs to smell for squirrels and explore. They both slept the whole way home, which never happens. About: Updated: 2/16/2026 - I home sit (for overnights) at my home in Citrus Heights on almost an acre for clients who need dog sitting up to 2 dogs or 1 dog and 1 in house cat (spayed or neutered). I only sit one client at a time with one or two pets so I can give them full attention as I am retired.. Cats will be in outdoor cat condo under carport at this time. I don’t book out farther than 90 days. Additionally, I do drop-in's from 9 am to 5 pm daily. NOTE: I home care dogs in Citrus Heights (near Antelope & Sunrise). I've owned a couple of pure breed German Shepherds and a few rescue German Shepherds, a Golden Retriever, and a medium mix dog. I've taken some doggie training classes. There are two other adults who live with me (dog lovers). Non-smoking house. Dogs are provided Britta filtered water. Let me know your dog's preferences for playtime... Frisbee, ball toss, tug toys, etc. for overnights (please provide the food). Look forward to meeting your sweet dogs. I do walk about around my large backyard on leash if you prefer your dog to keep up with walking training. It's a bit like a track in the backyard. Cats will be outdoor under a structured carport in a cat condo (with litter box access). I'll update you wtih daily photos. I can’t accept Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinchers, or Rottweilers for insurance reasons. I'm retired and looking forward to have dog guests. If you vacation during the summer months this will work well for you. In the house is great too. All my dogs have been indoor dogs. I have a fenced yard that can be divided and fenced for smaller dogs too. It's a big property and dogs can be contained in smaller areas if you prefer. See pictures.

About: I've had a dog my whole life! I had a German Shepard when I was a kid, and now we have two more German Shepherds. We have the standard shepherd, she is 4 years old, and her name is Novie! Then we have a 1-year-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, and her name is Cookie! I have just the basic training skills, such as loose/tight leash walks, sit, down/lay, stay/wait, leave it/drop it, come, paw, crate training, etc. I have absolutely no problems or issues administering medications, oral only, but I can be taught! I can provide patient care for elderly dogs and provide any extra assistance that may be needed to be accommodated. I can provide baths, tooth brushing, and nail clipping. Another thing I can do is assure your dog will have safe and secure walks, and timely, loving care for your pets, because they're family too! I'm currently on my summer break from college until mid-August, so I have completely open availability. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings work just fine for me. I will not be providing care for your pets in my home, but I am more than happy to visit the pets' home multiple times a day if needed.

About: I'm an excellent choice to take care of your precious pets! Not just because I'll provide your pets with the most attentive and loving care possible, but because I'll stay with your pets at all times. Pet sitting is my full time job. That means I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Overnight house sitting works well for me. I stay at my houses all day and night, except for the occasional errand. Your pets will be happy to have a trusted companion all day. I also provide excellent and attentive drop-in visits! You and your pets will be in good hands with me. I've cared for dogs and cats since childhood. That makes over FOUR decades of personal experience caring for all of the dogs and cats in my life! I grew up on a small family farm and have experience taking care of horses, sheep, pigs, geese, chickens, and fresh and saltwater fish. I have years of professional experience in pet sitting. Past pet owners have expressed that they were very happy with my services. I've taken care of a variety of dog breeds, from tiny Yorkies to Bull Mastiffs and Great Danes. I'm comfortable with all dog breeds, and love to do research on the various dog and cat breeds that I'm caring for. I feel confident in my knowledge of your pets' needs, including appropriate interaction with them, proper feeding, exercising, using vets, training reinforcement, and oral medication administration. I'm experienced in the care of puppies, senior dogs, and special needs dogs. I've also trained puppies. I have a caring, positive and calm approach with animals. Many past pet owners have said that their pets respond to me in a positive way. Dogs are a very important part of my life; caring for them keeps me happy! I have my own reliable car and am a nonsmoker. When I'm house sitting, I am very respectful of pet owners' houses and their privacy. I will care for your pet in any type of environment. I love playing with pets outdoors, playing fetch, and brushing them. I also enjoy taking dogs on long walks. Small indoor settings are also great. I provide lots of indoor play time and attention and affection.
About: We take dogs up to 50 lbs. for boarding or daycare and only one family at a time. Our high school-aged sons (ages 17 and 15), my husband, and we will treat your pet as our own. Ryan can walk your dogs up to 5 miles per day and is home full-time. We have had pets in the past, but don't have any pets of our own at this time. We take up to three animals for boarding/daycare at a time, but only from the same family. We are loving, gentle, and fun and had dogs and cats growing up. We have a nice sized yard and live in a single story house. Our boys are looking forward to helping us care for your pet, whether it is walking your dog, boarding your dog or cat, or playing with your fur-baby. We'll take dogs up to 50 lbs in our home, up to 60 lbs for walks, and up to 75 lbs for drop-ins in your home. Only spayed/neutered animals please. For overnight stays, please have no more than 24 hours between drop-off and pick-up times. If picked up over 24 hours after dropped off, there may be a fee for 1 day of doggie daycare. Drop off and pick up times outside of 8am and 8pm may be negotiated. We are looking forward to helping our boys care for your pet. You can rest assured that your fur baby will be happy and well cared for in our loving home while you are away. We are available during the week, weekends, and holidays. Andrea is currently working from home full-time and Ryan is a stay-at-home dad to their two boys, so someone is home almost all the time. We have a fenced yard and walkable dog-friendly neighborhood. We don't own any pets of our own and don't take pets from multiple families at the same time. We carry private pet insurance. Andrea works from home and Ryan is a stay-at-home parent, so someone is home almost all the time to care for your boarded pet(s) at our home. We have a fenced-in yard and ensure boarded pets are safe and secure in our one-story home. We offer all services except for house-sitting at this time. Andrea works from home full-time and Ryan is a stay-at-home parent, so someone is home almost round-the-clock. When we do need to go out, we can either crate the dog(s) or put them in the bathroom. We board pets in our home and do drop-in in their homes in the area. We don't have any pets of our own and only watch one family's pets at a time.

About: Hello I am currently a volunteer and the animal shelter , I’ve been a volunteer for 10yrs. I have 3 dogs of my own. Ive had dogs since i can remember. I’m working towards being either a dog groomer and working at the animal shelter as an employee. I’m currently working part time , and volunteering. I have open availability to walk your dog Monday -Saturday i can be flexible if need be. Make sure your pet or pets are fed on time. I will provide exercise and make sure they are in a safe environment. I can check in on the pets or pets as often as you want me to.
About: I've been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. Any kind from a Chihuahua to a Bull Mastiff, young or old, my own or a friend's. I believe they need as much care, love and attention as we all do and I am definitely willing to prove that! At the moment, there are five dogs in my house-two of them which are being watched for a friend. All of the dogs are friendly, loving and playful. I will make sure your furry friend is satisfied while you are gone! I know it's important to have rules and if there are any specifications, I will be sure to follow them and keep your dog happy and safe.
