My work week is Monday to Friday with regular 8 hour work days. Weekends I am free to stay or check on animals more frequently.

When I go to someone home that I am taking care of a pet I always make sure I understand the normal behavior for the pet. I want to know what their diet looks like, their energy levels and what their regular routines look like. Every pet is different and requires different needs. I always make sure to request information like emergency vet numbers and if you are somewhere you cannot be reached who is the next point of contact. I want to make sure all animals are happy and safe!

Please let me know your dogs favorite toys, if there are any dietary restrictions, do they take medication. I always request emergency numbers to be written down prior to providing care for vets and anyone who you want me to call or you are not available.
A typical day
I love to give dogs treats for helping with good behavior. Like sitting, learning to shake, lay down, etc. I love playing fetch if there is a backyard area. I love brushing a good doggo to help with hair.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with bigger dogs as well as taken care of all types of breeds. I began watching dogs when I was a nanny back in 2016. The family I worked for had two large dogs that I would feed, watch while they were on vacation, and walk/ play with them. I also have been around people who have trained dogs for dog shows and have minimal knowledge of that as well. I am also a cat lover and have one of my own. I’m a responsible mom who will make sure your furry babies are cared for while you are away.
