About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life, and I am a very attentive and patient care giver. Any pet staying with me will get lots of attention and love. I will ensure timely feedings, plenty of fresh water, and lots of safety and love. I have a recently remodeled fenced in back yard, that backs up to a beautiful, shaded nature walk on the edge of a wetlands nature preserve. Nicole was very patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. I had a previous boarding experience that did not go so well because the dogs in the home barked at mine the entire time he was there (days). With that information, Nicole introduced her dogs to mine one at a time. My dog spent several hours at her home and got along so well with her fur babies. It was like a great play date! I am happy to have her as a resource should I need to board my pup.”
About: I have had and loved animals since I was a kid, and even more so as a responsible adult. We have a loud, rambunctious 3 year old hound/border collie mix in our home who loves other dogs and loves to play. (Hounds tend to be the most mouthy breed, and Cooper doesnt disappoint). Hes quite submissive, so he pairs well with most pups. We frequent the dog park, so we have many puppy friend. Consistency is so important for the behavior and health of your dog, so I will happily accommodate your pooches needs to their benefit. I've learned with the way our guests tend to happily (and safely) play with Cooper, that while in my care sometimes there isn't enough energy left for our routine walks. If walks are part of a training regime, please let me know so I can ensure the walks still take place. I do require a meet and greet prior to every booking. This ensures there is a good fit in personalities of pups and myself as your pup's caregiver. I apologize, but because I work from home, I cannot take in habitual barkers, or dogs who are not crate trained. About: I have been known as an animal whisperer because I am good with animals. For example, my friend's pet macaw hates people but became fond of me over time, I'm one of the only few people that she's fine with. I always seem to make animals calm and feel safe. Working with animals makes me feel good. Whenever my grandma needs someone to take care of her dog, she knows she can always rely on me; I brush her, feed her, bathe her and even trim her feet. Keep in mind for new clients: I would prefer at least a week notice so we can have a meet and greet beforehand if you can help it with your schedule. I'm currently working part-time which gives me plenty of time to take care of any animal/animals you may have! I'm most available on weekends, but also if needed, I can stay overnight. On weekdays, currently, I'm available most of the time anytime on Monday-Friday or overnight, just text me and ask me. At home, I used to have two dogs. I feed them in the morning, walk them, play with them, clean after them, and give them love. With others' pets, I would treat them as if they were my pets; however, I make sure that any door or window is secured so they can't escape out of the house and make sure they're comfortable.

Immediate check-ins with you if anything unexpected happens — an injury, an unusual reaction, anything out of the ordinary — rather than waiting until the visit is over. Building Trust: For every new pet, I take the first visit slow: letting them approach me on their own terms, learning their specific cues (what makes them anxious, what makes them relax), and following any introduction routine you'd like. About: I grew up on a ranch in Oklahoma, lots of animals around. I have volunteered at Placer SPCA in the past. And I currently work at a veterinary office! I have a part time job right now. About: I've had dogs in my home since I was 10, ranging from newborns to ten years old, so I do have enough experience in walking, bathing, giving them medicine if they request. Until December 16, I am available from Thursday to Sunday, anytime. Currently, I do walk two dogs every day around noon. I have helped train one of these two dogs to obey commands after they have attended obedience school, and given them antibiotics as prescribed. I have stayed at the owner's home for the weekend while they were on vacation, so I took care of these dogs and carefully followed the owner's instructions. I can't whistle, unfortunately so if your dog listens to whistles, that dog may not be the one for me. I’m currently free for the summer! I go on runs twice a week, I love getting my steps in and I enjoy spending time with furry friends! I currently live in a cozy cottage in a gated apartment complex with my boyfriend.
