About: Hi! I have always loved animals, growing up with many cats, dogs, chickens, fish, birds, etc. Right now I have a cat, Luna, who we love dearly! We are not quite ready to fully pause travel and commit full time to a dog at home, so I am looking forward to enjoying some dog time via Rover! I am available all day on weekends, and after 5pm on week days. My Sat/Sun availability will vary based on my schedule, but I would love to take walks on my open weekends! I plan to ask pet preferences and communicate with the owner prior to our first walk. I am in tune with what a dog’s mood and what they may be communicating during our walk. I hope they enjoy the walk and my company during our time together.

About: I recently moved back here after having spent the last 5 years in Los Angeles. I was emotionally & mentally exhausted from working a 9-5 within such a large city. I missed my animals, the sound of nature & the outdoors. I would love to care for your pets as they enrich my life so much, and I would love to enrich theirs! A LITTLE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE: Animals have been apart of my life since I could remember: I grew up on a farm! 9 acres of land, filled with horses, chickens, cats, dogs, rats & a free roaming tortoise! The main animal I was surrounded by was cats. We had anywhere from 6-13 at a time! This was mainly due to the litter of kittens my mom, sister & I would foster for months at a time. Our primary focus was bottle baby kittens. I always say, I am a dog mom, but a cat person! Both are extremely near and dear to my heart. I’m also very athletic, so if you have a high energy dog, I don’t mind taking them for a run, dog park, hike etc. MY PETS: My dog’s name is Saint & he is my entire world. I adopted him from a rescue in Riverside, CA only a year and a half ago. He was an aggressive, scared dog who needed constant love and patience to gain his trust. Now, he is an energetic, loving, hilarious boy! Our favorite activities were hikes & playing fetch. Fun fact: he looks identical to 🐕 Saint has taught me how to care for temperamental dogs through positive reassurance as well as the importance of a dynamic, safe environment. MY SPECIALTIES: Senior dogs Energetic dogs Bottle baby kittens Senior cats Medication Live in Sacramento, work in Folsom. Weekends are open to sitting anywhere from Sac up to Placerville and beyond! Weekdays are reserved for early morning walks, late night check-ins around the area OR for those who need mid-day pet care based in Folsom! I am dynamic all around!! I live in an apartment that is open with high ceilings. I have no pets (Saint lives with my parents), smoke & child free as well! More than happy to snuggle & allow pets on furniture. I live in a safe neighbor with a lot of great space to walk.

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up on a farm in Oregon my family bred, and I showed, Newfoundlands so my experience with pets is pretty vast. I'm newly retired from my job as a magazine publisher, I have a super flexible schedule. I love animals and have often needed pet sitters so I know it can be a challenge to find someone trustworthy. Since I coached (Track) for 30+ years I've been background checked, fingerprinted and bonded by several institutions including USATF and the Folsom-Cordova School District. I am First Aid and Safe Sport compliant. I prefer to watch pets at a client's Folsom (or nearby) home as I have two dogs of my own to care for. If a dog is great with other dogs, they may be welcome to come to my house; I have a fully fenced backyard and would be present 100% of the time.

About: I have had at least 3 pets my entire life, and that was at my parents' house. I have pet-sat for numerous friends and family members. I have cared for dogs ranging from puppies to senior cuties! I currently have 1 cat at my mom's, 2 dogs, and a cat at my dad's. I am very comfortable with animals, and I am always making sure that they are being taken care of and are having a fun time! I am currently working part-time, usually closing shifts, which are normally 5-9 pm. So I have plenty of time to play with your pets:) I have grown up with pets my whole life, and I am committed to providing a safe and fun environment. My number one concern is your pets:)

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs at one time for many years. I get asked all the time if I am a professional dog walker or whisperer! Currently I have two labrador retrievers and one german shepard. I live and love to keep them active whether it be a walk, frisbee throw at park, tug a war in backyard or a pack walk at the lake. Many days you will see me with my 4th dog ( Grand dog). Large dogs are my calling but I love on all sizes! I am currently working a part time flexible schedule and have the ability to be available to check in on your loved ones and/ or take for a walk! Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule to ensure I have dedicated time for dog walks and drop in visits each day. I keep my schedule organized to ensure every pet receives reliable, on time care and individual attention. When I provide drop in visits, I focus on following each pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure in their own home. During each visit, I make sure they have fresh water, feed them according to the owner's instructions, provide potty breatks or litter box cleaning as needed and spend quality time with them through play, exercise and companionship. I also administer medications if requested and I'm comfortable doing so. I do send updates with photos after each visit so owner's know their pet is happy, safe and well cared for.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. Throughout high school and college, I regularly dog- and cat-sat for friends, neighbors, and friends of friends, caring for pets with a variety of personalities, ages, and routines. About: Your pup will love the fact that he/she can run and play and get one on one attention. I love to take care of pets and know just how to make your pets day fun and stimulating so when they come home they can be the warm fuzzy friend you love! I am a stay at home mom so I have open availability. Did I mention I take hikes?!? Yep that's right folks...a dog sitter that will actually take your fur baby on an adventure when you're at work! I personally have been training pups since I was 15 years old, so that will be a part of the daily activities. If your fur baby has special needs that is fine too! My mom and I have been involved with Muttville for years! Pittbull and other (“aggressive”) breeds 110% welcome!! I use that term EXTREMELY LOOSELY! I will host any breed of dog, I do not believe it is the dogs breeding that causes aggression or biting. Most times it is just inexperience on the humans part or fear on the dogs part. Feel confident bringing your pup to stay with me, I monitor all activity and continue to reinforce your training expectations while you’re away.

About: I have over fourteen years of experience taking care of dogs. I love getting to know each dog and having a good time especially on a river walk. I work full-time. 2 days in office, 3 days from home. The days I work in office, I drive home during lunch to provide potty breaks. I make sure each dog is comfortable. I have several dog bed locations throughout the apartment upstairs and downstairs and several water bowls. I have a dog crate for those that have crate trained dogs. Most pet owners bring a blanket or something else for the dog to lay on. The dogs have access to a large living room and the entire bottom floor.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Whether those were dogs in my family, or a dog of my own. I have experience with dog walking and pet sitting dogs in my neighborhood as well! I am detail-oriented so I make sure to follow owner instructions and pay attention to animal behavior. I’m currently a student-athlete and have some extra time on the weekends to take care of dogs! I love animals (sometimes more than people) and I would love to use my free time to look after animals and provide my services. I have a dog at home who I pay close attention to so that he doesn’t eat anything, break anything, and I make sure he gets attention! Like my own dog, I treat other dogs with the same care and love.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My dad was a dog trainer, although I am not super specialized or advanced in my training techniques - I firmly believing in training, queues, patience and love rather than control. I will care for your babies like they are my own. I have experience dealing with shy/anxious pets to friendly/high energy. I make an effort to go above and beyond to make sure your pets are well taken care of and safe <3 Open to meet ups first or chatting on the phone to get acquainted and ensure alignment. I do a lot of free-lance, part-time work and do not do much most weekends, so I will have a lot of time to provide care and walks throughout the day. I am a very active person so I do not have trouble keeping up and staying moving. Open to recurring scheduling for the next 4 weeks. I have a fenced yard, garage area, and plenty of open space for fur babies to run around. I know a good amount of walking routes as well. I am open to coming into your space, and making sure the pet is feeling comfortable and at home. Dog-walking is my speciality, and I will do my best to ensure the best care is provided, as well as ensuring appropriate leash behavior! For pet-sitting, my greatest focus is ensuring enough walks and movement and interaction throughout the day.

About: I have over 35 years experience handling and caring for dogs and cats. I am a medical assistant and emt and have treated many wounds and ailments on animals as well. Ranch raised kid that has also raised four kids of my own out in the country. I am comfortable with all dog sizes and puppies too. Currently, I am available any days of the week anytime. I just moved to this area and have not secured employment yet and I’m thinking about going back to school. I have my own reliable transportation. I do not offer pet sitting in my home unless it is a small dog. I prefer to housesit and care for pets in their own environment. I love to walk and hike and I love to take dogs with me. About: I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I’ve also been involved in wildlife rehab rehabilitation. I am also a disaster service worker doing animal rescue during fires. I’ve always had pets in my home but recently lost my cat this year and my dog last year. I’m taking a break from having pets right now as the loss is still too new.
