About: Hello! My name is Laura and I'm 38 years old. I grew up in the country and my mother had a dog grooming studio in our house. I have always loved animals and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, ducks and horses. As an adult, I have worked at animal shelters and for private rescues. I have fostered dogs in my own home, many of whom were neglected and needed a sensitive touch. I currently have 3 rescue dogs of my own, one of whom has kidney disease. I give medication and IV fluids three times a week for her at home. I am available for dog walks/hikes, pet sitting and am comfortable with a wide range of breeds. About: I have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd. I picked him up at 8 weeks old and immediately started training. He was potty trained just after 2 weeks. I taught him the basic obedience training as well as some funs ones such as shake, high five, and roll over. I am currently part time. I am available everyday after 4pm. I am free all day Saturday and Sundays. I am awake by 6am and sleep by 10pm. I am constantly playing with my aussie as soon as I get home. He is crate trained so when I get home I take him potty and we do some training. I then take him on a 20 minute walk with more training. Before dinner we play with his toys, do some fetch and tug.

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up on a farm in Oregon my family bred, and I showed, Newfoundlands so my experience with pets is pretty vast. I'm newly retired from my job as a magazine publisher, I have a super flexible schedule. I love animals and have often needed pet sitters so I know it can be a challenge to find someone trustworthy. Since I coached (Track) for 30+ years I've been background checked, fingerprinted and bonded by several institutions including USATF and the Folsom-Cordova School District. I am First Aid and Safe Sport compliant. I prefer to watch pets at a client's Folsom (or nearby) home as I have two dogs of my own to care for. If a dog is great with other dogs, they may be welcome to come to my house; I have a fully fenced backyard and would be present 100% of the time.

About: I've been pet sitting since the fifth grade. I've sat cats and dogs and I have experience pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I've always had a passion for animals so this is a great side gig for me. This semester, I will be in class from 9:30-5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and working from 9-2 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will also be doing some training rides for the cycling teams in the range of 1-6 hours throughout the week. I will probably be hauling around my sewing machine for house sitting appointments as I need to work on my senior project. I don't offer in-home services as my current housing doesn’t allow for pets and because I think my space is too small for most dogs or cats to be happy.
