I have a flexible work schedule with some time WFH. I walk morning and evening in our neighborhood and on weekends I often walk 2-3 miles at a local park with river access.

My husband and I have almost a 1/4 acre yard, fully fenced and secure. We don’t currently have any pets of our own but do share a gate with my neighbors yard and let his dog over to visit and play. Totally optional of course, depending on your preferences. I’m open to kenneling or letting your dog(s) free roam indoors while we’re gone. We have a camera in our living room that we use while we’re gone to check in on them. We spend a lot of time in our yard when weather permits. I understand leaving your dog can be tough, and you’re obviously someone who cares a lot about their well-being if you’re hiring a sitter. My goal is to make it as stress free as possible. So - as many updates as you’d like, or level of detail in your care instructions, I get it. 💛 I keep detailed notes on their needs and what I’ve learned from their pst visits. I’ll usually send a summary of my notes following our meet & greet to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Doggone_alley on Instagram

Information Serena C. would like to know about your pet
Of course I’d like to know anything that will help me provide excellent care for your dog! Eating / medication schedules, personality quirks, favorite spots to get skritches, basic commands, how they do home alone, etc. What rules you have for them. Veterinary info in case of emergency.
A typical day
Let me know what your dog likes to do for fun! I love to walk, especially at Ancil Hoffman in Carmichael. We can run around the yard- fetch, tug, belly rubs, etc. I have a neighbor dog who is very friendly and can come over for play time. While I’m working from home I’m in a comfy home office with a couch and rug / dog bed so they can be nearby if that’s what they like. Kongs, squeaky toys, and puzzle balls are also fun! I can help reinforce any training you’re working on.

Pet care experience
I love your dog already 😍😂🤷🏻♀️ Until early 2023 when my oldest doggo passed away of cancer, I’ve always had dogs in my care. I’ve taken care of seniors and special needs, with repeated experience with epilepsy. My larger dog was reactive to other dogs, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs that are harder to walk and are aggressive at fences, etc. He was a Staffordshire Terrier/ Pittie. I’ve also attended several dog behavioral classes and sat dogs with anxiety. I believe it’s important to provide enrichment and exercise, and to pay attention to changes in behavior. I genuinely love meeting and spending time with new canine friends. I’ve also fostered many kittens and adult cats through the SSPCA, in addition to volunteering to socialize dogs and cats.

The absolute best sitters of all time! We feel so lucky to have found Serena and Wes and already look forward to the next time:) they were really great with our pups🤩

Serena was an amazing sitter for our highly energetic jack russell terrier! We’ve had two bookings with her already and would definitely book her again in the future. We’ve had other sitters in the past but Serena has provided the best care for us which is why we’d come back. She provided tons of pictures and videos of our dog throughout the stay and provided frequent updates to keep us informed. I would highly reccommend Serena to any person needing a dog sitter.

Serena and her husband were great with Bopper, followed ever step of his very strick regime and gave him lots of needed attention. Thank you!

Serena and Wes are amazing! Our dog had the best time with them and they took fabulous care of him. Felt so happy knowing he was happy and taken care of with them!! We can’t say enough nice things. Thank you guys for taking care of our pup!
