Se habla español. 会说中文。 🐾 I have 7 years of experience working with and training dogs, including puppies, seniors, and dogs with a wide variety of personalities and needs. I previously worked at a dog daycare, training, and boarding facility, which gave me experience handling many different breeds, sizes, and play styles. My property has plenty of room for dogs to run, play, and explore. I also have a fenced front yard that provides an extra layer of security for those dogs who might be tempted to sneak through an open front door! Training and enrichment are part of everyday life here. 💕 I provide a little complimentary training and reinforcement for the dogs in my care. Depending on the dog, we may work on: • Sit, down, and down-stays • Place and settling • Leash skills and heel • Respecting doors and thresholds • Fetch and tug • Engagement and impulse control Depending on each dog’s age, fitness level, and interests, activities may also include group dog jogs, walks, supervised play, fetch, tug, training games, and practicing calm settling. I believe training gives dogs more freedom, provides mental and physical enrichment, and helps build better relationships between dogs and their people. I also pay close attention to dog behavior, body language, and healthy play. Playtime is supervised so dogs can have fun without anyone being bullied or continually bothered. Dogs who want a break are given the opportunity to rest and settle. I regularly work with training clients and also offer board-and-train services from my home. Because dogs may be sharing space and activities with other dogs, I am currently able to accept friendly, well-socialized dogs who are comfortable around other dogs. I’m always happy to share training observations and suggestions with owners who are interested!
