Empty Nesters, Expert Dog Care
Hi, we’re Maddy and Ben! We are a loving, experienced couple who loves dogs. Last year we lost our beloved golden retriever and are now opening our hearts and home to care for other dogs. With no kids or other pets, and a 1/4 acre fenced backyard, your dog will get our full attention and affection in a peaceful, structured environment. We only take one dog at a time.

Herxy had great time staying with Maddy and Ben. They took a great care of him, played with him, chased him in the backyard- which he really enjoyed. They sent me a lot of pictures and updates of how he was doing and the fun activities he was enjoying. I am very happy with the care and love they gave to Herxy. We have already booked another stay for Herxy while go to Europe this Summer.
Maddy and Ben took great care of Lola! They sent me pictures and updates about all of the fun stuff they did. I felt comfortable being away know Lola was well taken care of. Thank you so much!
Maddy and Ben were awesome! Nova had a great time hanging out in their large backyard as well as her long walk. Provided updates throughout the day and would 100% recommend!

This was my first time hiring Ben and Maddy to watch my Frenchie, Joey. I was impressed by their expertise in caring for and understanding dogs and they asked all of the right questions so they knew what to expect in terms of Joey’s characteristics and triggers. They were incredibly welcoming, kind, and loving with Joey and made their house her home as well. They shared a lot of photos and video and I could see how happy and safe Joey felt with them. They are great communicators and I trust them implicitly.
They are the absolute best! We got frequent updates with pictures and our Maple girl got lots of play time. We will definitely be using them again!!

Schedule
We both work full time but with very flexible schedules. We always provide at least two walks a day, and lots of attention, love, and playtime.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a spacious home with a 1/4 acre fenced backyard. We usually let the pets access the entire house, unless owners prefer more structure. As there are two of us, we're constantly aware of what your pet is up to and making sure their needs are met. We allow animals on the furniture if owners allow it. We give lots of potty breaks and backyard playtime.
A typical day
Our daily routine is flexible depending on your pet's needs. Typically we would start with a morning walk. We have a few large parks in the area that we can walk to or stay in our yard. We'll make sure your pet gets some exercise to start the day if required. Typically after breakfast everyone will have a bit of downtime. In the afternoon, we can play out in the backyard if it's not too hot outside. We also have some fun games to play inside, like hiding toys for the dogs to sniff out. Once the weather cools off a bit, we'll go for our second walk of the day, usually a stroll around the neighborhood. In the evening we like to hang out on the couch and play more games or cuddle and give lots of pets.
