Parker can care for
Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time as a Program Aide at a day program for adults with developmental disabilities from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, which leaves me available for early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and many overnight house-sitting needs. Because I have a cat at home, pet care is already part of my everyday life. Feeding schedules, litter box care, fresh water, medication routines, playtime, and quiet companionship are all things I’m used to building my day around. I understand how important consistency is for animals, especially cats, senior pets, anxious pets, and pets with special needs. My schedule works especially well for clients who need dependable check-ins before or after work, afternoon care, evening visits, or overnight house sitting. I’m reliable, routine-oriented, and careful about keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away.

About Parker Z.
Safety, trust & environment
Safety, trust, and routine are my biggest priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely so their pet’s normal routine stays as familiar and stress-free as possible. I pay attention to feeding schedules, medication instructions, litter boxes, walks, water, playtime, quiet time, and any special rules for the home. I treat every home with respect and care. I’m mindful about locking doors, securing gates, keeping food and medications out of reach, cleaning up after pets, and leaving the space the way I found it. I also keep an eye out for changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, mobility, or mood, especially with senior pets or pets with medical needs. Because I have experience with special-needs animals, I understand how important patience and consistency can be. I’m comfortable caring for pets who are shy, anxious, elderly, blind, medically fragile, or simply need extra reassurance. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind through clear communication and updates.
Information Parker Z. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know as much about their normal routine and personality as possible. Helpful details include feeding instructions, medication needs, bathroom or litter box habits, favorite toys, walk routines, sleeping spots, and any house rules you want me to follow. I also appreciate knowing about any medical conditions, allergies, mobility issues, anxiety triggers, hiding spots, escape risks, leash behavior, or situations that make your pet nervous. For dogs, it helps to know how they do around other dogs, people, loud noises, and walks. For cats, I like to know whether they are social, shy, playful, independent, or likely to hide at first. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep your pet comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level. I like to keep things familiar and low-stress while still making sure they get attention, enrichment, and affection. For dogs, that can include walks, potty breaks, playtime, fetch, tug toys, sniffing time, basic routine reinforcement, or just hanging out together if they’re more relaxed. I’m comfortable with both energetic dogs who need activity and calmer dogs who prefer gentle companionship. For cats, I follow their lead. Some cats love wand toys, laser pointers, treats, brushing, window-watching, or play sessions. Others just want a calm person nearby, a clean litter box, fresh water, and someone who respects their space. I’m especially patient with shy, senior, or special-needs cats who need gentler care. Whether I’m doing drop-ins or house sitting, I’ll make sure pets are fed, watered, cared for, cleaned up after, and given attention that fits their routine. My goal is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

20 Years of Loving Pet & House Care
Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting and house sitting for around 20 years, starting when I was about 8 or 9 years old watching neighbors’ homes and animals while they were out of town. Since then, I’ve continued caring for pets for family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and acquaintances. What sets me apart is my experience with pets who need extra patience and attention. I have cared for special-needs and senior animals, including dogs with deafness, blindness, and medical routines. I’m comfortable administering medication, eye drops, and IV fluids when given clear instructions. I also have experience with dogs of different sizes, from small and medium dogs to larger breeds like German Shepherds and Labs. I’m gentle, reliable, detail-oriented, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, medically fragile, or just happiest with consistency, I’ll treat them with patience, kindness, and care.
