About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Occasionally I might be out for the night but its generally about once a week or less. My home has a fenced yard, an atrium, 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. I also have an alarm system that is armed at night. I am happy to let dogs out in the yard and take them on walks. At my clients home I am happy to sit with your pets to keep them company and read a comic book, draw on my tablet, or play a game on my Switch.

About: I have a senior dog of 17 years (and going strong) so I know how hard it is to trust others with my own dog. I’m a very active person with a lot of love to give. I’ve dog sat for friends and family from golden retriever puppies to chihuahuas, i’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable with me. I’m currently one of my brother's caregivers and so when I’m not looking over him I have more time to play with your fur baby. I understand line of sight (I use to work at an after school program) so your pet will not be alone. Different pets have different needs so I’ll make sure to go at their pace.

About: I'm new to Rover, but well-experienced in cat care. My home is like a ready-made daycare for the three of them. I'm like that helicopter mom who's always making sure my babies are safe and well cared for, and I will do the same for your pets. In the past, not only have I taken care of my animals, but I have also looked after strays walking through my apartment building. Especially during kitten season, mama cats need help the most. And if the neighbor's cat strays my way, I don't mind giving them a treat and some companionship, too. That's how I am with the furry ones; I'm there for them. And I will look forward to doing the same for your pets if you hire me for drop-in visits. I also want to point out that my services are for cats, but I would be more than happy to tend to your dog the same way if you have one at no additional charge right now. And that includes feedings, replenishing the water bowl, playing with them, administering meds (topical, not injections), and a little grooming. And because this is a DIV, sorry, I won't be doing dog walking. This saves me time in order to make it to my next client. Because I'm new at this, I prefer to do drop-in visits right now. I can do drop-in visits up to six days a week, in the afternoon. Just let me know how many days out of the six you need me. When hired, I will give your pet or pets plenty of play time and TLC. If you have specific instructions, such as how to administer meds, please let me know. I would also like to point out that, because I'm new here at Rover, I don't have any testimonials. About: I have 7 years of professional experience caring for dogs and cats in a variety of settings; volunteering at shelters to working at training facilities, kennels, and provide companionship to family/friends while their on vacation. I’m confident in handling different personalities, breeds, and situations with care. I work at an office but maintain a structured schedule to ensure your pup gets plenty of attention and care. Pups are let out in the morning for 3-4 hours before I work, and have two other humans (my husband & brother) who come in check on them/potty breaks every 3 hours. When home, it’s all about cuddles, play, and companionship. Dogs have supervised free roam inside the house and access to the fully fenced backyard when I’m outside with them. When no one is home, pups are safely crated for their protection.

This was my first experience with Rover. Thanks to Ana, it will not be my last. Since I got my first cat three years ago, I have limited my travel to short, in-state trips. I just didn't have anyone who I trusted with my cats, so I avoided long work trips or extended vacations. But that all changed when I found Ana. My kitties are looking forward to seeing her again, and I am very happy to be able to travel to important family events in the future. Ana is extremely detail-oriented, and conscientious about her job. When she came by for a pre-departure meet and greet, I thought that I had written down everything that she might need to know. Yet she still thought to ask about things that I had not considered. She offered to put my trash bin out so that my house did not look unoccupied. She offered to water my houseplants while I was away. She even offered to put food out for the neighborhood stray that I normally feed! I gave her a lot of information during that first meeting, and she remembered every single detail throughout my trip. Even though I'm a helicopter parent when it comes to my cats, I was totally at ease knowing that Ana was coming by daily to check in on them. Ana is compassionate and intuitive when it comes to interacting with pets, and my cats were happy to see her each day. Even my second cat, who is normally terrified of strangers, grew to like Ana. I highly recommend Ana. Even though her rate was a little higher than other nearby Rover providers who do drop-in visits, she is worth every penny. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.
Hilda was great! She was very responsive and very punctual with our check ins. My cats felt very comfortable and safe with her, and she shared great pictures and updates of the care she took of them. I will absolutely reach out to her again whenever I’m out of town!

Taylor was amazing with our kitties! She was punctual and professional and it was very clear that the cats really trusted her. One of them is quite shy, but the photos showed that she came out for Taylor to get affection and food. She played with and pet the more social of the two so he didn't get too lonely while we were away. She even washed the food dishes after use! Can't recommend her enough if you need someone to look after your cats!
