“Ana and her husband were absolute lifesavers when caring for our lil Queenie! This was her first time boarding and she is a previous wild outdoor kitty but she settled in nicely in Ana’s apartment after a few days. Ana knows cats really well and exactly how they will react and in new environments. We will definitely be using Ana’s wonderful services in the future. I would highly recommend her 10 out of 10! Thanks so much, Ana!”

“Bethany took great care of my cat while I was on vacation! She not only fed her, but spent time playing with her and giving her the attention she needs. She also went above and beyond to water my garden in the middle of a heat wave, which I really appreciated. It’s a great feeling to know your pet is in good hands while you’re gone, and I never had any doubt that Bethany was taking great care of my baby. I will definitely use her pet-sitting services again in the future and highly recommend her if you’re looking for help!”

“Natalie is incredible as always! She not only took care of my own two cats but also my mother’s cat who was staying with me at the time. My mother’s cat is what I like to describe as a “grumpy old man” from anyone else he only accepts head scratches for a limited time but with Natalie he LOVES her!! I don’t know what it is but he was obsessed with her and my mother and I were shocked and so elated! We love seeing her updates on our cats and she does an amazing job as always!!”

“Dustin is the best! He is so friendly, kind of like family so you feel comfortable leaving your family pet and can relax on vacation. He watched our cat for us and even sent pictures daily. Will definitely use him for our next get away.”

About: I approach each dog as individuals to understand their personalities. As a pet parent, I’ve owned five dogs, three of which unfortunately have moved on to the rainbow bridge. I currently have a 5 year old Aussie and a 3 year old border collie mix, both a calm and friendly to dogs, cats, and people. I work a regular job from 8am - 4:30pm M-F, with remote work from W-F. My availability are any remote days and weekends. I can watch your dogs at home during those days or check in on them after work hours and anytime in the weekends. I spoil my dogs and cats. I make sure to play with them daily and take them for walks. Having an Aussie and border collie demands it! Both our dogs know when it’s bed time and sleep in our bedroom. Luna the border collie sleeps in our bed, the best snuggle bug ever.
“Georgia is great! Georgia was very communicative and so detailed in the updates. I appreciated how Georgia really tried to get to know my cat and give me the most descriptive updates. I arrived with my cat’s food and water bowls full and a clean litter box. Thanks again Georgia!”

About: I have over 25 years of hands-on animal care experience, starting in childhood on a farm and continuing throughout my life. Caring for animals has always been a core part of who I am, not just something I do. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including pets with more medicine needs. I work with animals of all sizes and dispositions. I am very experienced with medication administration, including oral medications, subcutaneous injections in cats, injections in dogs, and specialty medications such as cancer treatments, which I administer carefully and safely using proper protective equipment. I am also familiar with veterinary care routines and attentive to changes in behavior or health. I am known for being gentle, patient, observant, and calm, even in challenging situations. I have significant experience caring for senior pets, animals with medical needs, and cats with strong personalities or aggression. I respect animals’ boundaries, read their body language closely, and know when to give space and when to confidently stand my ground so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I love getting to know each animal as an individual, learning their routines, preferences, and quirks, and interacting with them in the way that works best for them. I take pride in making animals feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for while their humans are away. I’m trustworthy, attentive, and fully present when I’m with your pets. I will likely give them silly nicknames and may even sing to them, but above all, I will treat them with kindness, respect, and the same level of care I would want for my own animals. I work from home, which means my schedule is very flexible, and pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. Because I’m not tied to a rigid office schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet visits, routines, and any special care needs rather than trying to fit them in between other commitments. I’m proud to be one of the go-to pet sitters in my Sacramento community, and I take that trust seriously. When I commit to caring for pets, they receive my full attention, not rushed or distracted care. I’m able to reliably maintain feeding schedules, administer medications, provide enrichment and companionship, and keep up with daily care tasks that help pets feel comfortable and secure. I understand how important consistency, calm, and reliability are for pets when their people are away. My flexible schedule allows me to spend quality time with each pet, observe their behavior closely, and notice any changes early. I communicate clearly and provide thoughtful updates so pet parents can feel confident and at ease while they’re gone. Pet sitting isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule. It’s something I intentionally make space for. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and am excited to continue offering dependable, attentive, and compassionate pet care to my community. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is centered on safety, consistency, and respect for each pet’s routine. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, preferences, and any special care instructions so their environment feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow established feeding schedules, medication instructions, and care routines carefully, and I’m experienced administering a wide range of medications when needed. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and overall comfort, and I address any concerns promptly and thoughtfully. I prioritize creating a calm, clean, and secure environment. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, litter boxes, food storage, and any household safety considerations. I respect pets’ boundaries and personalities, and I interact with them in the way that works best for them, whether that’s active engagement, gentle companionship, or giving them space while still keeping a close eye on their well-being. Communication is very important to me. I provide regular updates, including photos, so pet parents can see that their pets are comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I’m responsive, transparent, and proactive with communication, which helps owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. Above all, I care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. I take the responsibility seriously and treat every pet and home with the same level of care and respect I would expect for my own.
“This was my first time hiring Karli as a drop in sitter for my cat, and I was incredibly impressed. She was very thorough at the meet and greet, and was extremely professional and communicative throughout the booking. She always wrote detailed updates on how my cat was doing for each Rover card, and she genuinely left my house spotless. I would absolutely trust Karli with my cat and home and would book her again.”

“Mooney is bar far the best cat sitter we have ever had. He is kind, professional, and a seemingly professional photographer. He sent us the BEST pictures while we were away and made us feel secure. We are so grateful for him & will 100% use his services again. Thank you Mooney!!”

“Alma was a wonderful sitter for our last minute care needs for our Cat - Lulu. We had to leave down with short notice due to a family emergency and Alma stepped in without hesitation. She provided drop in visits for us and we received daily updates with pictures! We came home to a happy cat and would love to work with her again 😊”

“Beth was very attentive to Cleo’s needs even though she can be a little spicy, even for a calico. She was very communicative and helped ease any worries I had about leaving my cat. Thank you!”

“Alanna was wonderful! She spent time to actually interact with my cat instead of just filling his food bowl and leaving. She also noticed a hazard on one of his toys that had been broken and made sure it was kept out of his reach so that he wouldn't hurt himself. She was also good about updating me on his behavior as well as notifying me of packages arriving at our home. I am so grateful I found Alanna to watch my cat! Knowing she was watching him definitely made my trip away from home more worry free!”
“Hans is the best!! Goes above and beyond, and most importantly when I get back I can tell how well cared for my kitties have been by how happy they are. 5 stars!!”

“We needed a sitter at the last second and Justin was available to take care of our cats. We’ve gone with him before and it’s always been a great experience. He is experienced and patient with cats and is very responsive. Would 100% recommend Justin!”

About: I know how hard it can be to leave your cat, especially if they’re shy, older, or have special needs. I’ve been a cat person my entire life, currently care for two cats of my own, and have volunteered with local cat rescue groups. I’m experienced with senior care, medications, and cats who need a calm, consistent presence. I respect each cat’s personality and routine so they feel as comfortable as possible in their own home. I’m self employed with a flexible work from home schedule, which allows me to easily fit pet care into my weekly routine and prioritize reliable, consistent drop in visits. I provide in home drop in care only, so your cat stays comfortable in their own environment. I prioritize safety, routine, and clear communication on every visit. I follow all care instructions closely, keep doors and windows secure, and make sure food, water, litter, and medications are handled exactly as requested. Each visit is customized to your cat’s needs so they feel calm, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Victoria did everything we asked for and stayed in contact when she had questions or concerns. She was consistent when coming to our house and our cats took an immediate liking to her. I would definitely recommend her to take care of your animals.”

“Inc I’m melting this is the sweetest thing!! I’m so glad he likes you and he’s very affectionate! I saw your question about the cream and if you would like to come by more absolutely! It all depends on your day and let me know if you would like another tip!”

Parkway cat parents share their Rover experiences
Natalie is incredible as always! We love seeing her updates on our cats and she does an amazing job as always!!

Taylor was amazing with our kitties! She was punctual and professional and it was very clear that the cats really trusted her. One of them is quite shy, but the photos showed that she came out for Taylor to get affection and food. She played with and pet the more social of the two so he didn't get too lonely while we were away. She even washed the food dishes after use! Can't recommend her enough if you need someone to look after your cats!

Grace is the very best. I can travel without a care when she is there with my 2 felines. She is an excellent communicator and, most importantly, she is able to respond quickly and maturely if the occasion arises when a decision or action is needed. I recommend her without reservation.

Zariyah was amazing! I was away for five days and needed someone dependable to drop in on my cat, Gojo. She delivered above and beyond. She made sure he was fed, had fresh water every day, and kept his litter box clean. What I appreciated most was that she shared regular updates, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. Knowing Gojo was in such thoughtful and capable hands made all the difference. I’ll definitely be booking Zariyah again. I highly recommend her service!

Sinovia was very pleasant and all of my animals were accepting. Timeliness and communication surrounding the visit were both good. With past sitters I’ve always received a written summary of the visit which was missing from this experience — while I don’t think it’s necessary for every visit (multi day bookings) or with established sitters, I think it’s important when building a trusting relationship with a new client. While my animals were healthy, safe and cared for, I did not see many clear efforts to go “above and beyond” for a first visit (first impression).
