About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. Outside of pet sitting, I spend my time applying to jobs in clinical research, running errands, doing chores, and meeting with friends, which gives me plenty of availability and flexibility for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets never feels like a chore to me. I’m very attentive with feeding schedules, playtime, walks, litter box cleaning, medications if needed, and making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. At this time, I only offer care in my client’s home because I have an anxious 9-year-old tabby cat at home, and I want to keep his environment calm and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. For overnight stays, I usually stay in the guest room or designated area of the home, and many pets enjoy sleeping nearby or spending time with me throughout the day. I’m very respectful of your home and prioritize cleanliness, safety, and communication. I make sure doors are securely locked, pets are supervised carefully, and feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and potty breaks are handled consistently. I also pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and comfort level to help reduce stress and keep them happy during your absence.
