“Achara was wonderful! I’m so thankful we were able to board Copper, my senior dog, with her while away for a work conference. She kept me regularly updated about how he was doing and sent lots of pictures — he clearly enjoyed himself.”

“Minhhan has been wonderful with our senior Shih Tzu. Delilah has lots of anxiety and it takes time for her to feel comfortable around new people. Minhhan has been very patient with Delilah and Delilah has become very fond of Minhhan. We have already set it up another boarding appointment with her. You can definitely tell she is an animal lover and Delilah and our family are so happy to have found Minhhan.”

“Jennifer was awesome as always! I trust my pet baby with her. This is his 3rd visit with her. This was his second overnight stay, this stay was for two days. My boy is blind, takes insulin shots twice a day, a very old senior. I always worry about him when I’m away, but with Jennifer I can relax and enjoy my vacation. Thank you Jennifer. 🥰”
“While I was away, Sade had excellent communication with me the entire time. She sent pictures and updates regularly, which I really appreciated. She also followed the meal plan I provided perfectly and took great care of Peanut. I would definitely highly recommend Sade to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and I will absolutely be using her again in the very near future!”

“This was the first time I boarded my (75lb) dog at someone’s home and I was terrified. From communication exchange, Zia was everything I wanted in a dog sitter but felt we were NOTHING that she would want from a pet in her house. We met for a meet and greet in a park and immediately Milly jumped on her (gleefully) and I thought it was the end. It was only the beginning. Zia interacted with my dog in a warm, reassuring way and projected that to her small kids who also were very easy going. Read her profile. It is exactly who she is and she is more than those words. I felt so comfortable leaving her there in her care- with her animal experience and knowledge, she easily managed the dog and I’m not sure Milly was altogether thrilled to come home after all the attention she received. Zia is a treasure to have on your side to care for your beloved partner pet.”

“We dropped off our lil guy for 2 weeks over the holidays and couldn’t have been happier with Bari. She was giving us constant updates and pictures. It was a great peace of mind knowing he was having fun and being cared for!”

“We had a positive experience with Irina caring for our 4-month-old puppy. As first-time pet parents leaving him with a sitter, we were a bit anxious, but her experience and calm approach immediately put us at ease. She took good care of him, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her in the future. We highly recommend Irina!”

“We booked Ann to watch our pug for 4 days. She sent us lots of pictures and updates, which we really appreciated. When our flight coming home was delayed, she was very accommodating and understanding. We really liked how she followed all Covid protocols and her home is very clean and welcoming. We will definitely use her in the future!”
About: Hello! My name is Morgan, and I’m an experienced dog mom and pet sitter with a lifelong love for animals. I grew up in the country surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. During college, I fostered dogs and regularly pet sat, which is actually how I found my own dog, Tana. I’ve enjoyed it so much that we decided, why not expand to Rover? I truly believe that pets are apart of the family and I will care for your pup like they’re one of my own. I have a very flexible schedule and me and my partner, Brandon, are home everyday. This gives us plenty of time for walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and lots of attention. I treat every pet like they are my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, sleeping, and medication routine.
“My doggo had a great weekend! I recieved frequent updates and pictures! He seemed very cozy there, I'll defiently bring him back next time I need a boarding in the area!!”

“I wasn't sure my dog Max would want to come back home after spending time with Mayra and all the beings in her warm and comforting home. Her kind and gentle nature put us all at ease.”

“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“We had such a great experience with Zhuoya! They took such wonderful care of our dog and treated her with so much kindness and attention. We really appreciated all of the updates, pictures, and photos throughout her stay. It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was happy and well cared for. She was also incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made everything so easy for us. Most importantly, our dog had such a great time and came home happy! It was clear she felt comfortable and loved while she was there. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and attentive pet sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾❤️”

“Rachael and Marc were so amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and I could not have gotten any luckier. Rachael is so kind and communicative, and she even provided photo updates every day. I cannot recommend them enough!”

“Deborah was really engaged with taking care of my little dog and sent lots of photos! Deborah seems caring and thorough in her pet-sitting and very responsive. I would definitely reach out to her again!”

“Anais was very aware and considerate of my dog’s needs and our preferences. She was communicative and shared pictures throughout the stay. I will definitely reach out to Anais again in the future.”

Alexandra was an amazing sitter for our 3 month puppy. She communicated with us throughout our time away and helped us feel at ease on how our little guy was doing. When we picked up our little puppy, she told us some great tips on his mood and temperament to help train him better which we’ve applied to great success.

A bit hard to review as there wasn’t much overlapping time to be with Memha. Her home is quite rural and surrounded by orchards with a large fenced yard so visually very appealing Memha and her husband were very sweet and volunteered to come into town to both pick up and return our dog back to us; very thoughtful! Our dog came home tired which we loved!

Bosco had a wonderful time with Akio (oh, and Angela and her family were pretty cool, too). He enjoyed the walks, the dog park, the constant company and wrestling with Akio - the icing on the puppy cake was the crunchy homemade sweet potato treats (I'm jealous myself). 10/10, would book again :)

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Swingle can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Swingle home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Swingle.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
