About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. About: I love animals very much and as a result, have much experience with them. I had a dog for 10 years that I fully trained from the age of 8 weeks, so I am very comfortable with puppies. Additionally, I have dog-sat senior dogs many times, for multiple days. I am a student at UC Davis currently, with class only a couple of times per day. I have a car as well so I am easily able to visit your pet multiple times throughout the day. I have no classes on Fridays or the weekends so I am usually fully free on those days. How you and your dog's usual schedule is, is what I will try my best to replicate for your pup. For example, if the dog needs to be fed or let out at a certain time, I will make sure it happens.

About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I have a fenced patio, luckily there are a few pet friendly parks that surround me. I follow any instructions given for your pet care to a T since no one knows your pet like you do. “She was very patient and flexible with my ever changing plans due to weather and my commitments to be at a friend’s bday. I was not able to drop my dog off , but she was more willing to take my smaller dog in and cage him in a quiet room so he would feel safe. She also agreed to take him out for a walk. Due to the weather the same day we confirmed, but on the way cancelled and paid for the day care as this is her livelihood. We could have asked to cancel, but that is not what good pet parents do. They make sure people like Mrs. Achara are taken care of as well. I will use her in the future when we are in West Sacramento. Our dog is almost 15 and she was committed to taking care of him in the way we felt was best for him.”

About: I grew up with large dogs, rodents, and have owned many scaly friends. I befriend every stray cat I meet and I stop to help whenever I see a dog that's escaped their home and its safe to do so. I also used to ride horses when I lived in the country. Currently I take care of my thumbnail dart frogs and wish for more animal friends. I am currently unemployed but work on developing my own video game at home. When I am employed my jobs are exclusively remote. I like to go on an evening walk and sometimes I will be out of the house for a few hours at a time. What that means is a lot of the time, I will be in the home, hanging with your furry, feathered, or scaly baby, working on my laptop. During the times I need to work outside of the home, my 19 year old daughter (who has been doing Rover with me since she was 11) will give the best care in my place. I have a thriving Airbnb business in my home for over a decade, so I have a ton of experience and mindset on home-care: I treat other folks' pets and homes as well as I treat my own. My first job for that I held for 4 years in High School was at a Vet hospital, where I fed, cleaned, walked, cared for and groomed the boarding dogs and cats. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. I take my puppy on long walks at the Davis Arboretum and have a dog park where I live which ensures they are getting their exercise and playtime. My apartment is clean for health safety. If I am staying at the owner’s home, I will apply the owner’s directions.

About: I’ve been caring for pets and homes for more than 25 years, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and have spent years caring for pets for friends, family, and through TrustedHousesitters. Earlier in my career, I worked at a veterinary office, which gave me hands-on experience with animal care. I’ve also volunteered with Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue, helping with transportation, fostering dogs in need, and walking dogs at the rescue. That’s actually where I met and eventually adopted my own Golden Retriever and Mini Goldendoodle! My family has been active on TrustedHousesitters for the past two years, both as pet owners and sitters. Being on the other side of the experience has given us a real appreciation for how important it is to find someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after your pets. We love giving that same peace of mind to other pet parents. I work full-time, but spending time with animals is one of my favorite things to do in my free time. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping your pet company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️ I work from home most days so am open to taking care of pets in the morning, lunch time, and in the evenings. I am available on weekends with a 1 week notice. I can also stay at your house and work remotely if you require someone to be with your pets throughout the day. I care for every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, and care. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I do not like kenneling dogs so unless this is a request of yours, your dog(s) will not be kenneled. They will have full roam of my house and will have access 24/7 to the backyard via the doggy door.
