About: I am a owner of two maltese dogs and understand the hard work and care necessary for keeping a pet. I am a trusted and involved pet sitter in my family/friend circle. From Lovebirds to active Huskies, I have looked after them all! The key characteristics that I am qualified with are patience, attentiveness, communication, and attention to detail. Additionally, I am a second year Animal Science major at UC Davis. Many of my courses involve hands-on animal handling and husbandry knowledge. I understand that pets are family, and it's essential they feel comfortable and secure in their environment. I work my schedule around classes each quarter. During this Fall quarter I am primarily available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 4:00pm. I am also available for mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am - 12pm. Weekends I am flexible and open! My apartment is a peaceful, pet-friendly haven! We’re right next to green spaces and the arboretum, making it ideal for long, relaxing walks. Although I share the space with three roommates, we are all dog lovers who maintain a quiet, calm lifestyle. For in-home pet sitting I aim to keep your pet relaxed in their familiar space. I maintain a low-key routine, ensuring your home stays quiet and your pet receives dedicated attention, regular outdoor exercise, and consistent care. Your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, and a relaxing place to feel right at home.

About: I am experienced with caring for all kinds of dogs. I have access to many dog parks and walk them up to 5 times a day. I adapt to the pet’s needs to give them the best care. I have a golden retriever (6 mo.) and a labradoodle (10 yrs). My golden (Sunny) is super friendly and loves to make friends! I ensure that your pet’s needs are met and they have the highest form of care. I’m a junior at the University of California, Davis. I have a flexible schedule with my course work that allows me to be fully engaged with the dogs in my care. I live in a gated community so pets can’t easily get out. I take my puppy on long walks at the Davis Arboretum and have a dog park where I live which ensures they are getting their exercise and playtime. My apartment is clean for health safety. If I am staying at the owner’s home, I will apply the owner’s directions.

About: My name is Destiny and I grew up caring for large and small dogs and cats. I have hands-on experience raising puppies and kittens from birth through adulthood. As an adult, I continue to care for both cats and dogs, including adopted shelter cats and my own Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. Both of my dogs are neutered, gentle and affectionate. My Standard Poodle loves to run and play and can be wonderfully bouncy, but he's also surprisingly nurturing and likes to make sure everyone is okay. My Labrador is basically Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh—a lovely potato who is particularly drawn to wee, scrappy dogs. I actively study canine behavior and learning. I train and participate in dog sports including obedience, scent work/nose work, agility, Barn Hunt and NASDA. I'm comfortable observing canine body language, following established training and management routines, providing enrichment, and adapting my approach to the individual dog. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know animals as individuals. I don't expect every dog or cat to immediately love me, and I don't force interaction. I believe comprehensive care starts with paying attention to what makes an animal feel safe, comfortable and understood. I work from home with a flexible schedule and control over my own hours, which gives me plenty of time to incorporate walks, play, enrichment, meals, potty breaks and companionship throughout the day. Our household is unusually quiet and relaxed. There are no children in the home, and my neighborhood is a peaceful residential area that's well suited to walks and downtime. Pets staying with me have opportunities for activity and engagement, but also plenty of time and space to settle, nap and simply relax. Because I'm home much of the day, pet care fits naturally into my routine rather than having to be squeezed in around a long commute or rigid work schedule. I believe pet care starts with understanding the *individual* animal. I take time to learn each pet's normal routine, temperament, preferences, training cues, feeding needs and anything that may make them uncomfortable or stressed. My approach is calm, patient and attentive. I don't force interactions, and I pay close attention to body language and changes in behavior. I follow owners' established routines and management instructions carefully because consistency can make being away from home much easier for a pet. My home is clean, quiet, child-free and low-stress, in a peaceful residential neighborhood. I want visiting pets to have a comfortable place where they can play and engage when they want to, but can also settle and rest without constant activity, noise or disruption. When caring for pets in their own homes, I bring the same approach: respect the animal's familiar environment, follow the household's routines carefully, communicate reliably with the owner, and leave things exactly as I found them.

I grew up in the country surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. During college, I fostered dogs and regularly pet sat, which is actually how I found my own dog, Tana. I’ve enjoyed it so much that we decided, why not expand to Rover? I truly believe that pets are apart of the family and I will care for your pup like they’re one of my own. I have a very flexible schedule and me and my partner, Brandon, are home everyday. About: Hi! We are Camille and Daihong, a husband and wife team who would love to welcome your pup into our little family! I grew up with a dog and have been around dogs for most of my life, while Daihong became a first time dog dad when we got our Mia. Now he might be just as obsessed with dogs as I am, if not more! 😂 We are currently raising Mia our super sweet doodle, and she absolutely loves people and other dogs. She is playful, social, and always excited to make a new friend, so your pup will have a built in buddy during their stay! As dog parents ourselves, we know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your baby with someone else. We will treat your dog like one of our own with lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, walks, and probably a little extra spoiling. ❤️ We are also happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and send plenty of pictures and updates so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and having a great time. Our goal is for your dog to feel like they are having a little vacation of their own while you are away! 🐶🏡 I work from home Monday through Wednesday, and Daihong works from home full time, so someone will always be home with your pup! Our days already revolve around caring for Mia, so walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention are a normal part of our daily routine. We have lots of flexibility and are happy to accommodate your dog’s usual schedule as much as possible. We live in an apartment, so we are best suited for small to medium sized dogs who are comfortable in an apartment environment. We take Mia out regularly throughout the day for walks and potty breaks, and there is a dog park right across the street that we love taking her to for some extra exercise and playtime. Mia is very friendly and loves both people and other dogs, so your pup will have a built in buddy during their stay! Since Daihong works from home full time, someone is usually around to keep an eye on the pups and give them plenty of attention. We are also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, sleeping, and crate routine so they can feel as comfortable and at home as possible. ❤️
