I am currently a student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to become a vet! I have had pets at home since elementary school including dogs, cats, and chickens. At home I play an integral role caring for each of my pets. My love for animals extends outside of the house as I look to work with animals professionally as a veterinarian. I have 8 years of experience volunteering and working at veterinary clinics. Through my work, I have learned to handle all kinds of breeds and temperaments. Jonathan did a great job and was punctual
Jonathan is an absolutely outstanding caregiver and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs. He treats my animals with the utmost respect and care, and they are never scared or nervous around him. He truly has a connection with pets and a caring approach that is rare among pet sitters. He is also reliable and an effective communicator, and I can always count on him to be on time. Overall, Jonathan is an amazing individual and I (and my dogs) highly recommend him as a pet sitter!
Jonathan is one of the most friendly, caring and smartest people I have met. Jonathan is someone who always treats everyone with respect and does not hesitate to help others. Jonathan has a deep love for animals he has had pets of his own, and he was recently admitted into Vet school. Pursuing a career where he is able to show his love for animals and provide a difference not only in the lives of animals but as well their owners/family shows how big is heart is.
Jonathan has given our chubby little Weiner dog, Chester, the best care time and time again. He's been our go-to sitter for about two years, and we have never encountered anything but exceptional kindness and consideration towards Chester. Overall, my husband and I highly recommend Jonathan for any pet-sitting needs.
Jonathan has taken care of my pets for over 5 years now. He is my go-to when it comes to being helpful with them when I need an extra hand. In addition, him being a veterinary student makes me feel extra comfortable. I know that I am in good hands giving him the responsibility to care for my cats or my dog for periods of time. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather have take care of my pets when I am unable to.
Listen -- I am a crazy cat lady. My two cats are the most important things in the world to me, and I have a difficult time leaving them with just about anyone. However, Jonathan always makes me feel at ease. I wholly trust him to keep my cats healthy and happy whenever I'm away. If I had other pets, I'd trust him with them too! Jonathan's love for all animals is apparent and he is always very kind and communicative. I could not recommend him more!

Schedule
I am currently in my second year of vet school and will have openings most days at various times to care for all your dog's and/or cat's needs before, after, and between classes. I have previous experience as a veterinary assistant, which consisted of caring for pets, so this will just be an extension of the same care I provided in the animal hospital and the animals I care for in vet school.

I am very comfortable tending to all the needs of your pets including walking, feeding, playing with, cleaning up after, and giving medications. I am confident in handling dogs and cats and will ensure their safety around other animals.
Pets
A typical day
I am an avid walker. Any chance I get to go somewhere local, walking is my transportation of choice and I hope to extend that to the dogs I walk as well! I am well acquainted with the parks in the west LA/Davis area and love to play fetch with dogs! I also have two cats at home and regularly play with them using string toys and laser pointers.
