Communicates well! Took great care of our dog! Even brought him to the vet when needed and gave our dog his meds! Thanks so much!

Lena was super easy to coordinate with. She took great care of Nadene, and I appreciate her sending photo updates. Book with Lena; your pet will be in good hands!

My experience with Lena was really great! I boarded my dog at her place, and I could tell that she had really enjoyed her stay when I picked her up. I appreciated Lena’s daily updates and photos, and she was happy to work with me when my plans changed and I needed to alter my booking. Overall, a 10/10 experience. I will absolutely be booking with Lena again
Lena took wonderful care of Raphael during his stay! She kept me updated with thoughtful messages and photos, gave his medication, took great care of him after a fun day at the lake (thank you for that adventure!) and was quick and honest to let me know about anything out of the ordinary. Rapha came home happy, relaxed, clean, and very well cared for. I felt completely comfortable leaving him with her and would absolutely book with Lena again, she’s caring, intelligent and detail oriented. Highly recommend!

I give Lena my highest recommendation as a dog sitter! I am writing this review in reference to our experiences on two separate occasions. The first time we had Lena sit for our dog Daisy (a 4 yo pit mix) was a great experience. We always look for someone to watch Daisy who enjoys spending time with her and wants to have fun and Lena went above and beyond by not only taking Daisy on walks but also all sorts of hikes and adventures (we even got a cool photo of her wearing sunglasses!). Lena also dealt with some issues of Daisy having to go potty in the middle of the night very competently and professionally. She watched Daisy for 11 days and Daisy was well taken care of and happy when we picked her back up. The second time we had scheduled with Lena to watch Daisy for one night and Lena had a family emergency come up (a totally valid reason to cancel). Instead of simply leaving it to us to find a backup, Lena helped coordinate with her roommate to watch Daisy, which worked out great. Lena that she is not only able to take great care of dogs, but she is also a thoughtful and responsible person.

Lena was one of our go-to dogsitters when she lived in Los Angeles, and we still ask her first when we plan travel to see if she is going to be in town and available. She is responsible and dependable- once she has committed she has NEVER cancelled (this has happened to us with other dogsitters and is beyond stressful). Lena is respectful of our home and she loves our dogs. As the dogs have gotten older and require medications, more specific care, she always makes sure that she understands the plan. We adore our pups, we do not like to send them to board, and as they are having more health issues only trust them to 3 people- Lena is one of those three. Highly recommend to those of you who want someone who is a dog-lover and who is kind, responsible and dependable for dog walking and sitting.

Schedule
I recently graduated UC Davis in June (2026). This summer, I'm job hunting and in the process of moving, but have no solid schedule. Dogs are never alone for more than 6 hours at a time. My mornings and evenings are dedicated to pet care, and I plan my day around their needs. My schedule is consistent week to week. Evenings and weekends allow for extra attention, playtime, and longer walks. I prioritize maintaining each pet's routine, whether that includes sleeping in my room or following specific feeding times, to help them feel comfortable during their stay.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live with two roommates who love animals but will not be assisting with care. We don’t have any pets of our own, but we frequently have people over- your pet will get a lot of love! Our apartment is carpeted and has stairs, which might be difficult for puppies or dogs with mobility issues. I live right next to the greenbelt with a small grassy patio in our front yard. Growing up, my dogs were crate trained, so I’m familiar with using crates safely and positively. I’ve cleaned up plenty of messes, both inside and out, and I’m always mindful about keeping food and anything tempting out of reach.
A typical day
A typical day starts with breakfast and a morning walk, followed by some supervised downtime or playtime as I get ready for my day. Midday includes another walk or potty break. In the evenings, we do a longer walk, dinner, and some cuddle time before winding down for the night. During the week, I love walks and playtime with dogs, whether that’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just hanging out outside (maybe inside during the Davis summer heat though lol). On weekends, if your dog enjoys adventure, I love bringing them along for hikes, swimming, paddle boarding, trips to pet friendly restaurants, and other dog friendly activities. I'll tailor activities to each dog's personality and comfort level, and always make time for cuddles and attention.
