Gentle, Experienced Sitter

I have experience with many different types of animals. I have cats, dogs, a snake, a lizard, snails, and fish. I also lived on a farm and have experience with farm animals. I am good at training dogs and have experience with animal's medication management. My dog has an anxiety disorder, and one of my cats had an intense medical scare which required medication three times a day. Work to provide the best for all my animals, and I'll work to provide the best for yours as well.

Doggy Day Care • Aug 08, 2026

They took care of my pup like she was their own. Drop off was a breeze and pick up went flawlessly. They provided periodic updated of my dogd temperment and attitude which helped me feel at ease.

Nic has always done a great caring for my animals. He is firm on correcting problematic behaviors while still giving the animals lots of love and attention. He's really good at training dogs as well.

Schedule

I currently work part-time during the days. There is never a time where my house is unsupervised for more than a few hours at a time to go out and eat or run errands. With my dogs, I typically crate them when I leave to prevent them from causing problems like digging in the trash, but that is up to your discretion for your animal.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard that my two dogs frequently run around in. I have a small inflatable pool for the animals to play in during the heat. I will take care to attend to each animal's individualized needs, so if your dogs needs to be crated at certain times or has specific triggers please let me know.

Pets

A typical day

In addition to multiple walks during the day and evening, I provide an abundance of toys ranging from squeakies, puzzles, and tug toys. I have a backyard where often my dogs can entertain as well (they are great company I swear). I can also accommodate any routine play you have with your own pets such as commands and other enrichment activities.

At a baseline, they have to be friendly with all animals. We have cats and dogs and wouldn’t want to risk the safety of any animals involved if there are temperamental concerns. Along with that, any other behavioral problems such as using the bathroom inside, for through trash, etcetera. Behavioral concerns aren’t a definite rejection. To ensure the safety of your fur baby I need to know if they have separation anxiety. I’ve heard too many story of sitters not being prepared for the severity of a pup’s anxiety, not knowing is a hazard for all involved
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
