About: I strive to provide a welcoming, enriching home away from home for your dog. To ensure the best care possible, I only accept up to 2 dogs at a time. You can expect regular updates throughout your pup’s stay. Safety is a top priority. I check my yard regularly for potential hazards and do paw checks for foxtails after every walk. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space for zoomies. Dogs can explore the garden, sunbathe on the grass, or lounge under the shaded pergola. Pets are welcome on the couch, and I also have extra dog beds and an indoor dog house for pups who prefer a little more personal space. My experience: I have a 6yo maltipoo named Chewy and 14yo shihtzu named Joey. They are very respectful of other dogs’ personal space. I trained Chewy using positive reinforcement and taught him many tricks and commands. I have been caring for dogs of all sizes and ages since I was 15. My senior dog experience includes fostering one who was adopted into her forever home and providing long-term care for two others. I’m very comfortable administering medication, preparing special diets, and grooming. Rover is a side hobby, and I ask for a little advance notice so I can prepare for my doggie guest. I follow the schedule provided by the paw-parents. If none is given then it’s usually a morning potty break, breakfast, walk, mid day potty break, dinner, and potty before bedtime. Playtime is sprinkled throughout the day or I may incorporate it with their meal time like food in a puzzle toy. I tailor care to each dog’s needs. Every day includes physical exercise or mental stimulation such as daily walks, fetch, tug-of-war, command training, puzzle toys. About: I have pet sat several different dogs, cats and bunnies. I work from home and I am able to stay and take care of animals for weeks at a time. I’ve had two family dogs of medium size and love them very much. I ensure that I will treat your animals like my own with kindness and love. I work from home so I am able to house sit and pet sit for as long as needed. As long as I have access to Wi-Fi, I will be able to stay for long periods of time. I will take dogs out on walks twice a day (morning and evening) and give them frequent potty brakes. I will ensure that water is filled and they are fed on a regular schedule. I have experience serving dogs, wet and dry food along with prescribed medication. I have one dog at home right now. Since I live with my dad, there is always someone to take care of him while i’m away. I take my dog on daily walks and feed him on a regular schedule. When he is prescribed medicine, I feed him with a treat which he enjoys.

About: I love caring for dogs. Short or long walks, playing at the park or in their yard. When they are happy it makes me happy. Feeding time or treats always on owners timeline! I am currently not working so available to be with your pet all day! Feedings, walks, whatever is needed they will feel safe and happy. I like to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I will be able to keep them on their daily schedules where they feel safe.

About: Previously owned and trained our family dog until his passing some years ago. I have birds, fish, and have been caring for family friends' dogs. I am currently willing to help, care, and walk your dogs. A great way to fill in the time as I stay home, go to school, and improve life as to looking forward to care for your dog. My dog was fed a mix of wet and dry food, water bowl always full, and daily drive/park/play/walks/hikes (regarding the weather at the current moment of time).

About: While I've lived with dogs almost my whole life, I adopted my own in 2015. She’s great with other dogs, though she guards resources, so initially she is a bit possessive. She’s happy when she can nap in peace! We also live with two cats - one is extremely curious and friendly with dogs, the other is…a cat. When your dog stays here, they’ll have opportunities to patrol the fences, manage squirrels, and bark at passers-by. They’re allowed just about everywhere in the house. We keep it pretty low-key here. Your dog will enjoy a ton of praise, along with lots of pets, scratches, and love. Please note: while my yard is fenced, it is about 4 feet high. While I have watched large dogs in the past, I cannot safely accommodate dogs that can jump the fence. I am self-employed and enjoy a very flexible schedule. I wake up early to get a good start to the day, and value an organized schedule. The dogs eat breakfast between 5-6 am. Around 8 am, I like taking the dogs for a 2-3 mile walk in the morning (depending on weather, fitness, and interest level). They also have a large yard for fetch and running around. I live within walking distance of Baldwin dog park, so dogs with lots of energy may get an extra walk and play time! We do dinner between 5-6 pm, and lights are usually out between 10-11 pm. I want to make your pet feel as comfortable and safe as I can. Your pets will have a clean, full water bowl, food on time, and an environment free of waste. I'm an expert at administering medication, as needed. If your pet needs some smooches and scratches, I have more than enough to spare. I will follow your instructions to the letter. During the summer, foxtails are a big problem in for East Bay dogs. I’m meticulous about keeping paws free of those little irritants!

About: I bring more than 20 years of professional experience in veterinary medicine and animal welfare, caring for pets and supporting the people who love them. My background includes veterinary hospital leadership and many years with the San Francisco SPCA, and I'm also Fear Free Certified. I have extensive experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs, including puppies, seniors, anxious or fearful pets, multi-pet households, medication routines, and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. My Fear Free training helps me recognize signs of fear, anxiety, and stress and adjust my approach so each pet can feel as safe and comfortable as possible. My veterinary background also means I pay attention to the little things. I'm accustomed to noticing changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, energy, or overall wellbeing and communicating concerns promptly. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. I'll treat your pets like they're my own, follow their routines closely, and make sure you get plenty of updates and photos while you're away. My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I'm available weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, daytime, and evening visits. I also understand how important consistency is for pets, so I'll do my best to keep their normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines intact while you're away. With more than 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and animal welfare and Fear Free certification, I'm very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, behaviors, ages, and needs. When caring for pets in your home, I'll follow your instructions closely and treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want someone to show mine. I'll double-check doors, gates, leashes, and other safety details, keep your pet's environment clean, and provide detailed updates and photos so you always know how things are going. I know you're trusting me with two things that matter enormously—your pet and your home—and I don't take either responsibility lightly.

About: I have always had pets including fish, cats, dogs and a chinchilla. I have pet sit 4 dogs at a time and house sat for family and friends. Over the summer I work, go to school and play sports part time, but I have a good amount of time in the morning and afternoon to check in on all animals! About: have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have been apart of the Rover community for around 2 years now. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the park or hiking where they can interact with other animals while you're away! My routine is Monday-Sunday anytime and i dont have anything that is blocking this job, I'm flexible reliable on any days if needed thank you! I will not be able to house your pets in my house due to my own pets not getting along with other dogs and cats.
