“Lauren was AMAZING!! This was my first time using Rover in years, as I typically have friends and family watch my dogs. But, we had a wedding that everyone attended. After months of trying someone that was willing to watch my anxious and reactive dogs, I got so lucky to find Lauren! She immediately eased any concern during our meet and greet, and my dogs who don’t like strangers immediately were comfortable with her. About: I have been a cat lady my whole life. Most recently, my old man cat lived to the ripe age of 19, and I hope the two I have now will stay with me just as long. I keep the litter box clean, nails clipped, and hair combed. I love their unique, silly personalities. My cats are fully recognized as members of our family. At my house, cats are people too.

About: We've used Rover many times while traveling, and now are happy to host as well. We've had dogs for the last 20 years, and before that, grew up with family dogs and cats. We view our pets as a part of the family. When your dog is staying with us, they will have daily walks and access to our enclosed yard for late night potties. If your dog likes to swim, they can also go for a swim in our pool in the summer. We allow dogs to roam and relax where they are comfortable to. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds here. I work from home 90% of the time, and my husband keeps a hybrid schedule. Therefore we are home most of the time. Your dog will always have a human and dog companion while staying with us. I work from home most of the time, while my husband keeps a hybrid schedule, which makes it easy for us to care for your pet 24/7. We live in a flat walkable neighborhood with sidewalks and street lights. We take our own dog on frequent walks, and occasionally to the dog run (like Baldwin or Newhall) or on longer hikes (like Lime Ridge). Our backyard is fenced, and so is our pool. We have a lush grass patch for pets to potty on. We have some stairs (no more than 3), but in general our home is one level. We have mostly wood floors with some carpet. Dogs are allowed on furniture and at the foot of beds here.

If your dog(s) are at our house, they'll get to run and play with our dogs, who rarely meet a dog they don't like. I'm a teacher who is gone during the day, and my wife works from home. If I'm at your house, I will leave to go teach for the day, but at our house, my wife can provide potty breaks or play time during the day. Weekends are flexible. I often dog-sit for our neighbors when they are out of town, and I give the dogs lots of love, pets, and play time. I feed them on their parents' schedules with appropriate food and medicine. For the senior dog, I lift him to be able ot go outside and potty. Whenever I'm caring for my dogs or others, I follow the instructions for those pets and give them lots of love and attention.
About: I’m a dog lover and mom. I had a Boston Terrier who passed away. She was by my side kick for 15 years. One of my most favorite things to do was come home from work and walk my dog. I walk the dogs in the morning for about 1-2 miles through the neighborhood. I walk them on my lunch again for about .5-1 mile. Then one more long walk when I get home. I feed them when we return from our morning and evening walks. Unless, there is a preferred set schedule for feeding. Your dog will be loved and cared for as if he/she is our own. We always walk on-leash. We separate the dogs during feeding times.

I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the park or hiking where they can interact with other animals while you're away! My routine is Monday-Sunday anytime and i dont have anything that is blocking this job, I'm flexible reliable on any days if needed thank you! “Lauren was AMAZING!! This was my first time using Rover in years, as I typically have friends and family watch my dogs. But, we had a wedding that everyone attended. After months of trying someone that was willing to watch my anxious and reactive dogs, I got so lucky to find Lauren! She immediately eased any concern during our meet and greet, and my dogs who don’t like strangers immediately were comfortable with her. When your dog stays with me, they'll be treated like one of my own—with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and care. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog with someone else, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup has a fun, safe, and loving stay! I’m a teacher, so I’m typically home by 3 PM on weekdays, and my husband works from home during the week.
