About: Hi! I've been a house sitter for around 8 years for family friends as well as family members. There have been various sized animals that I got to take care of, and ranged from a few weeks old to senior ages. I also have 5 dogs at my family home along with one cat and one snake. Currently, I work as an office manager at a fine jewelry store and work 5 days a week. I am looking to help families on vacation or anyone local looking for services that I can provide on my free time. I do work around 8 hour shifts and would need to verify the animal will be okay with being along for that period of time. I currently am on a schedule with family members that we all contribute to feeding the animals. I will tend to walk the dogs around four times weekly and take my cat outside for some time in the mornings. When servicing friends and families animals/homes I tend to the cleaning, medication times for pets, water plants, and make sure things are tidy.

About: Hiii I’m lucero:))! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and love being around them. I’ve had a corgi before and know my way around an energetic dog if ykyk haha. But overall I love taking care of dogs , I’m someone who deeply cares in the importance of taking care of an animal since I’ve a had a dog before and have two cats of my own right now. I now have three huskies, so taking care of dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I’m reliable, patient, and comfortable with high-energy dogs. About: I’ve owned dogs since I was 5 years old. I love pets and currently have two Guinea pigs! I’ve taken care of elder dogs, puppies, dogs with health problems, usually for friends and family. No pet is a bad fit for me :) As a PhD student, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am available when most aren’t. I can accommodate pet care into my schedule because I have the freedom to choose my hours. I always try my hardest to meet my clients expectations. “All I can say is that Leonna is a true ROCK STAR! We have two 4-year-old kitties we adopted during COVID, and since then we basically stopped traveling because we didn’t know who we could trust with our kitty girls. In 2023 we tried a cat hotel. While it was a nice place, it just wasn’t a good fit for our girls—so we hadn’t traveled since. After reading Leonna’s bio, she seemed like the perfect match. After meeting her in person, we knew she was the sitter for us. Last week, Leonna cared for our kitties while we were away. If you know cats, you know they don’t like change and ours are no different. The one I thought would adjust the easiest hissed at her the first day and went into hiding. But Leonna was patient, gentle, and did everything possible to make them feel comfortable and safe. On top of providing excellent care, she kept in daily communication with us, sending photos and videos. That was such a comfort—especially for my husband, who was initially a nervous wreck about leaving them. By the end of the trip, he couldn’t say enough about how wonderful Leonna was and how much she clearly cared for our girls. We already have another trip planned in a few weeks, and Leonna will be taking care of them again. She is truly an answer to our prayers for a compassionate, trustworthy pet sitter!”

I have had pets in the home since I was a child, including birds and hamsters as well as cats, kittens and dogs. I am currently looking for summer work, having worked as a Ski Instructor all winter in Arapahoe Basin. When housesitting, it is my principal job and priority. I do not currently offer care for a pet in my home, unless of course, they are happy living and traveling in my Class C motorhome.
