Whether it’s your pup’s first time away or their tenth, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I work from home, so pet care is part of my daily rhythm. I usually take my own two dogs for a walk early in the morning while it’s still cool. During the hotter parts of the day, they enjoy supervised time in our shaded backyard with fans and fresh water. If weather allows, we go for another walk around sunset. We also have a dog park nearby, and if time permits, I love taking them there for some extra play and sniff time. I always adjust activities based on the weather and the comfort of each dog in my care. At my home, dogs are treated like part of the family and are always kept within sight and never left alone for long. I offer a calm, clean, and climate-controlled environment where they feel safe and loved. My two senior pups are mellow and used to having doggy guests around. With plenty of open indoor space and a well-shaded backyard, I make sure each dog gets just the right balance of comfort, fresh air, and supervision—adjusted to their needs and the weather.

About: Hi there! My name’s Emma, I'm 25 years old. I’m a Dog and Cat Mama to three of my own fur babies, and work part time for the local school district. I've raised animals my whole life, and started pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors at 12, and I took care of the same animals regularly for nearly 6 years. Taking care of animals is second nature for me, and it's a fun way to help pay the bills. I do also have experience with epileptic dogs, elderly animals, and pets who need medicine regularly administered. Please feel free to message me with any questions! I have loved animals for as long as I could remember! Growing up in a smaller home, I was never able to own a dog of my own, but being obsessed with animals, I wouldn't let this stop me from being around them an gaining as much experience as I could by taking care of pets for friends and family throughout my life. Eventually I started working at a local doggy daycare/ pet boarding facility in Walnut Creek known as, North Main Pet Lodge. I have about a year's worth of experience working professionally with a multitude of different dog breeds and taking care of their daily needs. I've worked with both dogs and cats, and other small animals such as hamsters, rabbits, and such and know how to administer medication, bathe, feed, and do other tasks related to pet care. Staying flexible and knowing how to deal with all sorts of situations is something I have come to be very acquainted with through my work experience. Communication is of big importance to me and making sure all pet parents stay informed throughout their stay away from their pets. Currently I am working on my finishing my degree online and no longer need to attend classes on campus. Would be ideal for pet parents who want someone to be at the house often for daily routine, but also able to step away for up to 4 hrs at a time few days of the weekdays (usually Mon, Fri). Weekends I am almost always available all day. Almost always at home for morning, afternoon potty breaks, evening, overnight. When in a client's home, the pet's safety and health are my number one concern. With my experience, I have learned several tricks that help with a variety of temperaments and personalities that each dog has. I also believe in being respectful of my client's homes and will take that very seriously. Overall, any specific concerns or lists can be communicated to me and I will make sure to keep an open line of communication.
