“Iliana is an absolute gem! My typically anxious dog warmed to her immediately and now races out the door to greet her for their walks. Communication with Iliana is great. Her pictures are the cutest. So glad I found her!”

About: I've been a dog and cat owner since I was a child. I started taking care of my friend's dogs about 5 years ago. I would stay the night as well as visit them to let them outside. She recently got a great dane puppy that I check in on to let out and watched him for a few hours while he was being trained. I also have helped my partner's dogs, one of which is very anxious, while their family was out of town. I watched them, played with them, cuddled, and fed them. I am in community college right now, so my availability is most open on the weekends, Friday-Sunday. However, I also have afternoon availability for walks, check ins, potty breaks, and play dates during the week! I love to play with small to big dogs and cats, and I can watch them if they need to be let out. I also follow feeding instructions very specifically and dutifully. I have experience crating big dogs that are already crate trained, and I have been learning in my free time how to place train my own dogs, so I can assist in that training if needed given instruction.
“We feel very lucky to have met Chelsea. She did an excellent job caring for our Bernard. He has been very sick and we appreciate the love and care she showed him as he recovers. She is very sweet and made an extra effort to make it fun for Bernard.”

My goal is to be able to provide a safe, loved, and comfortable environment for your dog while you’re away. What sets me apart from other sitters is I’m patient and attentive. Those are aspects I really value too and will make it a priority for you:). I have open availability and able to provide weekly routines for your pet! I’m available for drop ins and pet sitting! About: I’ve always loved taking care of pets and being active with them. Whether that is going for hikes or just playing around in backyards. It makes them happy and fills my soul as well. I take care of my College Deans dog and take her for walks 3 times a week or as needed to help hike with his busy schedule. I am currently a college student with a lot of free time on my hands. I always have availability on the weekends all day and have a very flexible weekday schedule as well. I adore animals and love to see them happy and healthy. I always treat my client’s pets as my own and give them all my time and attention while they are in my care.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets throughout my childhood and into adulthood, and caring for animals has always been a natural and meaningful part of my life. Growing up, I learned the joy and responsibility that comes with having a pet — from everyday care and companionship to understanding their individual personalities and needs. Over the years, my love for animals has only grown. I truly enjoy spending time with pets, giving them attention, keeping them comfortable, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. As a lifelong pet owner and animal lover, I understand that pets are family, and I treat every pet in my care with the same patience, kindness, and affection I would want for my own. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to dedicate time and attention to the care and needs of your beloved pets. I’m able to provide the companionship, care, and consistency they deserve, while making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved in your absence. I understand how valuable and important your pets are to you, and I’m committed to treating them like family. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to create a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I follow each pet’s routine and any special instructions from their owner, while giving them plenty of attention, patience, and companionship. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big responsibility. I treat every pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own, and I want you to feel confident knowing they are in caring, responsible hands while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. But, when I acquired more responsibilities was when I moved in with my sister to SoCal and I started helping her take care of her dogs, two schnauzers and one yorkie. I would take them hiking, walking, and to the grooming salon. I would buy them enrichment toys and play with them every evening. Then, when I moved to NorCal for school, I adopted a dog, a Labrador. Now, I do the same as before but with more mental and physical exercise since my dog requires it. Taking care of dogs has always been part of me, my grandma was the same and that’s something she gifted me. I enjoy every aspect of it and the responsibilities that come with it. Dogs are a big responsibility and I will make sure to take care of your doggy, as if it’s mine. I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time to play and take care of your doggy. Currently with Hunter we go out four times a day, two times for physical exercise and potty breaks and the other two times only for walks to go potty. Hunter loves to play fetch and hide and seek. We hide the ball and he searches for it, this is his favorite game and it works for mental and physical exercise. We are very active and we exercise Hunter a lot but if your doggy is not like that, no problem, we can go only for walks and Hunter can play by himself. I have a fenced yard and a catio (patio for cats) where my cats spend most of the day. Dogs don’t have access to the catio since that’s the cats safe place. Hunter and the cats get along but my cats don’t play much with hunter, they are very lazy and only care about sleeping, sunbathing, and wet food. Hunter is VERY friendly, the nicest dog I ever known and loves to play all the time. Hunter has been around dogs of multiple sizes and ages from a 10 year old yorkie to a 2 year old labrador. Hunter is not neutered but he is not aggressive and territorial other than marking plants and trees outside at the park.
About: I currently have a dog and have had another dog previously. I currently work in special education and also support my mother who has progressing dementia. I intend on making sure needs are being met while maintaining and building relationships. I’m working full time as a teacher and going to school full-time. I currently walk my dog the morning before going to work and when I arrive home. I’m flexible on the weekends and some week days. Since I work for the school I get a lot of holidays and week breaks, so I am able to have more availability. I ensure their needs are met by taking them for walks, feeding them, and ensuring they’re using the bathroom. I also give baths to keep them smelling fresh.

Walks and playtime and snuggles are a must! I’ll make sure their food and water are filled and they’re happy!
About: 🐾Love By Pets. Recommended by humans. Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with decades of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, breeds, temperaments, and care levels. Improving the lives of animals is my passion. Every pet that enters my care is treated like family, receiving the same love, patience, respect, protection and individualized attention I would want for my own beloved pets. Whether you have a puppy, a fragile senior, a pregnant or nursing mother, a shy rescue, or a pet with medical, behavioral, or anxiety-related challenges, I provide compassionate, personalized care tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, enriching, stress-free and FUN experience that allows pets to thrive while giving their owners complete peace of mind. ✨ Experience Includes: • All ages. Puppies, kittens (bottle feeding ok 👍🏻), seniors, and hospice care • Pregnant animals and nursing mothers • Medication administration and specialized care plans • Medical, behavioral, and anxiety-related conditions • Fearful, reactive, rescue, and special-needs pets • Giant breeds (120–200+ lbs), toy breeds, and everything in between • Bully breeds, guardian breeds, working dogs, and high-drive breeds • Exotic and specialty felines • Birds, reptiles, and small animals • Multi-pet households My experience extends far beyond traditional pet sitting. I have spent years working with animal rescues and participating in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and community cat programs, helping care for and advocate for vulnerable animals. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, body language, trust-building, and how to safely handle pets with a wide range of personalities and backgrounds. I have also been honored to participate in efforts supporting families through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, including helping facilitate meaningful visits for children whose wish was to spend time with animals and pets. These experiences further strengthened my commitment to compassion, reliability, and providing comfort during life’s most meaningful moments. Caring for others—both human and animal—is at the heart of everything I do. Communication is one of my highest priorities. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication throughout your pet’s stay so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your family member is safe, happy, and loved. 💗 What Makes My Care Different? • Personalized, one-on-one attention for the duration • Flexible and accommodating scheduling • Solo daycare available upon request • Extended stays welcome • Customized routines tailored to your pet • Calm, loving, family-oriented environment • Experience with pets requiring advanced handling skills • Care from someone who genuinely loves animals and understands their individual needs Many of my clients become long-term members of my pet-care family. I’m proud to have earned the trust of repeat clients who rely on me to care for everything from tiny teacups and exotic pets to giant breeds, working dogs, bully breeds, seniors, rescues, and pets with complex medical or behavioral needs. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else is a big decision. That’s why I focus on building trust, maintaining open communication, and ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, understood, and loved from the moment they arrive. I look forward to welcoming your furry, feathered, or scaly family member and giving them the same level of care, compassion, and attention I would give my own. Because every pet deserves more than just a sitter—they deserve family. 🐾💕 My schedule revolves around pet care already. Caring for animals has been a major part of my daily life for many years through pet care/sitting/walking etc, animal rescue work, and caring for my own pets. While your pet is with me, this is their time and all of my focus and attention is on them for the duration of the booking. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, playtime, companionship, medication administration when needed, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. I strive to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. Whether your pet needs extra attention, a flexible schedule, or specialized care, I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs. Every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to each animal’s individual personality, routine, and needs. Before every booking, I take the time to learn about feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, favorite activities, fears, quirks, and any special instructions. Owner guidance and instructions are key to providing the best possible booking and any information provided will be followed closely (and greatly appreciated!). One thing that sets my care apart is that I do not use kennels or crates unless they are already part of your pet’s normal routine and you specifically request it. My goal is for pets to feel comfortable, secure, and at home—not confined unnecessarily. For families looking for a more personalized experience, I also offer accommodations such as Private Doggy Daycare, Private Kitty Daycare, Private Canine Camp, and Private Kitty Camp, where your pet can be the only guest in my care for the duration of their stay. I am always happy to discuss special requests and customize care whenever possible. Whether caring for a tiny breed, a giant breed, a working dog, a bully breed, a senior pet, or a rescue animal with unique needs, safety, comfort, and individualized attention always come first.

“I have never used a dog walk service before but was going out of town and thought it would be a nice treat for my dog who was already having someone come to feed and take him out for bathroom breaks. Vanessa did a great job and I just know my dog was so happy to have someone take him for his walks. Vanessa was professional, on time, communicative and took adorable pictures and wrote a description of each walk. She even offered to come meet Bruno the day before the walk. Thanks Vanessa! ?”

About: I have been an AKC Dog Breeder for 37 years for Great Danes and Boston Terriers. Stay at home mom except for 2 years at a Doggie Day Care, only left due to pregnancy. Extremely knowledgeable in pet 1st aid and dog socialization. Have not met a dog yet that does not like me. I have the time to play with, exercise, walk and enjoy every dog/cat in my home. All dogs will be fed separately to avoid any possible aggression. Dogs are only left outside during potty breaks and playtime, other than that they are indoors inside my home. If your dog needs to be kept separately no problem. I am am an empty-nester, pretty much always here except for running errands and doing drop-ins with a very supportive and helpful husband that is always willing to help out. I do not have a huge yard, but plenty of room to play and it is all soft artificial turf and concrete so your dog will not come home dirty. The fence is new and extremely secure. I have 2 dedicated dog rooms in my home with crates, beds, blankets and toys that they will sleep in. My dogs are extremely well socialized and love to play with new friends. I also do have a set up for dogs that like to sleep alone and be let out and have play time on their own. I do not work outside the home other than for Rover, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I can usually accommodate most scheduled drop of and pick up times. My yard is fully fenced with a NEW sturdy fence, locked gate and new artificial turf. All boarders and day care animals are treated like one of my own. Please come meet me and visit my home and see if this would be a good fit for your babies. For drop-ins they will get love, play time and anything you have requested - I do stay the entire time and possibly longer! Experience with disabled and seniors and giving oral medication and injections. Pet care is my daily routine, basically the focal point of my life. The animals in my home are my priority, loved, attended to and very well taken care of and spoiled. They are allowed on furniture and beds unless specified otherwise by the owner. All pets are treated as individuals based on their needs and their socialization skills, energy level, age and personality. My house is very clean as well as my yard - you will never find any waste in my yard. Water is changed constantly.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oakley
We hired Dawna to walk our two labs while we were gone for 5 days. She did an excellent job taking care of them, feeding them and ensuring they got their exercise. She regularly communicated with us and provided updates and photos. She also was always on time. We are very pleased with her service and our dogs took a liking to her for sure. She has dogs of her own and was in her comfort zone. I highly recommend her and we will use her again if needed. Thanks Dawna!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
