About: I used to have an auggie, which I sadly had to give away when we moved. He was very hyper and loved to play. I walked around the neighborhood with him, took him to the dog park - or played with him at home in order to tire him out. I am a college student currently taking online classes, I have plenty of time before or after class to take care of your furry companion(s) I like to make sure my own pets have a clean and comfortable environment, refilling and cleaning their food and water dishes as well as any litter. I also love to play with them and give em treats. I'll make sure to give your fur babies the same treatment!
“Jazelyn was very reliable and provided frequent updates on our fur baby’s status and how their walks went. She would send us photos and what his mood was for the day which allowed us to adjust as needed. Jazelyn was great with our doggo and would hire her again ❤️”

About: I'm a believer in blessings of a dog. I know I've got they're blessings when I feel I can understand them. Even though they can't speak but if you listen with your heart you'll hear what they're saying. Taking care of dogs comes naturally and without a doubt I will make a connection with your fur baby. You will have no worries while I take good care of your fur baby. I currently stay home and take care of my 10 year old daughter Kiara and 5 year old Norfolk terrier Dog Thomas. I have a huge back yard where your dog can play and a cozy home where your fur baby can rest and sleep. My yard is fenced to keep your dog safe inside and play all they want without any worries. I can easily crate your dog if needed or a lot of space for a bed for them to sleep in.
About: I helped my parents take care of there friends dogs since I was 8 and they've taught me a lot. Also my mom worked at Petco and worked in animal care and she told me and taught me what she's learned from her experience at work with cats and other animals. I've been currently looking for a job and havent had any luck so I have a lot of free time on my hands weekdays and weekends!! When we went to go sit my parents friends dogs we would feed them every morning and evening and then let them run around in the backyard they had a doggie door in their bedroom so for the most part the dogs had access to the bathroom to go potty and come and go as they please. But when we hung out in the living room with them since there was no access to a doggy door we would let them out around 3-4 times per day we would also walk them in the morning and sunset and feed them either before or after there walk depending on their actions and vibes

I have no restrictions when it comes to breeds and I’m more than happy to take extra time to get acquainted with your pets! Tracy always takes good care of Skipper. But this time, she went way beyond what a dog walker does. Skipper had stomach issues for a few days while we were away and Tracy provided me with detailed notes of his condition everyday. She suggested what Skipper should eat. She cleaned up his messes at my sister’s house where Skipper was staying even providing her own tools for cleaning. That’s way, way beyond my expectations. Best of all, Skipper loves his walks with Tracy and looked forward to it every morning. I am truly grateful I found Tracy and will forever remember everything she’s done for Skipper. She gives me peace of mind.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
