About: Welcome to our profile! We are Des and Treo Bell! When it comes to pet care, our combined efforts are unmatched. Des has been raising stray cats for 14 years. Treo has been working at a pet care facility for 12. Together they have adopted two dogs, a cat and a bunny, with many more to come! We know a lot of pets require 24 hour care but some pet sitters might not be unable to give that due to schedule conflict. A problem we have taken care of by offering our 2 for 1 pet sitter special! We have lots of experience with different kinds of animals and temperaments. From chickens to lizards, we have got you covered! We also have lots of experience with young pups, senior dogs, giving medications and other varying special needs! Treo is an ASL interpreter for K-12 students, so she works during the day. Des is a security guard during the evening and an accounting student. Des takes care of the pets in the day time; morning walk, breakfast, a bit of playtime. Treo is home for the evening routine; dinner and cuddles. While we don’t offer sitting in our home, we don’t let that stop us from providing the best care in yours. We make sure to respect the space and leave everything exactly as we found it.

About: I'm a believer in blessings of a dog. I know I've got they're blessings when I feel I can understand them. Even though they can't speak but if you listen with your heart you'll hear what they're saying. Taking care of dogs comes naturally and without a doubt I will make a connection with your fur baby. You will have no worries while I take good care of your fur baby. I currently stay home and take care of my 10 year old daughter Kiara and 5 year old Norfolk terrier Dog Thomas. I have a huge back yard where your dog can play and a cozy home where your fur baby can rest and sleep. My yard is fenced to keep your dog safe inside and play all they want without any worries. I can easily crate your dog if needed or a lot of space for a bed for them to sleep in.

About: I helped my parents take care of there friends dogs since I was 8 and they've taught me a lot. Also my mom worked at Petco and worked in animal care and she told me and taught me what she's learned from her experience at work with cats and other animals. I've been currently looking for a job and havent had any luck so I have a lot of free time on my hands weekdays and weekends!! When we went to go sit my parents friends dogs we would feed them every morning and evening and then let them run around in the backyard they had a doggie door in their bedroom so for the most part the dogs had access to the bathroom to go potty and come and go as they please. But when we hung out in the living room with them since there was no access to a doggy door we would let them out around 3-4 times per day we would also walk them in the morning and sunset and feed them either before or after there walk depending on their actions and vibes

About: I have experience pet sitting and caring for pets by feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they are safe and comfortable. I am responsible, dependable, and treat every pet like my own. What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, love for animals, and commitment to keeping pets happy while their owners are away. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day by feeding, cleaning up after them, and giving them attention. I make time each day to ensure pets are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Because of this, I am able to easily fit pet sitting into my weekly schedule and provide reliable care. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get exercise and playtime, and receive plenty of attention. I follow any specific instructions provided by the owner to keep pets comfortable and maintain their normal routine. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress free environment while their owners are away.

About: Hi! My name is Brianna and I'm a dog mom myself and would love to watch yours :) I’m a volunteer as a dog walker at the Antioch shelter along with the Martinez shelter on my free time. I have no restrictions when it comes to breeds and I’m more than happy to take extra time to get acquainted with your pets! I don’t have any “professional” training experience but I’ve trained many shelter dogs with basic commands like sit and lay down, and with walking on leash. I use positive reinforcement with low calorie treats to achieve this. Thank you for considering me and I hope to meet you and your pets in the near future :) I’m currently on summer break from college so I have a lot of time on my hands! My hours are flexible and I’m happy to work something out. I can provide any service you request in your home, from walking your dog to watering plants to anything you need! I’m familiar with crate training and will be sure to take caution with securing your home when I'm going in and out.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, fish, and other beloved pets — learning that every animal has their own personality, needs, and way of communicating. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and lovingly care for their pets while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, active, and genuinely loved in my care. I’m reliable, attentive, calm under pressure, and treat every pet like family. As a gentle added touch, I’m also experienced in animal reiki, which I’m happy to incorporate during visits if welcomed by both pet and owner to help encourage relaxation and comfort. Whether your pet loves playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience and reassurance, I’ll meet them where they are with love, warmth and care. I currently work part-time. I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am available most days and weekends, including most holidays. I have a fenced dog-friendly where your dog can roam and play. I have a beautiful lawn and a beautiful tree lined neighborhood for long walks.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I can remember. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their pets! I’ve also taken 2 years of Ag Chem/Bio and another 2 years of Vet Science in high school, where we learned how to do basic CPR, nail trimmings, interact with various animals, and so much more! I’m free at anytime (10am - whenever) until further notice! So I’ll have plenty of time to play/interact with your animals, weekdays and weekends if needed! Can’t wait to meet your pets!! I treat every pet and home with the same care and attention as my own. Your pet’s safety is my most top priority; I always keep doors closed, monitor feeding and bathroom breaks, and follow all instructions! I’ll also keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior and health, and will contact you immediately if anything seems off.

About: Hello! My name is Vanessa. I am an upcoming RVT looking to work with your furry friends! I can care for animals of all types as well as any age. I have experience with walking dogs, hand-feeding baby animals, essential grooming such as nail trims, bathing, brushing animals, medical administration for animals that need any medications, health monitoring, exercise and playing with your animals, keeping the litter box tidy for felines, medical knowledge for first aid and emergency procedures for animals. I am in the veterinary medical field and will care for your animal with the utmost respect! I am a full-time student in the Registered Veterinary Technician program. I am available anytime on Mondays after 1 p.m. and fully available on Tuesdays and Thursdays - Sundays. I am unavailable on Wednesdays until March 28, 2025, due to being at school until 8 pm that day. I will be caring for animals at the owner's home as I do not have adequate spacing to house multiple animals. Creating a safe environment while caring for an animal in an owner's home involves several key steps such as: Comfortable Space: Provide a cozy space for the animal with their bed, toys, and access to food and water. Regular Check-ins: Regularly check on animals to ensure they are safe, healthy, and comfortable. Follow Owner's Instructions: Adhere to the owner's guidelines regarding feeding schedules, medication administration, and specific care instructions. Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared for emergencies by having contact information for the owner and the pet's veterinarian and knowing the nearest veterinary clinic. Secure Entrances and Exits: Ensure that doors and windows are safe to prevent the animal from escaping. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the home clean by regularly cleaning up after the animals and ensuring their living area is hygienic.

About: I treat every dog like they’re my own, not just a job to get through. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and comfort so they feel safe while you’re away. I’m patient with puppies (including basic training and potty routines) and gentle with senior dogs who need a slower, more attentive approach. I keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so you always know your dog is happy and in good hands. My goal is simple: a calm, safe environment where your dog feels loved and you feel at ease. As a college student, I keep a structured schedule, which makes it easy for me to plan my days around pet care. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, and I make sure each dog gets consistent attention, walks, and playtime. Because I manage my time well, I’m able to stick closely to your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I stick to their feeding schedule, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions so the pet feels safe in their familiar environment. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and a clean space, and I’m respectful of your home while I’m there. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm environment with lots of supervision. I keep a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and play, and make sure they have a comfortable place to rest. I also pay close attention to their behavior and needs so they feel secure and cared for at all times. In both cases, I give regular updates with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I have been taking care of pets (none professional) since I was in diapers, I also currently volunteer at Antioch Animal Shelter. I have more experience with pets 1 year+ but I’m comfortable with younger pets as well. I do have another job but we get to pick our own schedules so there will be no issues there. I can work with your schedule I treat pet sitting like babysitting, your baby, your rules. Whatever you decide for your pet is what I will do no questions asked. I would never want to come into someone else’s home and change the way you do things. If there is anything I’m uncomfortable with I will be sure to communicate it effectively and immediately.

Brian (Esther's husband, they work as a pair!) was great! Always on time and very patient with my mischievous husky, even when he wanted to play tug of war with some foul smelling contents on his last scheduled walk, he washed him off, and then came back to check on him despite not needing to! I would definitely recommend!

Cindia is the best dog walker in the East Bay! Great communication and always on time. Our dog Curry gets really excited when he sees her. He’s aging and has specific ailments that she will pay attention to and make sure she gives us updates post walk. We’ve been using her for over a year now consistently and we appreciate her time! Tracy always takes good care of Skipper. But this time, she went way beyond what a dog walker does. Skipper had stomach issues for a few days while we were away and Tracy provided me with detailed notes of his condition everyday. She suggested what Skipper should eat. She cleaned up his messes at my sister’s house where Skipper was staying even providing her own tools for cleaning. That’s way, way beyond my expectations. Best of all, Skipper loves his walks with Tracy and looked forward to it every morning. I am truly grateful I found Tracy and will forever remember everything she’s done for Skipper. She gives me peace of mind.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
