About: Hello! My name is Vanessa. I am an upcoming RVT looking to work with your furry friends! I can care for animals of all types as well as any age. I have experience with walking dogs, hand-feeding baby animals, essential grooming such as nail trims, bathing, brushing animals, medical administration for animals that need any medications, health monitoring, exercise and playing with your animals, keeping the litter box tidy for felines, medical knowledge for first aid and emergency procedures for animals. I am in the veterinary medical field and will care for your animal with the utmost respect! I am a full-time student in the Registered Veterinary Technician program. I am available anytime on Mondays after 1 p.m. and fully available on Tuesdays and Thursdays - Sundays. I am unavailable on Wednesdays until March 28, 2025, due to being at school until 8 pm that day. I will be caring for animals at the owner's home as I do not have adequate spacing to house multiple animals. Creating a safe environment while caring for an animal in an owner's home involves several key steps such as: Comfortable Space: Provide a cozy space for the animal with their bed, toys, and access to food and water. Regular Check-ins: Regularly check on animals to ensure they are safe, healthy, and comfortable. Follow Owner's Instructions: Adhere to the owner's guidelines regarding feeding schedules, medication administration, and specific care instructions. Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared for emergencies by having contact information for the owner and the pet's veterinarian and knowing the nearest veterinary clinic. Secure Entrances and Exits: Ensure that doors and windows are safe to prevent the animal from escaping. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the home clean by regularly cleaning up after the animals and ensuring their living area is hygienic.
About: I helped my parents take care of there friends dogs since I was 8 and they've taught me a lot. Also my mom worked at Petco and worked in animal care and she told me and taught me what she's learned from her experience at work with cats and other animals. I've been currently looking for a job and havent had any luck so I have a lot of free time on my hands weekdays and weekends!! When we went to go sit my parents friends dogs we would feed them every morning and evening and then let them run around in the backyard they had a doggie door in their bedroom so for the most part the dogs had access to the bathroom to go potty and come and go as they please. But when we hung out in the living room with them since there was no access to a doggy door we would let them out around 3-4 times per day we would also walk them in the morning and sunset and feed them either before or after there walk depending on their actions and vibes

“Brian and Esther are phenomenal. Always on time, very reliable and excellent with communication. If you want your pups to be in the good hands, don’t look any further. Your doggies would appreciate!”
“Kristen was absolutely wonderful and I know Estrella enjoyed her walk and she was able to help me out out a moments notice so I really appreciate that and I definitely would be referring my request to her in the future”
About: I have had cats and dogs all my life and have worked as a trained cat socializer in local animal shelters. I feel every pet is unique and it's important to get to know them and help them feel safe when their parents aren't home. As a shelter volunteer, it was important for me to help cats get prepared for their new homes and be able to match the cat to the right adoption parent and environment. I am also a Reiki Master/Teacher/Healer and through energy healing, have helped many animals get well quickly. In fact, animals are among my favorite clients! My focus in being your pet sitter is to make you feel comfortable leaving your fur baby and knowing they will be well cared for by a dependable, responsible pet lover. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule. I can make myself available to match what schedule you are needing. I can do 1 or 2 visits a day or whenever you need me to be there. I will make sure your pet is a top priority. I have 4 year old cat and 2 year old cat that are indoor only. I would love to be able to have them roam outdoors, but that's not always a safe option. My space is clean, safe and comfortable for cats.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and am no stranger to the 3am zoomies or puking on the carpet, as well as making sure they actually take their medication. I’m a College student with mostly online classes so my schedule is flexible. With some planning I can make most things work. I have more available on weekdays than weekends. Unfortunately I cannot have pets in my own home but I always care for animals in the comfort of their own homes. Every little guy is different so everything I do is tailored to what I see they need.
“Camyle was sweet and gentle with my shy and rather submissive 10 year old terrier Millie, who was newly adopted the first time she walked her. Camyle is punctual, and always responds quickly to messages. She is very professional, positive in outlook and easy to deal with.”

“Angelee was so professionalism, prompt and sweet to our two dogs, Shepherd Husky Mix and Samoyed. Trustworthy and communicative, we would definitely utilize her again! ♥️ Thanks for keeping two pups very happy for a week!”

About: Welcome to our profile! We are Des and Treo Bell! When it comes to pet care, our combined efforts are unmatched. Des has been raising stray cats for 14 years. Treo has been working at a pet care facility for 12. Together they have adopted two dogs, a cat and a bunny, with many more to come! We know a lot of pets require 24 hour care but some pet sitters might not be unable to give that due to schedule conflict. A problem we have taken care of by offering our 2 for 1 pet sitter special! We have lots of experience with different kinds of animals and temperaments. From chickens to lizards, we have got you covered! We also have lots of experience with young pups, senior dogs, giving medications and other varying special needs! Treo is an ASL interpreter for K-12 students, so she works during the day. Des is a security guard during the evening and an accounting student. Des takes care of the pets in the day time; morning walk, breakfast, a bit of playtime. Treo is home for the evening routine; dinner and cuddles. While we don’t offer sitting in our home, we don’t let that stop us from providing the best care in yours. We make sure to respect the space and leave everything exactly as we found it.
About: Animals have always been a major part of my life, and I am passionate about providing safe, loving, and reliable care for every pet I meet. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats through personal ownership, volunteer work, and animal care education. I volunteered with Antioch Animal Services, where I gained experience with kennel cleaning, dog walking, cat handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals. I have also completed certifications in Animal CPR & First Aid and Animal Care Assistant through Alison Academy, and I am currently continuing my education in animal care and dog grooming. As someone pursuing a future career working with animals, I understand the importance of patience, observation, and following instructions carefully. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, companionship, feeding, medication reminders, or extra attention while you're away, I will treat them with the same care and respect that I give my own pets. I also provide regular photo updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every week. I am available on weekends for dog walking, drop-in visits, and daycare. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I do my best to keep their schedule consistent while providing plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure owners receive regular updates and photos while they're away! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner's instructions carefully regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules. I pay close attention to each pet's behavior and needs to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I also understand that every animal is different, some pets love to play while others prefer a calm environment, and I adjust my care accordingly. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and plenty of updates while your pet is in my care!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
