About: I have been taking care of pets (none professional) since I was in diapers, I also currently volunteer at Antioch Animal Shelter. I have more experience with pets 1 year+ but I’m comfortable with younger pets as well. I do have another job but we get to pick our own schedules so there will be no issues there. I can work with your schedule I treat pet sitting like babysitting, your baby, your rules. Whatever you decide for your pet is what I will do no questions asked. I would never want to come into someone else’s home and change the way you do things. If there is anything I’m uncomfortable with I will be sure to communicate it effectively and immediately.
About: I am a caring, responsible, and patient pet sitter who treats every pet like family. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and my ability to follow each pet’s normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I take time to build trust and make sure they receive the love, care, and attention they need. I am comfortable caring for pets of different ages, including young pets who need patience and guidance, as well as senior pets who may need extra gentle care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy spending time with animals. I am available for regular walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I can follow the pet owner’s schedule and make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. Safety, trust & environment How do you care for pets in your home and/or your client's home? This will vary depending on which service you offer.
“Excellent service! Was able to enjoy my vacation stress free! I was updated everyday including photos. Dana has such a caring attitude that really made me feel at ease that my pets were well taken care of. I would definitely use her again and highly recommended her!”

“We’ve booked with Wendy and Daniela multiple times, and the consistency has been excellent. Always punctual, very caring with our dogs, and great about clarifying any procedures or instructions. We really appreciate the consistent updates it makes it easy to relax while we’re away. We’ll continue to book without hesitation”

About: I had a chihuahua for 11 years and have been around pets for my whole life. Always willing to learn and grow with new experiences. Becoming a full-time college student soon but I will make time for your amazing pets! I will communicate with you if there are any schedule conflicts to address. I have a big fenced yard and plenty of room for your pet to roam and play. I do not have any other pets so that shouldn’t be a problem.
“Our 13yr old sweet girl Pretty suffered an injury which put her in a cast. My mom is 83 and cant lift her to go to the bathroom so we need to get help. While we were so nervous to have anyone else other than us watch our pup, we found Cindia on Rover and picked her to help our pup and gma. She is so nice and took the effort to make our pup comfortable with her. She also gives her brother, Ozzy snacks! We are so very lucky to have found her. She fills out her Rover card diligently and send updates with every visit. So happy to have her help.”

“I couldn’t be happier with how the drop in visit went! Paulo was fantastic from start to finish. They arrived right on time and made sure my dog was comfortable, fed, and had plenty of attention and love. I received detailed updates and adorable photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear they genuinely care about animals and treat them like their own. My dog looked so happy and relaxed when I got home, which says it all. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, fish, and other beloved pets — learning that every animal has their own personality, needs, and way of communicating. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and lovingly care for their pets while they’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, active, and genuinely loved in my care. I’m reliable, attentive, calm under pressure, and treat every pet like family. As a gentle added touch, I’m also experienced in animal reiki, which I’m happy to incorporate during visits if welcomed by both pet and owner to help encourage relaxation and comfort. Whether your pet loves playtime, quiet companionship, or extra patience and reassurance, I’ll meet them where they are with love, warmth and care. I currently work part-time. I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am available most days and weekends, including most holidays. I have a fenced dog-friendly where your dog can roam and play. I have a beautiful lawn and a beautiful tree lined neighborhood for long walks.
About: I'm a believer in blessings of a dog. I know I've got they're blessings when I feel I can understand them. Even though they can't speak but if you listen with your heart you'll hear what they're saying. Taking care of dogs comes naturally and without a doubt I will make a connection with your fur baby. You will have no worries while I take good care of your fur baby. I currently stay home and take care of my 10 year old daughter Kiara and 5 year old Norfolk terrier Dog Thomas. I have a huge back yard where your dog can play and a cozy home where your fur baby can rest and sleep. My yard is fenced to keep your dog safe inside and play all they want without any worries. I can easily crate your dog if needed or a lot of space for a bed for them to sleep in.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 12 years and have experience with both senior dogs and energetic pups. I have a 15-year-old dog who is blind but very healthy and confident, so I’m especially mindful of safety, routines, and gentle guidance. I also help care for a 2-year-old Jack Russell mix who needed consistent training and structure. Working with him every day has taught me a lot about leash manners, patience, and managing higher energy dogs. I love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I work in a school setting Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. I’m available for pet care after work on weekdays, including afternoons and evenings. I’m fully available on weekends and have more flexibility during school breaks and holidays. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to plan ahead to meet your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time, and I can crate pets as needed. I have crates available, including sizes suitable for large dogs. I closely monitor all pets in my care and make sure their daily needs are met, including fresh water, feeding routines, medications, and attention throughout the day. I keep a first aid kit on hand for minor scrapes or injuries and always have the contact information and address for the nearest emergency veterinary clinic if needed. All potentially harmful items are securely stored and out of reach. My own pets are friendly, calm, and well-socialized, helping create a safe and welcoming environment.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Antioch
Dana did an amazing job taking care of our kitties! They warmed up to her super quick and she gave them plenty of attention. She was able to take care of our cats with medical problems as well and did a great job. She was very responsive and provided daily updates with photos. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her in the future!

Absolutely amazing!! She did everything that was asked of her, including handling my baby’s post-surgery care with so much attention and compassion. Being away at a wedding, we felt completely comfortable knowing our babies were in such great hands. She kept us updated throughout each visit, sent lots of pictures, and gave us so much peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust her with our pups again! 🐾🤍

Absolutely amazing. Will use and recommend for everyone going forward. Showed up on time, super friendly, kept up to date on everything, and photos every check in! Havok loved them! We asked if they could help with something else small while checking on him, and they went above and beyond for that as well. Thank you Wendy and Daniela!!

If there was a way for me to give her 10 stars I would have done it right away . Rover is one of my very first experience hiring a professional pet sitter and it required a lot of if ands and butts before I picked Jazz but I was so glad that I did . The biggest thing for me was to trust someone with your whole home handing them the keys and hope for the best. I was going out of country for a full week and she was going to be my only resource to take care of my beloved cat . When I met Jazz for the very first time, there was a light of calm , kindness and professionalism that gave me a sigh of relief that said I know you are gonna be great and I’m not worried about it . She was kind very sweet asked questions and took away that weird feeling of meeting a stranger the very first time . She was punctual and did everything she could to not only take care of my very moody kitty but also sending pics to keep me at ease three continents away. I knew I had nothing to worry about ! I have found the best cat sitter I could ever hope for and I hope she accepts my request anytime I’m in need of pet care ! A+++ a true superstar!!!! Thank you jazz you are the best!!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
