“Anton was very attentive to our dogs. Sent photos everyday and checked in with me, as well. He was friendly, warm and his home is secure. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with him and would recommend him.”

“Pratik and his wife Grishma we’re absolutely fantastic ! They had great communication with me and responded quickly. While I was on my trip, they sent me lots of photos and videos of my dog. I truly felt at peace, knowing my dog was well cared for and having such a great time playing with the other dogs. My dog can’t wait to go back ! Thank you!! ❤️”

“If I can give Sujit 10 stars I would! They treated ginger as their own. We are very happy as well as ginger! Reasonable pricing that includes walking! Ginger will definitely be back!”

“Shirley was amazing, she constantly sent pictures of daisy so i would be comfortable. She also gave her a bath. I will definitely use Shirley when ever i go out of town!”

“Yulan & Gao are the best host ever, they take care our 16 years old dog as a kid, really nice and patient. They send me pictures and videos several times each day, tell me all the things about eating, bathing, playing and sleeping. Yulan & GAO’s house large and clean, backyard is huge big and beautiful, our dog had a great vacation there. Thank you Yulan & GAO!”

“Sheila was so wonderful with my baby girl Kins while I was abroad for 2 weeks. Great communication as always. I felt comfortable and safe that Kins was in excellent care while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Sheila! 💕”

“Dipankar & Nagma watched our fur baby when we took our roadtrip to Disneyland. They were great with communication and Gojo was very comfortable and happy with them. When we got back to pick him up he tried to go back inside when Nagma went back in to grab his bag. I think that’s a 4 paws up from Gojo. We will definitely use them again and feel comfortable leaving him for a longer vacation next time.”

“Stefanile is a great sitter. She was incredibly accommodating and patient in dealing with my dog—a rather shy, introverted, and somewhat challenging dog. Given her deep understanding of canine personalities and traits, as well as her extensive experience as a sitter, I was able to entrust Chaco to her care with peace of mind. She sent updates and photos, making communication very easy. Thank you!”

“My boyfriend and I were planning a trip and needed a sitter, but I was extremely hesitant about leaving our 15-month-old puppy, Camila, for the first time—we even considered canceling. I’m so glad we didn’t and that we found Allison! Allison is truly wonderful. We were able to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which immediately put me at ease and reassured me that Camila would be in great hands. Allison was kind, welcoming, and incredibly responsive to all of my questions and concerns both before our trip and while we were away. She was also very flexible and accommodating with pick-up and drop-off times. Her setup is amazing—she has a fully fenced front yard, a fully fenced backyard, and indoor space, which gave Camila plenty of options to play with other dogs or relax on her own. Receiving regular pictures and videos of Camila was such a comfort and made our trip even more enjoyable. Knowing Allison was taking such great care of Camila gave me complete peace of mind.”

“My 2 dogs spent the weekend with Biswas. He was great at communicating and keeping us informed on how they were doing. He sent pictures, videos and updates. He was also flexible with drop off and pick up times which we appreciated. We would definitely use him again to care for our pups.”

“Rachelle is amazing! She is super responsive and made everything easy, from setting up a meet and greet to taking care of my dog. Since I’ve never used Rover before, I was a bit nervous, but Rachelle made me feel comfortable right away. You can really tell she loves animals; my dog just warmed up to her! While we were away, she sent us pictures so we could see how our pup was doing, which was great for keeping us updated. I would definitely recommend her for any boarding or daycare needs and will book her again!”

“Yena is incredible. She takes care of our dog every time we are out of town. She sends regular text and video updates throughout the day and responds to all inquiries quickly. The last time she dog sat for us she gave our dog medication, too. He is always very tired and happy leaving her place!”

“Gil and Cheridyn once again took very good care of our pup. We are always given updates on how our Eevee is doing, took her for walks and given her a lot of time to have playtime with other dogs. They are very easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks again for taking care of Eevee for a week. She had so much fun.”

“Anu is Great! I was searching and so scared to leave my baby Girl with anyone, but Anu made it easy. I loved that she only takes 1 dog at a time and she was very flexible with my date changes and times.🫶 We Picked up Mercedes at the end of our trip & she was Happy”

“Peter and Sarah were absolutely incredible with our 9 month old Scout! He stayed with them for 10 days while our house went on the market and we had showings. They sent pictures and video updates and were always keeping me in the loop on how he was getting along with their other dogs! This was like going to the dog park for 10 days for our boy and he loved it! I would book them again in a heartbeat if we weren't moving out of the area!”

About: From a friend I adopted Spooky, a black Halloween cat, more than thirty years ago. He slept curled against me every night for the rest of his long life. After my wife and I bought our first home together, we became a dog household and adopted Roxy from a local shelter, a shepherd husky mix. She stayed with us through her senior years. Since then, we've trained three doodle puppies and rescued Tiffany, a breeder mama. We cared for her all the way through her struggle with lymphoma. My schedule is rather flexible for Rover clients around gardening and practicing vocal music for my community choir. You get a substitute Pet Papa for your best friend, and I get to spend time with dogs and cats, while I earn a little extra income for gardening supplies and paining classes. It’s a Win-Win. Drop in visits for dogs and cats to feed, water and exercise. I can also give oral medications. Only one dog at a time for boarding and day care. Our three friendly doodles welcome your best friend to enjoy pack hospitality in our large, dog safe yard and home. Located in a quiet gated community. I’m happy to pickup and return your friend within ten miles. Rabbits and squirrels visit from nearby open space, so current vaccinations should include Leptospirosis.
“We’re so thankful to Tracey for taking care of Ginger while we were away. It honestly made our trip so much more relaxing knowing Ginger was with someone so kind and caring. When we got back, Ginger was happy, comfortable, and clearly well loved. You can really tell Tracey treated her like her own. We appreciate her so much and would absolutely book with her again anytime 🐾💛”

“Flynn had great time at Sameer's place starting with the first meeting to coming back home. Sameer was very thorough with all the details and sent great pictures through out his stay.”

Anton is awesome! Kiki stayed in a safe, secure, and clean home. The option to have her isolated from other dogs is very reassuring. She still received lots of love and affection during her stay. I would get photo and video updates frequently and I had nothing to worry about. Anton is very tentative while your pet is in his care. Kiki found a second home, look forward to bringing her back.

Joel was great! He was very flexible with regard to drop off and pick up times. When we took the dogs over to meet Joel, the dogs took to him immediately. Joel continuously kept us updated on how the dogs were doing and sent us pictures! We appreciate the care he provided for our dogs. I would definitely have our dogs stay with him again in the future.
I’ve already booked with Joanne twice, and she’s been wonderful both times. She took care of Zoe like she was part of her own pack, which gave me so much peace of mind. Joanne is very communicative, kind, and clearly loves the dogs she cares for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pup.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
