“It was the absolute best experience. Cristal was constantly communicating to give us updates on our pup and what his day looked like. We got pictures every day to see him playing and napping which brought us so much peace of mind. On top of that she was so sweet and gave our dog her own treats because I forgot to pack some for him. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would do so in a heart beat. I don’t think I would feel confortable boarding my pup anywhere else.”

“Thank you once again for your great service in taking good care of our fur baby while we were out of town. Till next time. And we are so touched of your wife’s thoughtfulness creating a ref magnet of Zooco’s photo! That was nice of her. Again, thank you 😊”

“Our dogs were very well cared for! They seemed to enjoy their time away from home and did great! We got daily updates and videos which was wonderful and made our trip so much easier knowing they were well cared for! We are so grateful to Anton for keeping our babies happy and well while we were away.”

“Yulan and Gaochuan are real animal lovers and their house is designed to be really dog friendly. They took really good care of our dog Noodle and even accommodated her when she started waking up at 5.30 am. They took her on two walks a day to get exercise and Noodle had fun interacting with their pet birds.”

“Cooper was genuinely cared for and very well taken care of by Rachana and her family! We were at peace due to regular and detailed updates about his settling in phase. Being an anxious pup, Cooper needs a considerable amount of patience and love to feel at home and he seemed to feel at ease very soon at Rachana’s place. Their pup is super friendly too and was great company for Cooper during his stay! Thank you for your care and affection towards Cooper!”

“We found Anu after finding out our current dog sitter moved away. She took our dog in last minute and we were able to go on our trip feeling confident our dog will be taken care of. She is flexible with drop off and pick up times and replied to our messages quickly. She updated us daily on how our dog is doing by sending us pictures and videos. She was gentle and patient with our dog, even when he was a little anxious. He was happy and healthy when we picked him up. I would highly recommend contacting Anu for your dog sitting needs.”

“We are SO appreciative of Tracey for taking our last minute requests to watch our Boogie boy. Both of his stays have been amazing and he comes a happy guy! We love that our pup has a sweet companion like Bentley (Tracey’s dog) when he stays who appears to share all his toys, treats and his family’s love and attention. Being able to relax and not stress when away, knowing Boogie is in good hands, is priceless ! We hope to continue to use her services again and again in the future.”

“For my first time using Rover. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter for my dog. Punam was amazing. She made boarding very easy. Extremely responsive to my questions and provided daily pictures and video updates throughout the stay. My dog had a great time and made friends with her dog Kaaji. I would happily rebook with Punam.”

“Dipankar and Nagma were the most wonderful and caring hosts. They took time to understand my dog's needs and communicated daily with pictures and updates. They reliably attended to his medications and even worked on training my young dog to reinforce the commands he was in the process of learning. They have a wonderful and friendly dog of their own who served as an excellent playmate. My dog had clearly bonded with their family by the time I picked him up. I missed my dog very much, but was fully confident that he was in good hands with Dipankar and Nagma.”

About: From a friend I adopted Spooky, a black Halloween cat, more than thirty years ago. He slept curled against me every night for the rest of his long life. After my wife and I bought our first home together, we became a dog household and adopted Roxy from a local shelter, a shepherd husky mix. She stayed with us through her senior years. Since then, we've trained three doodle puppies and rescued Tiffany, a breeder mama. We cared for her all the way through her struggle with lymphoma. My schedule is rather flexible for Rover clients around gardening and practicing vocal music for my community choir. You get a substitute Pet Papa for your best friend, and I get to spend time with dogs and cats, while I earn a little extra income for gardening supplies and paining classes. It’s a Win-Win. Drop in visits for dogs and cats to feed, water and exercise. I can also give oral medications. Only one dog at a time for boarding and day care. Our three friendly doodles welcome your best friend to enjoy pack hospitality in our large, dog safe yard and home. Located in a quiet gated community. I’m happy to pickup and return your friend within ten miles. Rabbits and squirrels visit from nearby open space, so current vaccinations should include Leptospirosis.
“Starlee is always nervous with new people and animals. I can tell Natalie cares a lot and did a great job making her feel comfortable. When I came to pick her up she was a lot more relaxed and happy. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Merilu took wonderful care of our dog. She kept us updated regularly with pictures. This was my first time using Rover and Mercury helped me trust others with the care of our pooch. We have already booked her for a second visit. Thank you!”

“We felt very comfortable with leaving our dog, Luna, with Lauren and Mike for the week. We knew she would be well taken care of. Luna is a lab puppy and has lots of energy, so it is great that she has Roxy to play with.”

“Shuting and her family were great with our dog, she stayed for 2 weeks and when we picked her up she looked happy and healthy. And they even went above and beyond and gave her a (probably much needed with the rain and running) bath. We would have her stay again if needed :).”

“My boyfriend and I were planning a trip and needed a sitter, but I was extremely hesitant about leaving our 15-month-old puppy, Camila, for the first time—we even considered canceling. I’m so glad we didn’t and that we found Allison! Allison is truly wonderful. We were able to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which immediately put me at ease and reassured me that Camila would be in great hands. Allison was kind, welcoming, and incredibly responsive to all of my questions and concerns both before our trip and while we were away. She was also very flexible and accommodating with pick-up and drop-off times. Her setup is amazing—she has a fully fenced front yard, a fully fenced backyard, and indoor space, which gave Camila plenty of options to play with other dogs or relax on her own. Receiving regular pictures and videos of Camila was such a comfort and made our trip even more enjoyable. Knowing Allison was taking such great care of Camila gave me complete peace of mind.”

“Bonnie was very sweet and accommodating for our last minute request! My dog had a great time, you could tell he was very comfortable with her family. she kept us up to date with pictures and messages and I really appreciate that! We will book again, thanks Bonnie!”
“Our dogs came back super calm and content after their stay with Peter and his family and dogs. I appreciated coordinating pick up and drop offs as well as getting pictures and updates throughout the stay! We look forward to using them on our next trips.”

“Our vacation is over & we had a wonderful time without having to worry about our American bulldog Lucy!! We knew when we left her with Peter that she was in excellent hands. She had other doggy playmates & had a wondeful time playing with them & Peter assured us when we picked her up that they enjoyed her very much & that all went well! I cannot tell you how much it meant to us to be able to leave Lucy in such good hands with people who obviously love animals and treat them so lovingly! We will definitely be using DogVacay in the future & Peter will be our first choice! Thank you again Peter for an excellent job well done!! P&M”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brentwood
Tracey was absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our dog with a pet sitter, but she made us feel completely comfortable from the start. We did a meet and greet beforehand, which really put our minds at ease. While we were away, she sent us updates with pictures. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend her!

Marc did a great job watching our dog, Kingsley. He was very communicative throughout the stay, sent us regular updates and great pictures, and clearly took excellent care of our boy. Kingsley seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned. We really appreciated the peace of mind Marc provided while we were away. We would definitely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Dipankar and Nagma have been wonderful! They consistently keep me updated with messages and pictures. I can trust that my dog is in good hands. I’m also glad that their dog gets along so good with mine and they end up playing together all day. I would recommend them for all services.

My large puppy enjoys coming to stay here so much! She always comes home smelling so fresh and so clean, but also so relaxed and content. When I brought my dog for drop-off this last time, she immediately went bounding off like "okay I'm going to play now, bye mom!" Knowing that my dog feels so safe and happy really puts my mind at ease. Thank you so much for the care you provide. ♥️🙏

Natalie was absolutely wonderful with Audie! From the meet & greet through drop-off, her communication was top-notch: she sent regular photo and video updates that made it so easy to relax and enjoy our trip knowing he was in great hands. Audie has separation anxiety, but settled in quickly and didn’t howl, which says a lot about how comfortable she made him feel. She handled his dinner meds and evening supplements without missing a beat, and clearly gave him plenty of playtime and attention in her backyard. When our flights got us home very late, Natalie generously offered to keep him one more night rather than do a late drop-off, which was such a thoughtful call and exactly the kind of judgment you want from someone caring for your dog. He came home happy, well-loved, and clearly had a great time. We’d book her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Natalie!

Joel was great! He was very flexible with regard to drop off and pick up times. When we took the dogs over to meet Joel, the dogs took to him immediately. Joel continuously kept us updated on how the dogs were doing and sent us pictures! We appreciate the care he provided for our dogs. I would definitely have our dogs stay with him again in the future.
Anu took care of my 5 month old Basset Hound for 3 nights. My puppy is very shy and nervous around strangers, and Anu was awesome at making her feel safe and secure very quickly. She sent pictures, videos, and updates everyday so I could see how happy and comfortable she was. Anu was great with communication & was absolutely wonderful and caring with my puppy. We will definitely be a repeat customer for boarding and would recommend her to others!

I can’t say enough about the exceptional care my dog, Meiko, received this past week. From the very beginning, Jagruti treated him like a member of her own family. I received regular updates with photos and videos, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Meiko was not only well cared for but truly loved. I came home to a happy, relaxed dog who clearly enjoyed his time. I’m so grateful for the genuine care, attention, and affection he received—absolutely above and beyond. Highly recommend!
