“We left our beloved Buddy (a 9 years Weimaraner) with Peter for three weeks while we traveled abroad, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal he was. This was the first time we’d ever been apart from our boy for so long, but from the very beginning we felt at ease. Peter has such wonderful energy. You can feel it immediately, and so can the dogs. When he first picked Buddy up, our pup was elated, as if he had known Peter forever, even though he had only stayed one night before as a trial. Buddy hopped into Peter’s car with pure joy and never looked back, which gave us so much peace of mind. When Peter brought Buddy back, our dog was thrilled to see us, of course :) but what struck us most was how happy and comfortable he was around Peter too. As a dog parent, that is the best reaction I could ever hope for: knowing my boy felt loved, safe, and genuinely happy while we were away. Peter and his dog, Phoe, are truly the best companions you could ever want for your pup. About: From a friend I adopted Spooky, a black Halloween cat, more than thirty years ago. He slept curled against me every night for the rest of his long life. After my wife and I bought our first home together, we became a dog household and adopted Roxy from a local shelter, a shepherd husky mix. She stayed with us through her senior years. Since then, we've trained three doodle puppies and rescued Tiffany, a breeder mama. We cared for her all the way through her struggle with lymphoma. My schedule is rather flexible for Rover clients around gardening and practicing vocal music for my community choir. You get a substitute Pet Papa for your best friend, and I get to spend time with dogs and cats, while I earn a little extra income for gardening supplies and paining classes. It’s a Win-Win. Drop in visits for dogs and cats to feed, water and exercise. I can also give oral medications. Only one dog at a time for boarding and day care. About: I've lived with animals ever since I was a baby, but I've been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, I am now19! I'm currently going to school to be a veterinarian so taking care of fur babies helps me stay motivated on my long journey. Right now my college is on summer break! So I'm free until night/evening time, when my team has practice for two hours, but other than that, I really don't do anything. Your fur babies will have my undivided attention! When I enter your home and meet your fur baby(ies) for the first time, I will give them the time and space they need to adjust to me. “We left our beloved Buddy (a 9 years Weimaraner) with Peter for three weeks while we traveled abroad, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal he was. This was the first time we’d ever been apart from our boy for so long, but from the very beginning we felt at ease. Peter has such wonderful energy. You can feel it immediately, and so can the dogs. When he first picked Buddy up, our pup was elated, as if he had known Peter forever, even though he had only stayed one night before as a trial. Buddy hopped into Peter’s car with pure joy and never looked back, which gave us so much peace of mind. When Peter brought Buddy back, our dog was thrilled to see us, of course :) but what struck us most was how happy and comfortable he was around Peter too. As a dog parent, that is the best reaction I could ever hope for: knowing my boy felt loved, safe, and genuinely happy while we were away. Peter and his dog, Phoe, are truly the best companions you could ever want for your pup.
