“Sally was very attentive to my dog Anyma. Anyma hasn’t been boarded in a very long time. He’s only 1.5yrs old. He’s a sheltie and they tend to get anxious easily, not wanting to be separated by their owners. But Anyma was comfortably situated in her home with multiple dogs. Anyma is normally a cautious dog and a barker but he got a long with everyone there. I left him for about two weeks, there were no issues. Sally makes you feel at east, she has experiences with her own dogs and has a huge yard for the dogs to run freely around. Thank you Sally for watching over my dog! Would highly recommend and def will book her again.”

I walk them twice a day and take them to the dog park. My yard is fenced in, and my gates are locked with a padlock. My dogs have a doggie door so that they can come in or out of the house.

About: Hi, I'm Lauren and I'd love to watch your dog! My husband and I live together in Concord with our 2.5 year old and 12 year old dog named Lenny. Lenny is a cocker spaniel/poodle mix. He is very friendly to people and dogs. My husband and I both work from home. In my spare time, I volunteer at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. Our daughter is pretty respectful of dogs...but she is also 2.5. We'd ask that your dog have been around small children before. Your dog can hang out wherever s/he'd like in our place. Our house has no stairs and a backyard. I only watch one dog per stay (however, if you have two dogs in your family I am OK with watching them together!). I only do Rover on days I know we will be home, so your furry friend will only be left unattended for very short periods of time (max 1 hour), unless previously agreed upon otherwise. I have a car for transport, so let me know if you'd like me to do drop off/pick up (extra charge). Since I plan to be home watching your dog, I can take him/her out to do their business as many times as you feel is fit for them. I'm looking forward to providing a wonderful experience for your pup! **I require a quick meet and greet before committing to a stay (not required for previous clients of course!). My husband and I both work from home and already have a dog. We are pretty flexible on when we can take your pup out, feeding, etc. We plan to be home for most of the time your pet is here. If we do need to step out, we can coordinate the best way your dog will be most comfortable. Our yard is completely fenced and we don't have stairs.

About: I bring more than 20 years of professional experience in veterinary medicine and animal welfare, caring for pets and supporting the people who love them. My background includes veterinary hospital leadership and many years with the San Francisco SPCA, and I'm also Fear Free Certified. I have extensive experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs, including puppies, seniors, anxious or fearful pets, multi-pet households, medication routines, and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. My Fear Free training helps me recognize signs of fear, anxiety, and stress and adjust my approach so each pet can feel as safe and comfortable as possible. My veterinary background also means I pay attention to the little things. I'm accustomed to noticing changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, energy, or overall wellbeing and communicating concerns promptly. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. I'll treat your pets like they're my own, follow their routines closely, and make sure you get plenty of updates and photos while you're away. My schedule is currently very flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I'm available weekdays and weekends and can accommodate morning, daytime, and evening visits. I also understand how important consistency is for pets, so I'll do my best to keep their normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines intact while you're away.
