About: Cats have a special place in my heart. When taking neighborhood walks, I'll stop for any cat that wants a pet. My friends call me the cat whisperer because I can get even the most shy cat to warm up to me. I've had cats since I was 7 years old and currently have a fluffy tuxedo whose litter box is cleaned daily and who gets brushed, fed, and played with every day.

“Stefanie was the best choice for our little Sesame. He’s a very people-focused kitten, so we were a little anxious leaving him with someone else, but we immediately knew he would be in good hands. Stefanie made sure she was aware of all his habits, feeding preferences, etc. and sent us photos throughout his stay. She really put our minds at ease and we couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Kind, caring, experienced, and dependable. I felt comfortable with Caitlin caring for our fur babies for the first time. We'll be asking her to care for them again in the future.”

About: I've taken care of cats and even helped train them since I was a toddler. I absolutely love caring for cats. I’m very patient and gentle, and I give them time to warm up at their own pace. I’m often told, “They never come out for people,” or “How did you get them to play? They’re usually so shy!” I truly enjoy getting to know each cat’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable, curious, and secure while you’re away.
About: I have loved animals since I first learned what an animal was and 27 years into life I haven't stopped! I have 7+ years of dog/cat/house sitting experience and I can administer medications if needed, along with taking care of other typical pet sitting tasks such as feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and of course, offering lots of affection and pets! Currently I’m in school (mostly online) for pre vet-med and working just as a pet sitter so I have plenty of free time to watch over your fur babies! :) I am always willing to personalize my services to best conform to your pets' medical, physical, and emotional well-being, just let me know what specific needs your pet(s) have and I will cater to them!
About: Previously owned and trained our family dog until his passing some years ago. I have birds, fish, and have been caring for family friends' dogs. I am currently willing to help, care, and walk your dogs. A great way to fill in the time as I stay home, go to school, and improve life as to looking forward to care for your dog. My dog was fed a mix of wet and dry food, water bowl always full, and daily drive/park/play/walks/hikes (regarding the weather at the current moment of time).

“Megan is an incredible pet sitter! Extremely attentive, thoughtful, reliable, communicative, and always goes the extra mile for your furry loved one. Highly recommend her!”

“If you are looking for an AMAZING pet sitter, BOOK ELIZABETH NOW. She did an excellent job taking care of our cats and fish. She was very communicative and an excellent pet sitter. She was calm when there was an issue with our pond and handled an unusual request to scoop fish food out of the pond so patiently. Our cat who is scared of EVERYONE came out of hiding and even at the end followed her room to room. She was able to give that cat his ear drops and even wiped his eyes! I could keep going on and on about how amazing of a pet sitter she is and I would 100% book her again.”

About: I have had pets my entire life. I raised my two (now adult) children surrounded by animals including multiple dogs, cats, chickens, goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, geckos, etc... This is the first time in my life that I do not have a furry or feathered friend to care for, as my fiancee and I are still getting settled in our home. This is a perfect way for me to get my animal fix and love on your doggies who will get my full attention. I'm a part time college art student with a pretty flexible schedule. I am home most of the time. My fiancee also works from home. I have a fenced back yard and walking trails right by my home. My home has plenty of space for a crate or any other accommodations your pet might need. I do not currently have any pets of my own, so your babies will get my full attention.

“First time at Connie’s place was a good one. Teddy enjoyed the large back yard. Connie assured us with several photos of him playing. We will be returning for overnight boarding soon!”

“We had a great experience with Stefanie! She was extremely professional, responsive, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Our Shiba Inu, Arashi, can be a challenging breed, but she handled him with ease and confidence, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Her home is very well set up for dog care, whether for daytime stays or overnight boarding. Everything felt safe, organized, and thoughtful. We really appreciated her communication throughout and would absolutely trust her with Arashi again. Highly recommend!”

“Our frenchie spent an exciting day with Vanson’s dogs. He loves to run around and that’s exactly what he did. Vanson sent photos and a video of Bentley having fun. This was Bentley’s first stay with Vanson and it was a success.”

“Thank you for taking good care of Megatron, she sits on our laps alot at home so it’s great to know she’s comfortable at her day care and was able to do the same. Will rebook soon.”

“Justine is nothing short of amazing! We were looking for someone who could handle the puppy energy of our sweet, 8 month-old Shih Tzu, and Justine and Bodi fit the bill. After a couple initial visits at their house, we brought Ollie over for a full day, and he absolutely LOVED it. Justine is fantastic. She’s professional, super responsive, and is just generally warm and kind. She understood our anxieties around the touchy nature of socializing a puppy, and she handled it all with grace and ease. We feel so lucky to have Justine as an invaluable resource not just for us, but for Ollie, too. Thanks so much!”

About: Hi there! Welcome to my page! I moved to the Bay Area 3 years ago from Sacramento & I currently live in the East Bay. I had a male Persian cat named Blue and a female chihuahua named Cheese who recently passed away. I adopted a doodle 3 years ago named Honey who is such a joy! Growing up I had a German Shepherd, Doberman, Beagle, Mini American Eskimo & cats so I’ve been around a lot of different dogs & cats. I love hiking, traveling & trying new restaurants (especially since everything is so dog friendly here!). I’m mainly interested in Rover for fun because I love animals so much. I can’t wait to meet everyone’s fur babies & explore the Bay Area more! Please feel free to reach out to me anytime if you ever have questions. Thank you! I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’d love to get out and play with your pets! I have a very flexible schedule so whenever you need me, I’ll be there! When visiting someone’s home, I like to follow the fur babies lead. First things first, potty. Then, are they hungry? Do they want to play? What about cuddles? And of coarse, a walk if they’re up for it!
About: I have several years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, seniors, shy or anxious dogs, and high‑energy breeds, as well as those requiring extra medical care. I am comfortable administering medications, following specific routines, and providing attentive, personalized care for each dog. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and energy levels, and I’m always mindful of subtle signs of stress or discomfort. For nervous or sensitive dogs, I take a calm and patient approach, allowing them to feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I tailor care to match their personality and routine. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where your dog is treated like family and feels right at home. I am available for dog boarding on both weekdays and weekends, offering flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Whether it’s a short stay or an extended visit, I ensure consistent care, attention, and a comfortable routine for your pup throughout their stay. I make sure every pet feels relaxed, cared for, and treated like family. I closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and special care instructions. Safety, trust, cleanliness, and plenty of attention are always my top priorities.

We live in downtown Benicia, in a dog friendly and very walkable neighborhood.
“Shadow loved his daycare visits with Neela & family. Neela was able to take us very last-minute for three days of day visits. Neela's house was clean and safe, and we were able to work together on drop-off and pick-up times. Thank you for taking such great care of Shadow!”

About: I grew up as the daughter of a professional dog trainer—my mother—and have carried on her love for all animals. I was taught how to handle reactive, nervous dogs with calm gentle confidence, keep high-energy dogs busy with engaging activities, and give mindful care of dogs that have any special needs. Dogs have been a part of my life since birth, including my 15 year old boy Chunk that is so disarming, he makes an excellent companion for even the most nervous dogs. I’ve gained a broad amount of experience as the go-to enthusiastic dog sitter for all my friends and family’s pets. I would love share a warm, welcoming home with your pet where nightly snuggles on the couch are the norm. I work from home so I can be as available as your dog needs. My partner also is home for most of the day, and only works in the evenings so one of us is almost always home. We live surrounded by trails and parks so your dog will have ample adventures during their stay. Every dog will be treated with the same love and care as if they were our own. We have a large fenced yard that they are free to roam, and a cozy home with dog beds everywhere. We allow dogs on couch and bed, though I can maintain any rules you have in your home for consistency. We do also have a cat so we cannot accept any dogs that are in any way aggressive towards cats or small critters.

“Tamiko was great! She took such good care of my French bulldog and was very attentive the whole time. I loved getting frequent updates and photos - it really put me at ease. My little guy was happy and well cared for, and I’d recommend anyone, particularly with a French bulldog, to give her a call!”

“During our weekend visit to Sun River, Nikki and her husband watched my very anxious Aussiedoodle for the day while we took kids to an event that was not suitable for dogs. They took wonderful care of her (and me :-), I must add) and I will not hesitate to contact her on our next visit to the area. Thank you, Nikki!”

“Hannah is the best! She is so responsive and sent me several photos and videos throughout the day. She has a perfect big yard for dogs to play in. Our puppy was exhausted by the end of the day because he had so much fun playing! We can’t wait to use Hannah again.”

“Highly recommend Nicole. She was super flexible and accommodating with drop off and pick up. Spartacus would perk right up when he saw her - I could see he was in good hands. Loved the pictures and updates too!”

“We were worried about leaving our new puppy for the first time, but Alisha set up a Zoom so we could meet her the day before and it was immediately obvious that she would take great care of our little guy. Then, when we dropped him off, he practically jumped into her arms and made himself at home in the space she has set up which is perfect for doggy guests. She sent us updates and pics throughout the evening. We are very glad to have Alisha nearby for the future. I especially appreciate her depth of knowledge -- she is a great resource for those of us who have limited experience with raising puppies!”

About: Animals have always been part of my life, and looking after them is something I genuinely enjoy. I have been pet sitting for many years, for friends and family, and I treat every pet like one of my own. Allowing me to spend time with your pet is a privilege that I will not take for granted. I look after cats, dogs, puppies, senior pets, birds, lizards, and small animals and offer drop-in visits, and dog walking in Benicia. I will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout, and I will stick to your pet's routine. I have cared for animals my whole life whether it be my own or for others. My volunteer work at the humane society, Suisun Wildlife Center, and International Bird Rescue has strengthened my passion of caring for pets. I would love to meet you and your pet before the first booking. I am newly retired and have a very flexible schedule. My availability will work around caring for my own fur babies. I live near a neighborhood park which I can use for dog walking or any other favorite spot your pet prefers. I will be sure to understand your pet's individual needs and routine. I will do everything I can to foster a fun and enriching experience for your fur baby. You can rest easy knowing your pet will be safe and loved during each visit or walk.
About: I offer calm, personalized care in a quiet home where your dog is treated like family, not one of many in a busy boarding facility or a home with multiple dogs. I typically host one household at a time, so your dog gets my full attention, genuine affection, and all the cuddles they can handle. My home is the right fit for friendly dogs who love companionship, walks, and settling into a peaceful routine. I'm especially drawn to dogs who thrive with one-on-one attention rather than the noise and energy of a busy multi-dog environment. I'm certified in Pet CPR, Healing Touch for Animals, and Reiki. And beyond the credentials, I'm deeply attuned to each dog's personality and energy. That attunement is what helps them settle in quickly and feel genuinely at ease. My connection to animals runs deep. I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.
“Jenna was available last minute to walk my pup when I was in a bind. She even made the time to walk my puppy twice! Jenna sent pictures and updates from their walks. Highly recommend!”
“Plus not be more happy with Joseph!! He went above and beyond , and made us comfortable to be out of the country knowing he was walking our boys! One is a very young, strong , stubborn lab and he led him with expertise !! I’ll definitely use him again . You should too !”

“Natalie was flexible with scheduling, especially with only a few days advanced notice. She was punctual and able to walk my occasionally reactive dog. It’s hard for us to leave him but I knew he was in good hands based on a prior experience. I will absolutely book her again. Thank you Natalie!”

“Vanessa is friendly, communicative, and reliable. I really appreciated how patient she was in allowing my pup Leo to take his time warming up to her—it made a big difference. Highly recommend!”

“Great walker! Christopher was communicative and on time. He was excellent with our energetic puppy with some leash pulling issues. He followed instructions and gave the report that all went well! He’s confident with dogs, especially if they need some training reinforcement. Would totally work with him again!”

About: Hi, I’m Joe — a lifelong dog lover who treats every pup like my own… right down to the love, the cuddles, and the occasional meatball. I’m home all day, so your dog gets constant attention, companionship, and plenty of affection. My home is relaxed and dog-friendly, with a big, fully fenced yard for safe play, sniffing adventures, and stretching their legs. Inside, pups can lounge wherever they feel comfortable — the couch, their bed, or right next to us. At night, everyone’s welcome in the bedroom, whether they prefer their own spot or decide mine looks more comfortable. (It usually does.) Being home all day means your dog gets frequent potty breaks, a calm routine, and tons of quality time. I send regular photo updates so you can see exactly how well your pup is settling in. Along with boarding, I also offer drop-in visits, in-home sitting, and dog walking, giving you flexible and reliable care options. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely love, spoil, and treat your dog like family — with all the comfort and maybe a meatball or two — I’d be honored to welcome them. I am home full-time, allowing me to provide constant supervision and care. Pet care seamlessly fits into my routine through regular walks, attention, and companionship. In my home, dogs enjoy a large fenced yard, supervised play, and full comfort—allowed on furniture, loved like family, and welcome to sleep beside us.
“Melissa was great. Although my poor scared sensitive rescue Chi always hid from her, Melissa was aware and made sure she did what she could to make Trinket stay calm. She was only able to pet her unfortunately. Trinket is so small she can go and hide in the smallest spaces and it was not easy to get her out. I will definitely use Melissa again once Trinket gains more confidence.”

“Had an absolutely amazing experience having Amanda and Michell watch our Lucy. We’d never left a pet with strangers before, and they couldn’t have made the process more comfortable. Amanda sent daily photos and a brief note on what they did that day. Lucy got to go on many long walks and hikes, and really became part of their family. Without hesitation, I’d use Amanda and Michell again, and highly recommend them to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

Huda really seems to have a way with dogs, she gets them. She’s also a great communicator and kind person. Thank you Huda, we are so happy to have found you!”

“Allison has watched our dog Buddy twice now and both times have been amazing. She is super easy to communicate with and is very accommodating. She even went out of her way to replace Buddy’s toy that he chewed to shreds while he was there. Overall, one of the best experiences we’ve had on Rover so far. Highly recommend!”

“Nikki and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog, LeBron, during his week-long stay in their home. They welcomed him like part of the family and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. They sent daily updates and photos, which truly made our day and gave us peace of mind knowing he was being so well cared for. He also had a great time playing with their older dog, Edie, and it was clear he felt comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Their communication was outstanding from start to finish, and you can tell they genuinely love the dogs they care for. They even went above and beyond by being flexible when our travel plans unexpectedly changed and were able to keep him for an extra day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Nikki and her family to anyone looking for caring, trustworthy, and reliable sitters. We will absolutely book with them again.”

“Neela was awesome! She spent lots of quality time with our pit. She was great about sending us pictures and videos during his stay. He went on walks, sunbathed in the backyard, and got to be her sidekick at home while she worked. She even gifted us with a Polaroid picture of him playing as a sweet personal touch! It is now hanging up in the dashboard of my car. So cute! ❤️ we’ve already asked if she will dog sit again for a longer time while we go to Jamaica. We knew he was loved and happy! That’s all we could ask for.”

“Kamila was a perfect fit for my two German shepherds. My dogs can be quite a handful and Kamila kept them entertained and happy. She kept them on their schedule, well fed, and exercised. I would highly recommend Kamila.”

“Biswas was great with the pups and seems to be confident with all types of dogs. The environment was very relaxed and he took his time introducing all the dogs. He’s got a nice yard where they can lounge around and sends pics and videos. My dogs are high anxiety and I appreciated all the care he took to ensure everyone was relaxed and happy. Highly recommend!”

“Riley usually has separation anxiety during the boarding and doesn’t eat in a couple days. However, Sabrina did an amazing job and Riley got used to the environment and had the meal. I will definitely have Sabrina as Riley’s sitter next time!”
“Malia is great! She communicated well before, during, and after our Barkley's stay with her. She took great care to ease my anxiety about leaving my pet for the first time. I highly recommend her!”

“This was our first time leaving our nearly 3 year old dog with someone and Lisa was fantastic. She and her home are so dog friendly. Communication was great including working with us to facilitate a slightly earlier than planned pick up. We’ll definitely be using Lisa again.”
