I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. About: I have experience potty training puppies, and administrating multiple medications for dogs if needed! I can also walk your dogs and send pictures every day while I am taking care of them. I’m a student at CSUMB, so I will be available mostly on weekends (Friday included). I don’t mind going a bit out of my way, within reason. I take care of my pets as best as I can, and will try my best to clean up after both your pet and myself if necessary! I believe in short maintenance cleaning daily as opposed to cleaning everything all at once.

About: I got started dog sitting my coworkers great dane when she went off on work trips and found my love for having that friendly companion I work full-time monday thru Friday but I have a very flexible schedule on weekends and days during the week to find time to enjoy one on one time with your dog. I work by the dog park in Walnut Creek and my Job is pet friendly to bring in those that need 24/7 care. My workplace has plenty of outdoor space and is gated. I’ve worked in human crisis intervention for over 6 years, which means I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly and clearly when something unexpected happens. That same steady, caring approach is what I bring to every pet I look after. I do Rover to supplement my nonprofit career, so when I take on your pet it's because I genuinely want to be here, not because I have to be. Your pet won't just be cared for, they'll feel right at home! I work from home on a flexible schedule that I primarily set myself, which means I'm present with your pet throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. We have a fenced yard for outdoor time and can separate pets as needed, so your animal has a safe, comfortable space even with my own dogs in the home. My partner, Jen, is also available to support with pet care and walks if you are comfortable with Jen stepping in at times. My home is pet-proofed with a fenced yard, and I can separate animals as needed so everyone has their own safe space alongside my own dogs. About: I believe every animal deserves patience and love. They tell you what they need when you know what to look for and give them the opportunity to express themselves. I grew up with many pets and have experience caring for all kinds of dogs and cats. I have cared for puppies, senior animals, and everything in between. I'm currently exclusively a pet-sitter and have no pets of my own, so I can give my undivided attention to your animals. When I start part-time classes Monday-Thursday in the fall, I will still be available after class and over the weekends. I maintain a calm environment and provide exercise, play time, and cuddles for every pet. I love walking dogs around their neighborhoods and taking them to the park or the beach. I follow feeding schedules and other care instructions and have experience with crate-training and separation anxiety.
