We were understandably nervous about leaving Wizzy with an unfamiliar family for an extended 17-day stay, especially since it was her first time being boarded. Kushram immediately put us at ease by inviting us to a meet-and-greet before the boarding began. We had the pleasure of meeting his family, visiting their lovely home, and seeing the environment where Wizzy would be staying. This experience helped us build trust right from the start. Throughout our 17-day vacation, Kushram consistently sent videos and photos, along with thoughtful updates on Wizzy’s health and well-being. He was incredibly responsive via text and conversations, always replying within the hour. About: I have worked at 2 dog facilities, The Meadows Canine Camp in Santa Rosa and I currently work at the Milo Foundation where I walk and adopt out dogs. I currently have a foster named Grayson (boxer) who is good with small dogs. I love animals and I am very qualified to take care of your pet while you are away. Cant wait to meet them! I work at the Milo Foundation in point Richmond Wednesday-Sunday. Your dog would need to be ok for 8hrs alone on those days or if they are small I can take them with me to work. Before and after work would be dedicated time spent with your pet and I am off on Mondays and Tuesdays. While walking, your pets safety is my number one priority and I will make sure to walk in areas deemed appropriate by clients. Having dogs of my own, I understand the importance on keeping them safe when out. I also like to use a harnesses when walking to avoid a dogs collar slipping and possibility of getting loose.

“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I love trying to teach them a couple things and playing with them ive been raised with dogs since i was little and i love taking them also out and giving them treats. Something about me is also im very active and so i wouldnt mind giving your dogs a walk im really friendly and patient with them and try to understand how they are. I also have toys for them since i understand they also like to chew on toys and for peeing i have a porch thats clean and i can put pads for them. About: PLEASE READ BEFORE REACHING OUT. I have been around dogs my whole life and always loved them. I am currently in-between jobs so your dog will get all his potty breaks and long or short walks. Hablo español! I think of dogs like family and will do everything under my power for their well-being. Please understand I have to do a meet and greet for everyone's safety. Even if it's only one day or one walk, I can only do a rushed request if there is time to do a meet and greet at least one day before. Please note that I have one dog and I will also attend to his needs, this will not take away so much attention from your dog but if your dog does not do well with other pets is best to skip me as a sitter. I take shifts when ever I am available to work (on my time), I will not take a shift if I know I have a doggie scheduled. I live in an ADU with my own fenced back yard, where my dog and yours can play and have potty breaks freely. I will keep a close eye to make sure your dog is safe at all times. I have an extra crate but I do not use it with my dog, if your dog feels more comfortable in it, please let me know so I can have it ready.
