About: **Trusted, Experienced Pet Care – Walks, Check-Ins, and Loving Attention for Your Pets** Hello! My name is Erin, and I am a passionate and experienced animal lover offering reliable pet care services for your furry family members. With more than 20 years of experience owning, walking, and caring for dogs and cats, I understand how important it is for pets to receive consistent exercise, attention, and compassionate care. I offer a variety of services designed to keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away, including 30-minute or 60-minute dog walks, pet check-ins, potty breaks, feeding and watering, pet sitting, and playtime. Whether your dog needs a quick walk to stretch their legs or a longer outing for exercise and stimulation, I am happy to tailor my visits to meet your pet’s specific needs. Over the years I have worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages, and I truly believe that daily exercise and mental stimulation are just as important for animals as they are for people. As someone who walks or hikes every day, I would love to have your dog join me for safe, fun, and engaging outings. My schedule is currently very flexible, so I am available mornings, afternoons, and evenings to accommodate your routine. I am known for being calm yet assertive, patient, kind, trustworthy, responsible, and highly attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. To ensure everyone feels comfortable, I am always happy to schedule a free meet-and-greet so you and your pet can get to know me before booking. If you’re looking for a dependable and caring person who will treat your pet like family, I would love the opportunity to help. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work part time, giving me flexible availability for dog walks, drop-ins, and playtime, with dependable scheduling and plenty of time to focus on your dog. I care for my own dog and cat with structure, patience, enrichment, and affection-prioritizing daily walks, training, play, and routines that keep them happy, healthy, and secure. I consider them members of my family, and promise to treat your pets as good as I do mine. I am the go-to person in my family and friends group when it comes to dog walks, baths, and training.
“Merlette was so patient with our dog who was a little shy on the first visit. She’s also a great communicator and made the whole process easy. So relieved to have found someone who can walk our dog.”

“Ilse did great with Xena. She was attentive to Xena’s reaction to other dogs . She kept her under control and calm. Xena was happy to see Ilse when she came. She was on time and was needed for a week after I had hip surgery. Good job.”

“"I couldn't be happier with their service. I was nervous about finding the right walker for my kids pup, but they were incredibly patient and gentle. Fantastic service! They are dependable, trustworthy, and go above and beyond to make sure my dog gets plenty of exercise I will be back in the future”

“Emma is such a sweet lady, always on time, very responsible and gave us plenty of updates both photos, videos and texts! Very responsive and easy to talk to. And my dog loved her, she was clearly very excited every morning when it came to the scheduled time we arranged for Emma to pick her Ik and take her in her walk. Dogs don’t lie and my dog was ecstatic to see Emma. We could not have done our trip without her, we’re very grateful and I think we’re going to have to schedule with her more regularly so my dog doesn’t get depressed. If you need someone you can count on to take care of your dog (big or small, my dog is a 65 lbs very active husky), be responsive and always on time - Emma is your person. Book with her before she’s all booked up. It’s not easy finding people you can trust with your pets so I’m truly grateful we found Emma. Thank you!!!!”

“Adam is awesome!! My dogs love him and he is great with my dogs, and they aren’t the easiest dogs to walk. He has been available for last-minute requests, and has even fed my dogs when I couldn’t be there. He also fed my cat. Adam is trustworthy and always on time, and excellent at communication. Simply the best!!!”

“Once again, Fioa provided excellent care for my dog..I really appreciate her kind ways and willingness to work with my anxious pup. Fiona is responsible and communicates well.I feel very comfortable with her her respect with my home. I will use her services again.”
About: PLEASE READ BEFORE REACHING OUT. I have been around dogs my whole life and always loved them. I am currently in-between jobs so your dog will get all his potty breaks and long or short walks. Hablo español! I think of dogs like family and will do everything under my power for their well-being. Please understand I have to do a meet and greet for everyone's safety. Even if it's only one day or one walk, I can only do a rushed request if there is time to do a meet and greet at least one day before. Please note that I have one dog and I will also attend to his needs, this will not take away so much attention from your dog but if your dog does not do well with other pets is best to skip me as a sitter. I take shifts when ever I am available to work (on my time), I will not take a shift if I know I have a doggie scheduled. I live in an ADU with my own fenced back yard, where my dog and yours can play and have potty breaks freely. I will keep a close eye to make sure your dog is safe at all times. I have an extra crate but I do not use it with my dog, if your dog feels more comfortable in it, please let me know so I can have it ready.
About: I have been in the animal world since 2017 with my first job being at an animal shelter. In 2024 I graduated from a university to earn my bachelor's degree in canine science to further my knowledge and skill. I absolutely love dogs and all animals; I treat them with the same respect I would another person. I specialize in reward based training (positive reinforcement), dog body language, and behavior. Dog training should be fun for you and the dog. Positive reinforcement is the best way to train because it helps build better bonds between the pet parent and the dog, as well as teach important behaviors and discourage and substitute unwanted behaviors. In my care, your dog(s) will be treated as a part of the family. My main goal is to keep your pup(s) happy, calm, exercised; this should feel like their home away from home. I currently am working home full time for the business, from dog training to grooming to walking to daycare & boarding, we are here for you! There will always be someone here to keep an eye on your pup(s), when I leave my partner is here to help out. We are open everyday. The pups are always treated like my own. When staying over, they keep company with me and my dogs. We are always watching the dogs and making sure they are safe and comfortable. If I am going to your place I will always treat your place with respect.

About: I’ve kind of built my routine around pet care at this point. I’m very intentional about keeping things consistent: feedings, walks, meds, all of it because I know how much that matters to them. And I make time for the in-between moments too like just hanging out so they feel comfortable and not like I’m just passing through. I’ve kind of built my routine around pet care at this point. I’m very intentional about keeping things consistent: feedings, walks, meds, all of it because I know how much that matters to them. And I make time for the in between moments too like just hanging out so they feel comfortable and not like I’m just passing through. I focus a lot on creating a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and can relax. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions closely to keep things consistent and low stress. In my home, I make sure the space is clean, pet safe, and set up so each pet has room to settle in comfortably. I’m very mindful of things like secure doors, safe interactions, and keeping a close eye on behavior to prevent any issues before they happen. Building trust is a big part of my approach, both with pets and their owners, so I prioritize clear communication and dependable care throughout the stay.
About: I live in Hercules (East Bay) and only do IN HOME CARE for dogs and sometimes cats. I've found there is less stress if they stay in their own familiar surroundings with your smells; especially if they are blind or deaf or have elderly med needs.. I also give medications and understand senior dog needs. My small Chihuahua SOPHIE comes with me and gets along with everyone. I am semi-retired and will attend to all your instructions, sleep with your baby if that is what is required. I specialize in small dogs but will consider anything, especially if you are in a bind and need someone ASAP. Call me and let's discuss your needs! Thank you. I'm semi-retired and usually available. I am happy to take your dog to dog parks. Sophie and I go on long walks everyday, sometimes twice. We are active. We will follow your schedule. I've great references for in-home care which is all I do now. I also keep the house clean and will do laundry or other needs while I am there. Long or short stays, just let me know what you need. I've background checks that are stellar, never any incident. I am a professional.

Merlette is amazing. We had a last minute event and needed to get my boys walked and Willette was more than happy to step in and help. I am so grateful for her that we found her. I can’t say enough great things about her so thank you again for that. You’re amazing thank you.

Once again, Fioa provided excellent care for my dog..I really appreciate her kind ways and willingness to work with my anxious pup. Fiona is responsible and communicates well.I feel very comfortable with her her respect with my home. I will use her services again.
I still need to get my key back from Angela. I had asked her to contact me and set up a summary meeting on how Cooper did while I was gone, and we missed communicating with each other. She still had two dog walks scheduled when I got home, and we have not been able to communicate with each other to set up the summary meeting. I was using one walk for the summary. Can you please let me know how to get my key back since the days I had scheduled the walks were several days ago now. Thank you.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
