“Valissa is communicative, prompt, and always has tidbits to share about her time walking with our kinda awkward girl, a large Shepard mix Maggie. Would recommend her to walk your big dogs who need a strong leader!”

“Ilse did great with Xena. She was attentive to Xena’s reaction to other dogs . She kept her under control and calm. Xena was happy to see Ilse when she came. She was on time and was needed for a week after I had hip surgery. Good job.”

About: Lifelong Animal Lover with 40+ Years of Hands-On Pet Care Experience I’ve been a dedicated pet owner for more than 40 years, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My lifelong experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, routines, and the importance of patience, consistency, and trust. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have periodically fostered animals to help prepare them for successful adoption into loving homes. This experience has included helping pets adjust to new environments, providing comfort and structure, reinforcing positive behaviors, and giving them the attention they need to thrive. Whether your pet needs a dependable walk, companionship while you’re away, or calm and attentive care, I provide a safe, loving, and responsible environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I own my own business and primarily work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. Your pet will receive regular walks, playtime, companionship, and personalized attention throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, and extra cuddle time to help them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, exercise, and bathroom breaks. Inside the home, pets have a clean, comfortable space to relax and feel at ease. I closely follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, and preferred sleeping arrangements. In a client’s home, I respect your space while making sure your pet feels secure, cared for, and stress-free in their familiar environment. Safety, trust, patience, and consistent attention are always my top priorities.
“"I couldn't be happier with their service. I was nervous about finding the right walker for my kids pup, but they were incredibly patient and gentle. Fantastic service! They are dependable, trustworthy, and go above and beyond to make sure my dog gets plenty of exercise I will be back in the future”

“Emma is such a sweet lady, always on time, very responsible and gave us plenty of updates both photos, videos and texts! Very responsive and easy to talk to. And my dog loved her, she was clearly very excited every morning when it came to the scheduled time we arranged for Emma to pick her Ik and take her in her walk. Dogs don’t lie and my dog was ecstatic to see Emma. We could not have done our trip without her, we’re very grateful and I think we’re going to have to schedule with her more regularly so my dog doesn’t get depressed. If you need someone you can count on to take care of your dog (big or small, my dog is a 65 lbs very active husky), be responsive and always on time - Emma is your person. Book with her before she’s all booked up. It’s not easy finding people you can trust with your pets so I’m truly grateful we found Emma. Thank you!!!!”

“Adam is awesome!! My dogs love him and he is great with my dogs, and they aren’t the easiest dogs to walk. He has been available for last-minute requests, and has even fed my dogs when I couldn’t be there. He also fed my cat. Adam is trustworthy and always on time, and excellent at communication. Simply the best!!!”

About: I've had a dog since I was 6 and I've grown to love them! I have 10 year old twins and a dog in the home who wants a friend to play with! He's a male pit/husky mix and super friendly with all people and other dogs....just not sure about cats lol. We will treat your baby like our own. I work from home and currently have my own dog and we walk every 2-3 hours and I have a large fenced in backyard for them to run around and play. I have a fenced in backyard with a very tall fence so everyone is safe! At night, I have pallets everyone can sleep on or if they like to snuggle, they can sleep in the bed with me!
About: PLEASE READ BEFORE REACHING OUT. I have been around dogs my whole life and always loved them. I am currently in-between jobs so your dog will get all his potty breaks and long or short walks. Hablo español! I think of dogs like family and will do everything under my power for their well-being. Please understand I have to do a meet and greet for everyone's safety. Even if it's only one day or one walk, I can only do a rushed request if there is time to do a meet and greet at least one day before. Please note that I have one dog and I will also attend to his needs, this will not take away so much attention from your dog but if your dog does not do well with other pets is best to skip me as a sitter. I take shifts when ever I am available to work (on my time), I will not take a shift if I know I have a doggie scheduled. I live in an ADU with my own fenced back yard, where my dog and yours can play and have potty breaks freely. I will keep a close eye to make sure your dog is safe at all times. I have an extra crate but I do not use it with my dog, if your dog feels more comfortable in it, please let me know so I can have it ready.

About: I have been in the animal world since 2017 with my first job being at an animal shelter. In 2024 I graduated from a university to earn my bachelor's degree in canine science to further my knowledge and skill. I absolutely love dogs and all animals; I treat them with the same respect I would another person. I specialize in reward based training (positive reinforcement), dog body language, and behavior. Dog training should be fun for you and the dog. Positive reinforcement is the best way to train because it helps build better bonds between the pet parent and the dog, as well as teach important behaviors and discourage and substitute unwanted behaviors. In my care, your dog(s) will be treated as a part of the family. My main goal is to keep your pup(s) happy, calm, exercised; this should feel like their home away from home. I currently am working home full time for the business, from dog training to grooming to walking to daycare & boarding, we are here for you! There will always be someone here to keep an eye on your pup(s), when I leave my partner is here to help out. We are open everyday. The pups are always treated like my own. When staying over, they keep company with me and my dogs. We are always watching the dogs and making sure they are safe and comfortable. If I am going to your place I will always treat your place with respect.
“Cerene is very responsible and kind. After meet and greet I knew I would leave our Rocket in a good hands. If you are looking for some help with your pet don’t look further. You are lucky if Cerene is available! Our Rocket needs some warm up time with new people so Cerene quickly became good friends with our doggie.”

About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I treat my pets as family members and would love to care for yours the same way while you are away from home. My goal is for you to leave your pets behind knowing they will be well taken care of. I’m currently a stay at home mom of a baby and 2 boxers. I’m constantly playing with my dogs and I keep them occupied all day (boxer energy is no joke) I have a decent sized back yard where your pet can play safe and freely, I also have a special indoor area where your pet can play and rest. If your dog loves to play I own 2 young energetic boxers who love to make new friends and will make sure your dog is exhausted by the end of the day. However, if your dog is older and/or just prefers a quiet place I can certainly accommodate.
About: I've helped raise my sister's dogs and cats since I was 21. I've been watching my mom's best friends pets for a couple of years. I know how to take care of animals with special needs, give them medicine, play and just be excellent company. I'm currently looking for work so I'm free all the time and eager to start helping people that need their pets watched. Pets are everything. Whatever rules you give me I will follow. Safety is always number one priority. I will always have my eyes on your fur babies no matter what.
“Rebecca is wonderful with my high-energy Lab, he always comes back from his walks tired and happy. We appreciate her flexibility, reliability, and good communication. Definitely recommend :)”

Rachel is awesome - my dog immediately liked her! She was attentive and had great questions as I gave her a rundown of his likes/dislikes. I’m newer to the area and feel so much better that we now have a great contact like Rachel for walks and overnights if we go out of town.

Debbie is my trusted daily dog walker for months now and I highly recommend her! I was nervous having to find a new dog walker for my rescue pup after moving to a new city, but Debbie has put me at ease and proven to be kind, trustworthy, communicative, reliable, consistent, and in tune with my pup’s needs and patient and positive with his quirks. Your doggo will be in great hands with Debbie!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
