About: I’ve had & been around dogs of all sizes, breeds, & ages all my life & love all dogs ! I grew up with a Maltese Shih Tzu, Rottweilers, & a Yorkie & was involved in all of their training as well. I was always the go-to kid in my neighborhoods for dog walking & pet sitting when neighbors went out of town. From Huskies & German Shepherds to Pugs & Staffy’s, I’ve been around them all & am excited to start caring for your furry friend just like my own :) Currently completely open !! Can do early morning walks, midday play dates, evening feedings, & everything else in between to help ease your load !! I’m great with lists & open communication !! Want to make sure that your dog’s needs are met wether that be getting in their daily walk or running around the backyard & being fed while you’re at work or keeping them company & on their schedule while you get in your vacay !!

“I can't say enough good things about Esther and the wonderful care she provided for my dog. From the moment we scheduled our meet and greet, Esther demonstrated a level of attentiveness and dedication that truly set her apart. Not only did she ensure that my dog got the exercise and attention she needed during each walk, but she also took the time to keep me informed with detailed updates, including photos and descriptions of their adventures together. Her commitment to both my dog's well-being and my peace of mind was evident in every interaction. It was such a relief to know that I had chosen the right person to care for my dog while I was away. Thanks to Esther, we were able to enjoy our time away knowing that our beloved pet was in capable and caring hands. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone in need of a reliable and compassionate dog walker.”

“Adam did a great job taking care of my two dogs. He was always on time, always in communication with me, and always sent pictures. Adam has a nice, calm demeanor and my dogs love him. I will definitely use Adam in the future. It was a great experience, thank you Adam!!”

“Emma is very punctual, flexible with her schedule, and easy to communicate with. My dog is high energy and anxiety, she’s not trusting of new ppl and is very vocal. Two walks later, she’s Emma’s best friend. I appreciate Emma’s calm energy. She lets dogs go to her and doesn’t force any affection onto them while being attentive and sweet. She walks my dog twice a week and she will be boarding with her soon. Highly recommend.”

“Yasmin was so incredibly great with my dog! I have a very hyper little dog and she was so patient and kind with him. She took him for long walks (even in this heatwave!) and made sure he had water after they were done. She also takes the cutest pictures that I have saved many to my phone. She even provides an update of how the walk went and what happened with her walking card which definitely going above and beyond. If you need a great dog walker I would highly recommend her because she is so amazing!”

“We’re so grateful for Judith who came through last minute and was incredibly dependable and accommodating. She took great care of Lucy, even making sure to put out extra water for her on a hot day. Truly thoughtful and reliable, highly recommend!”

“Aimee is amazing! My dog is a senior with neurological issues, and tends to be hesitant around strangers. Aimee’s calm, loving demeanor put him at ease immediately and they were best pals from the start. It was 90 degrees outside and Aimee had the experience and good judgement to find an alternative exercise, playing ball in the backyard to keep his feet and body cool. Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby! I’ll definitely use Aimee again! <3”

“Ilse did great with Xena. She was attentive to Xena’s reaction to other dogs . She kept her under control and calm. Xena was happy to see Ilse when she came. She was on time and was needed for a week after I had hip surgery. Good job.”

“Ronald walked my two dogs - one who small and anxious and the other who is medium sized and high energy. He came over to meet them beforehand and they warmed right up. Will definitely ask him to walk them again in the future!”
About: Trusted, experienced pet care for every personality—from energetic puppies and playful cats to beloved senior pets! Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up with three dogs and a cat, I developed a deep understanding of the love, patience, and responsibility that come with caring for pets. Dogs and cats are my specialty, and I have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle English Mastiffs. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for my childhood dog throughout his senior years. As he aged, I became familiar with the extra attention, patience, and specialized care that senior pets often require. I also have experience administering medications and following specific care instructions, ensuring pets stay comfortable, healthy, and on schedule while their owners are away. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve looked after many family members’ and friends’ dogs and cats, always treating them as if they were my own. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and reptiles, making me comfortable with a variety of pet care needs. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their beloved companions are receiving attentive, reliable, and compassionate care while they’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing the same level of care and love that I would give my own family members. I have a very flexible schedule and I have a lot of free time to provide the best care to all of your furry family members. :) I am open to any and all instructions as I have had experience with crate training, grooming, administering oral and injectable medications, senior dogs, and puppies. To reassure you, and let you know that your furry friend is doing well, I will send multiple pictures, text, and videos of them while you’re away.
“Mariah is wonderful with my 2-year-old German shepherd, Falko. He listens to her on his walks, and she gives me great recaps on his behavior and how the walk went. Falko gets really excited when Mariah comes to walk him. We will definitely continue to ask Mariah to come and walk Falko - it is a great help, and we have peace of mind that he is in good hands.”

About: I am a person who cares! And I care most when it comes to your pets. My pets are my life and I understand that they are family. As an uber driver, I have a very open schedule and the ability to make frequent stops to check in with babies throughout my day! I would come equipped with a first aid kit and all safety materials. I would assure I had participated in any and all safety trainings available.

About: Lifelong Animal Lover with 40+ Years of Hands-On Pet Care Experience I’ve been a dedicated pet owner for more than 40 years, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My lifelong experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, routines, and the importance of patience, consistency, and trust. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have periodically fostered animals to help prepare them for successful adoption into loving homes. This experience has included helping pets adjust to new environments, providing comfort and structure, reinforcing positive behaviors, and giving them the attention they need to thrive. Whether your pet needs a dependable walk, companionship while you’re away, or calm and attentive care, I provide a safe, loving, and responsible environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I own my own business and primarily work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. Your pet will receive regular walks, playtime, companionship, and personalized attention throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, and extra cuddle time to help them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, exercise, and bathroom breaks. Inside the home, pets have a clean, comfortable space to relax and feel at ease. I closely follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, and preferred sleeping arrangements. In a client’s home, I respect your space while making sure your pet feels secure, cared for, and stress-free in their familiar environment. Safety, trust, patience, and consistent attention are always my top priorities.
About: I have experience potty training puppies, and administrating multiple medications for dogs if needed! I can also walk your dogs and send pictures every day while I am taking care of them. I’m a student at CSUMB, so I will be available mostly on weekends (Friday included). I don’t mind going a bit out of my way, within reason. I take care of my pets as best as I can, and will try my best to clean up after both your pet and myself if necessary! I believe in short maintenance cleaning daily as opposed to cleaning everything all at once.
“Jenna was available last minute to walk my pup when I was in a bind. She even made the time to walk my puppy twice! Jenna sent pictures and updates from their walks. Highly recommend!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
