I also have a passion to becoming a vet and this would be a great opportunity to give me experience with other dogs. I am currently working a part time job, when I do work I work nights but I am usually free during the mornings and afternoon. About: Lifelong Animal Lover with 40+ Years of Hands-On Pet Care Experience I’ve been a dedicated pet owner for more than 40 years, caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My lifelong experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, routines, and the importance of patience, consistency, and trust. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have periodically fostered animals to help prepare them for successful adoption into loving homes. This experience has included helping pets adjust to new environments, providing comfort and structure, reinforcing positive behaviors, and giving them the attention they need to thrive. Whether your pet needs a dependable walk, companionship while you’re away, or calm and attentive care, I provide a safe, loving, and responsible environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I own my own business and primarily work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. Your pet will receive regular walks, playtime, companionship, and personalized attention throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, and extra cuddle time to help them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised outdoor play, exercise, and bathroom breaks. Inside the home, pets have a clean, comfortable space to relax and feel at ease. I closely follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, and preferred sleeping arrangements. In a client’s home, I respect your space while making sure your pet feels secure, cared for, and stress-free in their familiar environment. Safety, trust, patience, and consistent attention are always my top priorities.
About: I've been a pet owner/lover all of my life. I rescued and rehabilitated my orange tabby from the age of 4 weeks old, when we found him in the street close to death. I can bottle feed, give medication, and am always available for cuddles. I work from home and have a large back yard so I can walk/let your pups out all day long, and give them a great space to play and roam in. I work from home Monday-Friday, so I am available from dawn til dusk, and am also available on weekends to handle all of your pet care needs. We have a 2k sq ft home, a fenced backyard, and two cats. If I am boarding I am available to walk/feed your animals morning through night, and they will have a large yard to roam and be free in. In warmer and colder weather your animals will be inside, in either AC, or heating. Whatever the weather is feeling that day. I can walk/feed your animals in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and can take them to parks as needed. I have reliable transportation, and am a dutiful pet lover who is extremely attentive and in tune to animals.
About: Trusted, experienced pet care for every personality—from energetic puppies and playful cats to beloved senior pets! Animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up with three dogs and a cat, I developed a deep understanding of the love, patience, and responsibility that come with caring for pets. Dogs and cats are my specialty, and I have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle English Mastiffs. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for my childhood dog throughout his senior years. As he aged, I became familiar with the extra attention, patience, and specialized care that senior pets often require. I also have experience administering medications and following specific care instructions, ensuring pets stay comfortable, healthy, and on schedule while their owners are away. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve looked after many family members’ and friends’ dogs and cats, always treating them as if they were my own. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and reptiles, making me comfortable with a variety of pet care needs. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their beloved companions are receiving attentive, reliable, and compassionate care while they’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing the same level of care and love that I would give my own family members. I have a very flexible schedule and I have a lot of free time to provide the best care to all of your furry family members. :) I am open to any and all instructions as I have had experience with crate training, grooming, administering oral and injectable medications, senior dogs, and puppies. To reassure you, and let you know that your furry friend is doing well, I will send multiple pictures, text, and videos of them while you’re away.

“We’ve been booking Esther for a while now, and she has been nothing short of amazing! She’s the only person we trust with our pets. Our dog absolutely loves her—and even our cat, who is usually picky with people, adores her too! She’s reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond every visit. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your fur babies like their own, book with her. Your pets will be in the best hands! 🐾💛”

“Emma is such a sweet lady, always on time, very responsible and gave us plenty of updates both photos, videos and texts! Very responsive and easy to talk to. And my dog loved her, she was clearly very excited every morning when it came to the scheduled time we arranged for Emma to pick her Ik and take her in her walk. Dogs don’t lie and my dog was ecstatic to see Emma. We could not have done our trip without her, we’re very grateful and I think we’re going to have to schedule with her more regularly so my dog doesn’t get depressed. If you need someone you can count on to take care of your dog (big or small, my dog is a 65 lbs very active husky), be responsive and always on time - Emma is your person. Book with her before she’s all booked up. It’s not easy finding people you can trust with your pets so I’m truly grateful we found Emma. Thank you!!!!”

Simply the best!!!”

About: My mom currently owns a dog and her mom used to own 2. They knew of my love of animals and would always ask me to visit and help them out with petsitting. I am currently a part time college student. When I am not in school I would like to turn my love of animals into a job. I can gain more hands on experiences by working with them for future careers. I am a morning and evening person and my hours will be flexible for you and your pet(s) When I had cats they were free to roam inside and outside. As well as cleaning out their litter boxes when needed. Quality time consisted of playtime, and meals, etc. When I’m out and about I kept the dogs on leashes, and away from strangers if they were prone to bark. I never leave dogs in the car. And when I have to leave them at home I put on music or background noise so they could feel safe and relaxed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
