“We had a last minute boarding need during the holidays for our large labradoodle and German Shepherd puppy. This was their first boarding ever. Melanie made us feel very comfortable with leaving our dogs and kept us updated on how they were doing. Both dogs returned home with improved kenneling and walking. We will definitely be using Melanie in the future.”

9. Jay S.

“I highly recommend Jamal. He watched my dog for a week. He sent daily photos and let me know how my dog was doing. His house is extremely clean and spacious, which is top criteria for me when I’m looking for someone to take care of my fur baby. Leaving my dog with someone new is not something I do often, but meeting Jamal and seeing how he interacted with my dog and his own dog definitely put me at ease. I would not hesitate to book him again.”

11. Roop B.
“Roop is hands-down one of the best pet sitters you could ask for! Every time she takes care of our golden retriever, Mocha, he comes back happy, relaxed, and clearly pampered. Every visit feels like a vacation for him. She’s so thoughtful and caring, always keeping us updated with little messages and cute photos, so we never have to worry about how he’s doing. Plus, since she has her own golden retriever, sweet Gnocchi, she knows exactly how to make dogs feel safe and loved. We can’t recommend her enough—you and your fur baby will be in the best hands with Roop!”

14. Kimberly C.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in elementary school. I have walked, fed, bathed and cuddled the dogs of my family and friends. I now care for my senior dogs and appreciate how each dog has a different personality and needs. I lived in Hawaii for most of my life and have loved dogs since I knew they existed. While growing up, I’ve always had a family dog and I am so grateful to have grown up with dogs. When my own boys were old enough, I could no longer resist the pull to allow them to have this special kind of love in their lives. We now have 2 small dogs that teach us lessons about living a good life. I am a stay-at-home mom. I recently started to homeschool my teenage son. I am home 7 days a week and will be available to give your dog love and attention they need. I will only be taking one client at a time, so your dog will have all my attention and will not be crowded out. I have watched the dogs of our friends and family over the years and enjoy having a new little personality in our home. I have watched senior dogs, dogs with digestive issues and separation anxiety and the owners have all been very happy with my care. Our quirky and particular pups have taught me a lot about accommodating anything a dog may need to feel at home. I am happy to follow any of your instructions regarding schedules for feeding, bathroom breaks, and sleeping to make your baby comfortable. Our dogs are family and I want your dog to be our new best friend. I’ve included a little information about our 2 dogs, because that’s something I’d like to know if I were the client. If your dog sounds anything like my dogs, they will be well taken care with me. Our first dog is a rescue Chihuahua mix from the local shelter, he is loving, gentle and loves to eat, but has digestion issues. Now he’s about 14 years old and has grown into a quirky senior dog who needs a little help and a lot of naps. We carry him in a basket up and down the stairs, have nightlights and floor rugs to accommodate him. For walks, most days we put him in a wagon and then let him walk the short distance home as he stops to smell just about every tree and bush. He is good with other dogs and is generally quiet except at the first meeting. He continues to teach us how to love and be loved and makes our lives better everyday. Our second dog is 18 lbs of fluffy! She is our watchdog, not guard dog, as she is a little scared of most things, but lets us know all about whatever she sees (a bit of a barker). She’s just started her senior years at about 11 yrs old and is beginning to show a bit of her age, but she still has enough energy for daily zoomies. She loves looking out the windows, naps in the rocking chair, and of course cuddles and belly rubs. She’s also a picky eater with digestive issues. She loves her neighborhood walks and will just about fall asleep in your arms as long as you keep rubbing your belly. She needs a little time to makes friends, but if introduced correctly will come around nicely. I know that each dog has its own personality and some have more quirks than others. I had to do several M&G when looking for someone to watch my dogs. So I understand how important it is to have open communication between the sitter and client. So feel free to give me detailed information on what your dog needs. I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my son. I take breaks about every 1.5-2 hours and will be there to spend time with your dog. I can play with toys, a snuffle mat, finding treats, a short walk and bathroom breaks. I will be home and available to your dog pretty much all the time, except for no more than 2 hours to go grocery shopping/ errands etc. My schedule is flexible and I can accommodate your dog's quirky schedule needs. My communication hours are 8am-8pm for all normal communications. If I email or text outside of these hours I would not expect a response unless it is an emergency. I take dogs up to 20lbs. I will only take one client at a time because I want to be able to give your dog the attention they deserve. Some dogs are quirky and I want to decrease the fear of adjusting to too many dog personalities, a new place and new people. I have a small fenced yard and my neighborhood has nice walking paths and green areas. There is very little traffic in my safe neighborhood. I will gate off an area in my home for the first day or so until your dog is comfortable. If your dog requires its own room with total peace and quiet I can accommodate that too. I understand that you and your dog will likely be anxious to spend time apart so I will do my best to make your dog feel safe and comfortable. And I will communicate often and honestly while you are away. Please have your dogs up to date on shots and especially flea medication.

16. Margarita L.

“We have had the privilege of Margarita taking care of our little fur baby, Mochi, on two occasions so far. Not only does Margarita provide regular updates but her own pack of friendly pups have welcomed Mochi giving her friends while we are away. Thank you Margarita!”

20. Angie H.
