“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I’ve always absolutely adored animals! I became a vegetarian when I was 6 years old and I’ve been vegan now for 9 years. I’ve always been a go-to house/pet sitter for my friends and family, as everyone knows I treat every fur baby as my own! I also have experience working at an actual dog hotel + doggy daycare, so I’m very familiar and comfortable with administering medications, juggling multiple animals at once, and paying close attention to certain behaviors. My full time position is WFH + eastern time hours (6am-3pm) so I have an incredibly flexible schedule being able to work from anywhere. My full time job is 100% WFH, so I can work elsewhere is needed. Otherwise, being off at 3pm makes it feel like I still have the whole day ahead of me by the time I’m off work! Pet care is something my world revolves around, happily! If your pet is ever at my house, there’s quite a few perks with that! (1) built-in doggy best friend in my pug that LOVES other dogs (2) fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run around and comfortably go potty (3) dogs are allowed on all of my furniture, so the snuggles are the sweetest and comfiest!

About: We’re Back! 🐾❤️ We’re a team with a shared love for animals! We actually met while working at Pet Food Express, so caring for animals has been part of our story from the very beginning. We both have hands-on pet care experience, and I’ve been in the animal industry since around 2012, with a background in pet nutrition, retail, grooming, and volunteer work. We’re experienced with pets of all sizes, seniors, and animals with special needs, and we’re happy to accommodate medication needs. Now, I work mornings and my partner Ashley works from home, so your pets will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day! We live in a spacious three-bedroom home with lots of natural light and a large backyard for exploring, playing, and relaxing. We love dogs of all sizes, from tiny teacups to Great Danes, and we’re big cat lovers, too! Nail trims are available upon request for an additional fee. Our goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home. We can’t wait to meet your furry family! 🐶🐱💕 I am very flexible, accommodating, and available to work around you and your pets schedule, making it easy for drop off and pick up times. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly pug to keep your pup company. Our pug is also crate trained and will be separated when my eyes can’t be on them. Our home is very calm and inviting. About: I have worked at 2 dog facilities, The Meadows Canine Camp in Santa Rosa and I currently work at the Milo Foundation where I walk and adopt out dogs. I currently have a foster named Grayson (boxer) who is good with small dogs and I also own a small Maltese mix named Swiffer. I love animals and I am very qualified to take care of your pet while you are away. Cant wait to meet them! I work at the Milo Foundation in point Richmond. I normally work Tuesday-Saturday but we will soon be closed for renovations for the month of September. I will be very available to pet sitting and boarding as I will be working from home the entire month of September! While walking, your pets safety is my number one priority and I will make sure to walk in areas deemed appropriate by clients. Having dogs of my own, I understand the importance on keeping them safe when out. I also like to use a harnesses when walking to avoid a dogs collar slipping and possibility of getting loose.

“I have an anxious senior pup who hasn't spent much time apart from my partner and I since adopting him a few months ago (in large part due to his anxiety). I did a pre-meeting with Zoe to make sure it would be a good fit for the pup and then we completed the booking. While my pup still let me know later in the day he was mad I left him, when I picked him up he was happy and bouncing around, but also perfectly happy to go back and hang with her. I think this was the most positive experience possible for Rick and am hopeful the positive experience might help him towards being less anxious when we leave him in the future (every positive experience helps I hope!). I would and will definitely book again with her as long as she's available and accepts him again! Also to note, she was very flexible with our pick up time which I appreciated - I had mentioned I might be able to pick the dog up early, and then when I was able to I messaged her that day and picked him up 3 hours early to hopefully make it easier on Rick. That for sure saved me some time instead of needing to pick him up and hitting rush hour on my way home. She was also very helpful and provided feedback to me on Rick's behavior at my request so I have a good handle on how his anxiety and overall behavior is progressing as we try to work through it.
