About: Hi there, Im your new friendly neighborhood dog trainer! If you're going on vacation, rest assured that with me, your dog will be having fun and LEARNING! Have a dog that is high energy or needs some behaviors worked on? Crate training, counter surfer, leash pulling, etc. I can help! Ive been working professionally training dogs for over 6 years and for the past 10 years I have been volunteering my time working with animals. I am dedicated to creating a fun and safe environment for your pups! I've worked with dogs in all stages of life, from potty training to administering medication to senior dogs, along with everything in between. Big facilities aren't able to offer the one on one quality time that you and your dog desire, but luckily I can guarantee: GSP tracking on your dog Daily photo updates (texted) 2 walks or hikes a day Multiple training sessions Free play in a gated yard Weekly report cards for day care pups and any other specifications your dog might need! I'm new to Rover but can provide client testimonials on my website! What's better than boarding your dog? Boarding and training! DOGS WITH BEHAVIORAL ISSUES ARE WELCOME BUT MUST MESSAGE ME PRIOR TO BOOKING! I'm a professional dog trainer, pet care IS my daily routine! I have created a career around the thing I love most in this world, and I'm so lucky that I can spend everyday dedicated to pet care. Safety is my #1 priority. Every animal that enters my home is immediately equipped with an apple air tag. I have a fenced back yard and a fenced front yard so there is no opportunity for bolting. I implement some rules in my home for guest dogs, like sitting at the front door before being let out to encourage them not to run out of any front door. I have 2 personal dogs here that can interact with your pup if that is something we agree on. Not every dog WANTS to play with other dogs and that okay! I have plenty of toys and games set up to spend quality time with your pup, if they don't want to interact with other dogs. I have crates if needed as well!

“I deeply appreciated Laura's kind, caring and conscientious care of my 15-year-old pup. She provided me with updates/photos, which I greatly appreciate. I'm very picky about who I trust to care for my aging pup, and I feel peace of mind when she takes care of him. I highly recommend Laura if you want someone who will care for your pup like he/she is one of her own fur-kids.”
16. Spencer W.
“Spencer truly has the touch with all animals. I was lucky enough to adopt a dog that he had fostered from the shelter here in Santa Cruz. She's a pittie named Apple who was found tied to a mile marker on a highway by a belt and prong collar. Needless to say, she was a bit traumatized from her ordeal/previous life. Spencer was key in bringing her out of her shell and helping her overcome her anxiety. She was part of his pack of about 8 or more dogs that he cared for, along with chickens, ducks, goats, cats ... etc. Thanks to him, we have an amazing pup who gets along with all. I would absolutely 100% recommend Spencer for any training or care for your animals. You and your pets will learn and grow so much under his guidance!”
