Also, my mother retired early and lives with me and is very active. We have a 3 year old labradoodle that spends most of the day with us and gets a walk every day. I also take breaks and throw toys in the yard. Dog life is built into our schedule. I have a fenced in yard and front porch to keep pets safe. We live in downtown Benicia, in a dog friendly and very walkable neighborhood.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover and a reliable, caring person. As a 7th grade teacher for 10 years and mother of 2 humans and one dog, I’m patient, attentive, and loving. I’ll treat your dog like part of my family and provide a safe, loving home where they feel comfortable and cared for. I work part time from home. I work in our main space overlooking the large deck and gated yard. My doggy loves to sleep at my feet or stretch out in the sun. I walk my child and dog(s) to local school for fresh air and exercise in the morning. Then I work in our main space overlooking the large deck and yard. Either an early afternoon walk or a rigorous game of catch or play. My kids (9 and 14) are around most afternoons, providing extra stimulation or cuddles as desired. Safety is top priority! Your doggy can have free access to the yard if they won’t jump our 4 foot fence. If they have an uncanny desire to jump, they can still be outside on our large deck or have supervised visits in the yard for play and “business”.

About: I grew up as the daughter of a professional dog trainer—my mother—and have carried on her love for all animals. I was taught how to handle reactive, nervous dogs with calm gentle confidence, keep high-energy dogs busy with engaging activities, and give mindful care of dogs that have any special needs. Dogs have been a part of my life since birth, including my 15 year old boy Chunk that is so disarming, he makes an excellent companion for even the most nervous dogs. I’ve gained a broad amount of experience as the go-to enthusiastic dog sitter for all my friends and family’s pets. I would love share a warm, welcoming home with your pet where nightly snuggles on the couch are the norm. I work from home so I can be as available as your dog needs. My partner also is home for most of the day, and only works in the evenings so one of us is almost always home. We live surrounded by trails and parks so your dog will have ample adventures during their stay. Every dog will be treated with the same love and care as if they were our own. We have a large fenced yard that they are free to roam, and a cozy home with dog beds everywhere. We allow dogs on couch and bed, though I can maintain any rules you have in your home for consistency. We do also have a cat so we cannot accept any dogs that are in any way aggressive towards cats or small critters.

“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. About: I've had multiple pets all my life and seen many into old age, when they need special care. I'm not just looking for the perfect rpretty pet, but I want you to feel confident and at ease with the care and love I will give your furry family member I'm retired so can give full time care to your pet. My yard is large and fully fenced in. the house is pet friendly as well. I am retired so mostly home but do go out occasionally for shopping and other daily activities. I would prefer to crate your dog for my out periods. Also your dogs should be house broken, I will take them out as often as needed for bathroom breaks I will treat all your pets as if they were my own, and hope we can build a long and trusting relationship with each other. If they like pets, cuddles and treats, that's even better!

About: I’ve always maintained more than 6 Doggie Children at a time, I even make my own dog food, in our house we treat them as little people I’m home during the day and working on my Real Estate License, we have 5 Dogs, 4 Small and 1 Big, they all have they’re own areas, no fightings, in addition a covered exterior Patio off the back of the house, Treat them like my children, clean up after them, be mindful of their ages, be mindful you are in their home, treat them as you wish to be treated

About: I have worked at 2 dog facilities, The Meadows Canine Camp in Santa Rosa and I currently work at the Milo Foundation where I walk and adopt out dogs. I currently have a foster named Grayson (boxer) who is good with small dogs. I love animals and I am very qualified to take care of your pet while you are away. Cant wait to meet them! I work at the Milo Foundation in point Richmond Wednesday-Sunday. Your dog would need to be ok for 8hrs alone on those days or if they are small I can take them with me to work. Before and after work would be dedicated time spent with your pet and I am off on Mondays and Tuesdays. While walking, your pets safety is my number one priority and I will make sure to walk in areas deemed appropriate by clients. Having dogs of my own, I understand the importance on keeping them safe when out. I also like to use a harnesses when walking to avoid a dogs collar slipping and possibility of getting loose.
