My connection to animals runs deep. I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.

About: I've had pets most of my life - cats, dogs, and even a snake. My wife and I had a dog who passed a couple of years ago, and now we have two dogs who are 2 and almost 2. I'm a middle school teacher, and my wife works from home, so someone will be with the dogs most of the time if they're at our house. We're comfortable with dogs of any age and can handle excitable puppy energy, as well as provide medications. If your dog(s) are at our house, they'll get to run and play with our dogs, who rarely meet a dog they don't like. I'm a teacher who is gone during the day, and my wife works from home. If I'm at your house, I will leave to go teach for the day, but at our house, my wife can provide potty breaks or play time during the day. Weekends are flexible. I often dog-sit for our neighbors when they are out of town, and I give the dogs lots of love, pets, and play time. I feed them on their parents' schedules with appropriate food and medicine. For the senior dog, I lift him to be able ot go outside and potty. Whenever I'm caring for my dogs or others, I follow the instructions for those pets and give them lots of love and attention.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for around 4 years now! I’ve always loved animals, and first started getting expirence from volunteer at the Berkley Animal Shelter! “Natalia helped us to be finally able to take a vacation together! It had been 2 years since our cat developed diabetes and we have been too scared to leave the twice daily insulin injections to just anyone. Luckily, Natalia was experienced and able to jump right in even with the 5:30am and 5:30pm injections. She also send us updates each time! Our cats also sometimes have litter box issues and she followed all instructions without issue! We will definitely hire again!”
