About: I have had pets all my life and have a special way with many animals. From tiring out restless pups through play so they can settle in their doghouses, to gaining the trust of the sassiest cats, my patience and kindness towards all animals has gained me the favor of friends and family to care for their pets. I am currently a full time student, so my availability throughout the week can vary. Despite this I find myself to have my afternoons and evenings mostly free. Additionally, my weekends will be free most weeks. In a cliients home, I would do my best to respect the environment and the pets space. Not surprising the pet or adjusting things from their usual place, like food or water bowls, to show I am not here to change pet routines but just to help them along. Additionally, gaining trust on walks and setting firm boundaries with the pet to keep myself and the pet safe when out and about.

My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.

About: I have loved all manner of critters ever since I was little! I would jump on every opportunity to be around animals, from cleaning friends' fish tanks while they were away to taking care of horses and mucking stalls in exchange for riding lessons. We've had our lovely pup Bosco for 12 years (since he was a couple months old). Steve the cat, came to us at just 3 weeks old about 5 years ago, and we took in the newest addition to our family, Kora the cat, a year and a half ago. I currently work from home so I'll be able to spend all day hanging out with and taking care of your pals. My work is very flexible so it goes where I go and scheduling is rarely a challenge no matter the hour! It is very important to me that your best pal has a great time while in my care so if your pet is on a specific schedule don't be afraid to get detailed! I’ve also cared for many animals over the years with medical needs, so I’ve become quite adept at creative pill camouflaging, breathing mask application, and the administration of various kinds of droplets (among other things).
