About: I'm excited to meet new pets and their people! While I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for animals. I have over 20 years of professional experience caring for pets and homes, along with a lifetime of loving animals of my own. Animals have been part of my life since childhood. I've cared for dogs of every size, age, and personality, as well as cats, birds, and other small animals. Most recently, I spent four years living in Hawaii with my own dog, cat, and bird, and have cared for pets throughout the Bay Area, including Marin, San Francisco, Oakland, Contra Costa, and Napa. I'm an outdoor enthusiast who loves mountain biking, hiking, camping, and exploring nature. If your dog enjoys adventure and you're comfortable with it, I'm happy to include longer walks or outdoor adventures tailored to their energy level. I enjoy keeping active dogs both physically and mentally engaged, while always respecting each pet's individual needs and routine. During COVID, while my massage therapy practice was on pause, I got a certification in canine massage, deepening my understanding of canine anatomy, mobility, and comfort. This experience has been especially valuable when caring for senior dogs, anxious pets, and those who benefit from right amount of exercise and a calm, gentle touch. Every pet is different, and I take pride in carefully following your instructions so they feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your beloved companion is receiving attentive, experienced care. I've always believed animals are some of life's greatest gifts. To me, they are like guardian angels on Earth. They teach us unconditional love, presence, and joy. It's a privilege to earn their trust and care for them as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my work around the pets I'm caring for whenever possible. About: I have loved all manner of critters ever since I was little! I would jump on every opportunity to be around animals, from cleaning friends' fish tanks while they were away to taking care of horses and mucking stalls in exchange for riding lessons. We've had our lovely pup Bosco for 12 years (since he was a couple months old). Steve the cat, came to us at just 3 weeks old about 5 years ago, and we took in the newest addition to our family, Kora the cat, a year and a half ago. I currently work from home so I'll be able to spend all day hanging out with and taking care of your pals. My work is very flexible so it goes where I go and scheduling is rarely a challenge no matter the hour! It is very important to me that your best pal has a great time while in my care so if your pet is on a specific schedule don't be afraid to get detailed! I’ve also cared for many animals over the years with medical needs, so I’ve become quite adept at creative pill camouflaging, breathing mask application, and the administration of various kinds of droplets (among other things).

A tired pup is a good pup. Daily Care Schedule 8:00-9:00 wake up, potty break, food, and freshwater. 11:00-2:00 Daily 30 min walk (Anytime between these times) Playtime about two hours after the daily walk and throughout the day. This includes fetching, tug, puzzle toys, and frozen kongs. 5:30 Food, Fresh Water, Potty Break *ITEMS TO BRING* Pets bed, leash, harness/collar, food and a worn clothing item of yours. ***Please note*** Dog boarding rates are for 24hrs.
