I have actually only used DogVacay when I travel out of town with Pierre, and it's hard to find someone who is willing to take him without meeting him first. Dalia actually SAVED ME when someone else bailed last minute and I needed someone to watch and board him for 5 nights. I GOT REALLY LUCKY that the other person bailed because Pierre had SO MUCH FUN at Dalia's! There were other dogs to play with, and ample toys that Dalia had at the ready (which Pierre tore up and Dalia was super cool about), and a yard that Pierre fully enjoyed. Dalia has the ability to communicate well with both dogs and humans alike. She sent me pictures and videos of Pierre every day he was with her and we texted about what a nut my dog can be. “Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

I’ve worked with many dogs in the past and was lucky enough to have dogs in my house growing up. I already have a set schedule with my dogs. We walk twice a day. About: Hello! I have been a dog and cat lover ever since I was very young. I have experience with pets of all shapes and sizes and love them all equally! I am available for dog and cat sitting while you are on vacation. Under my care, I will make sure to give your pet lots of snuggles and play time.
