“We are SO grateful we found Luna! Our usual dog care fell through right before a long out-of-state trip, and we were genuinely considering postponing because our senior dog, Indi, has recently been diagnosed with IBD and needs a specialized diet, daily meds, and a calm, attentive environment. She can get stressed easily in new places, which has previously led to tummy issues and even skin flare-ups — so we were very nervous about leaving her with someone new. From the very first message, Luna was incredibly warm, proactive, and thoughtful. She even offered to set up a meet-and-greet right away before we could ask, which immediately put us at ease. Once we dropped Indi off, it was clear Luna treats animals like family. Her own dog, Jim, also has IBD, so she had first-hand experience and comfort caring for a pup with similar needs. Throughout the two weeks, Luna provided detailed updates every single day — including meals, meds, walks, and yes, digestion reports (very appreciated 😂). She took so many adorable photos and videos that we could see how happy and relaxed Indi was. “Jeanette and family have taken care of Emily several times now and she always comes back calm and happy. Given her sort of one-person personality, I knew that Emily would need several day-care visits to get accustomed to Jeanette and her household before moving on to the next step of an overnight. With Jeanette's loving care and help I think Emily is ready for her next "big step" of overnighting! My dog is not one who makes instant friends (dog or human) usually, so this is an ongoing process and it is going well so far!”
“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I grew up as the daughter of a professional dog trainer, so thoughtful, attentive dog care has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My partner Mitch and I genuinely love having dogs in our home, and we aim to give every guest safe, loving, individualized care. Our sweet 15-year-old dog, Chunk, is a gentle and easygoing host. We also have a cat, so we’re unable to accept dogs with a history of aggression toward dogs or cats. What a stay with us looks like: • Individualized care for puppies, seniors, high-energy, reactive, and special-needs dogs • A comfortable home setting with a secure fenced yard, cozy resting spots, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of companionship • Daily exercise and enrichment tailored to your dog’s interests, from sniff walks and fetch to hikes, puzzles, and light training practice • Extra safety precautions, including a tracking collar during their stay and long leads for safe outdoor exploration • Thoughtful daily updates with high-quality photos and notes about how your dog is doing • Attentive routine care, including medications, post-adventure checks, basic grooming, and close attention to behavior and wellbeing • A fresh send-off, with brushing, ear and paw care, a gentle freshen-up, and washed bedding, blankets, or toys when needed I’m trained in canine CPR and happy to reinforce basic manners while following your preferred training methods. Every guest also goes home with a personalized stay report card with highlights, routines, favorite activities, and a few memorable moments from their visit. Our goal is simple: for your dog to feel less like they’re being boarded and more like they’re staying at a summer camp designed just for them. I work from home so I can be as available as your dog needs. My partner also is home for most of the day, and only works in the evenings so one of us is almost always home. We live surrounded by trails and parks so your dog will have ample adventures during their stay. Every dog will be treated with the same love and care as if they were our own. We have a large fenced yard that they are free to roam, and a cozy home with dog beds everywhere. We allow dogs on couch and bed, though I can maintain any rules you have in your home for consistency. We do also have a cat so we cannot accept any dogs that are in any way aggressive towards cats or small critters.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and have always taken care of a dog and/or cat. Friends, family and neighbors have often relied on me to walk their dog or pet sit. I'm also a teacher and am responsible and reliable. I'm currently a graduate student, so I have time on Wednesdays and weekends for pet sitting/walking. I currently have 2 goats and 2 cats at home, so I am comfortable with pet routines. I don't have space in my home to care for your pet, but I can do drop in visits and dog walks in your home/neighborhood.
About: I live in Hercules (East Bay) and only do IN HOME CARE for dogs and sometimes cats. I've found there is less stress if they stay in their own familiar surroundings with your smells; especially if they are blind or deaf or have elderly med needs.. I also give medications and understand senior dog needs. My small Chihuahua SOPHIE comes with me and gets along with everyone. I am semi-retired and will attend to all your instructions, sleep with your baby if that is what is required. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up we had 12 Dobermans on our property. Most of my childhood involves caring for them. Since then I’ve owned dogs, and worked on other platforms taking care of and walking other animals. You can trust your fur baby will be in the best of care. I am a stay at home mom, I am very flexible with your and your pets needs. I am open to any time you need me. I am very careful when dogs are in my home. I know being away from home can be scary for them. I don’t leave doors open- I treat every dog as if they could be runners. I try my best to relieve their anxiety and give them that extra attention or space.

About: I have spent my entire life with at least one dog in the household. I currently own two of my own that are ready to welcome slumber pawty guests! I have used Rover for years so I know what I like in a sitter, and plan to extend those same qualities and perks to our guests. My partner Ryan also works from home most days, and has also owned and cared for dogs and cats over the years. We both wake up early and let the pups out supervised in the fenced yard before breakfast. While the yard is fenced, we do keep a constant eye on them as they roam from the house to the yard throughout the day. Afternoon naps on the couch are typical. We usually go on early evening walks around the neighborhood if your pup has an exercise routine you’d like them to stick to. If they are good in public we are happy to take them on hikes. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have an additional fenced side yard with fake turf for when it’s raining and the pups don’t want to go outside.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up as a child at my grandparents and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years.I’ve been taking care of various pets while their owners are away at work, or on vacation.
