“Irina was wonderful. She took such wonderful care of our two dogs. She was very communicative and sent daily dog photos. Highly recommend and look forward to working with her in the future.”

“We couldn’t be more thankful for Suzy who came in on an extremely short notice situation when our normal sitter wasn’t able to make it. She was amazing with our puppy and just an amazing person and a truly nice and caring addition to our puppies small little world. We will most certainly be having her back into our home to take care of our little guy diesel. We are so looking forward to booking with Suzy again and wish we could give her six stars. Also her communication was excellent within five minutes of submitting a request she called and we talked on the phone and she made me feel comfortable and safe with her in our home and with our fur baby.”

About: I am a loving and friendly dog sitter! I grew up with two dogs, a poodle and a Chihuahua. My family currently has a bull terrier that I love very much. I also take care of my best friend's dog when she is out of town. I love dogs and going on walks so this combination is perfect for me. I am currently a nanny to one of nephews as needed but I am free every day during the summer to take care of your furry babies. I make sure I read their cues of needing water/food, when they need to pee/poop, when they're overstimulated, stressed, or happy. I also make sure to pet them and show them love by scratching them, patting them, and rubbing them. I also follow any schedule that is given to me to make sure they stick to their normal routine.
“Patti was warm and friendly and took excellent care of my home and pup while I was away. She made time to understand our needs and routines, and went the extra mile to ensure our dog enjoyed some of her favorite walks. I returned home to a happy puppy and an impeccable home.”

“Fuliang was great. Would definitely let him house sit again. This was our first time using Rover. We were away for 4 days. He stayed at our home and watched our two dogs. He sent us picture updates when they went for walks. There were no issues and the house was in good order when we returned.”

“Fiona took wonderful care of our home and senior dog. She made sure to provide daily updates with pictures and left our house immaculate. I would recommend her to anyone needing pet services and plan on using her services moving forward.”

About: I have a dog of my own, so I already have hands on experience cleaning, walking, bathing and feeding them. I think what sets me apart is that I pay attention to details of dogs physical and mental needs. I prioritize safety first and will communicate for updates. I currently work full-time weekdays from 9-5pm, I am fairly free after 5pm on weekdays so if there's a situation where you'll come home late, I can take care of your dog needs until you come home. As for weekends, I am fairly a homebody person. I usually spend more time with my dog watching over him. I can take over your pets for the weekend if you have plans or will be on vacation. When caring for pets in client's home, I follow instructions very well and follow routines that are set, this includes walking, feeding, training, potty breaks, etc. I keep everything the way it is and always update clients on what is happening.
“I returned to find my cat 20-25% less petty and vindictive than when I have returned from trips with an average sitter. No shredded shoes, no "draping" on the litter-box. Daniel does sitting well.”

“If you get the opportunity to book any service with Maikala, JUMP ON IT!! She was an overnight house/pet sitter for our 2 senior doggies for two weeks and I can't tell you the relief I felt after our meet & greet knowing our fur babies and house were in such EXCELLENT hands the whole 2 weeks we were away. One of our dogs is basically blind and deaf, both need daily oral meds, and the other one needs eye drops 3x/day. She handled all of that with ease on top of giving our pups lots of snuggles, walks and love. I'm pretty sure they were bummed to see us come home and her leave them (kidding, not kidding). She also sent videos, photos, and check-in texts throughout our vacation to continue to give us peace of mind. When an issue came up with the dogs getting into a little scuffle, she calmly handled the situation and appropriately contacted me; I appreciated her judgment in the moment. On top of all this, Maikala also took care of our fish, turtles, plants, garbage, mail and even unloaded our Instacart grocery bags on our last day away so we would have food when we got home! She is kind and trustworthy, warm yet professional. You can tell she really desires to provide the best care she can. Her services were worth every penny and we are definitely booking her for our next vacation!”
About: I have had dogs since I was 12 years old from small shih tzu breeds to tibetan mastiff‘s. I currently have two Alaskan Huskies and they love playing with other dogs and enjoy having dogs come over and play. I want to open our home to help out our community by taking care of other dogs that need caring for while their families are away on vacation or whatever the occasion is. Taking care of your dog or dogs would fit in with playtime with my dogs as well as going on walks twice a day around our neighborhood as well and trips to the dog park and visiting Pinole Pier trails. I have a fenced in yard and doggy doors that allow the dogs full access to inside the house. I don’t allow our dogs on the furniture but have many doggy beds all over the house so that the dogs have comfortable places to come hangout in and be in the same room as me and my wife.

Hercules pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had the pleasure of working with Teresa (Tess) recently for house sitting. Starting from the meet and greet, Tess was really professional. She inquired about all the necessary details and was open to learning about our dog’s behavior and how to operate the e collar and remote. She even walked with our dog with us during the meet and greet. We loved that she had experience sitting a cane corso, as our dog is also a mastiff. During the house/dog sit, Tess walked our dog 2 times a day, sometimes more and provided extended walks. She sent us 2 updates a day with pics. She fed our dog the home made food we provided her, which required defrosting and heating up in the microwave. She was communicative when she had questions about our dog’s behavior. I’m so happy she did because we were able to explain that that the asked about behavior was playful and she had energy to let out in the backyard. Tess also was tested with a lot of wild life like possums, skunks, squirrels and cats on the walk, she handled all scenarios like a pro and kept all animals safe. She gave Guava cuddles and attention when our dog asked for it :) I highly recommend Tess and will continue booking services with her.

Patti is an amazing pet and house sitter. I used her on an eight day trip away from home and she took very good care of my dog and my house. We talked and met up a couple times beforehand to go over everything. She was very communicative during my trip and she sent me pictures. My dog got an upset stomach while I was gone and she took extremely good care of her to get her back to 100%. Patti also helped organize some things around my house that I’ve been meaning to do, which is much appreciated! Patti is very knowledgeable with dogs and very keen on what they need. I will definitely be working with Patti in the future. Thank you so so much!
