Highly professional pet care Hi, I’m Kaja (pronounced “Kaya”) Welcome to our little family dog haven in Richmond! With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, I’ve developed a deep love, respect, and understanding of our four-legged companions. Over the years, I’ve worked at a dog daycares and had the honor of fostering a King Charles Spaniel, two giant Fila Brasileiros, and four lovable Pit Bulls. Each dog has taught me something new about patience, communication, and unconditional love. This is truly a family business — I run it with the help of my two daughters you can also find their profiles here on Rover who are here to help provide loving, attentive daytime care. Your pup will never be short on company, cuddles, or playtime! We currently have one friendly, well-socialized dog. A sweet poodle named Charming. We also have a secure backyard with a freshly updated dog run, perfect for spring and summer fun. Crate-trained pups are welcome, and I can crate your dog if needed. I work at an elementary school from 9am–3pm on weekdays, I’m available for boarding, house sitting, and drop-in visits outside of those hours — with my daughters helping hold it down during the day. 🦴 Important note about walks: Every stay or service includes one complimentary walk per day. Additional walks are available upon request and are offered on a sliding scale of $15 to $30 per walk, based on your dog’s needs and the length or intensity of the walk. We’re happy to tailor things to your pup and your budget! As a lifelong learner, I’m always reading and watching content to better understand dog behavior. I’m a big believer in Cesar Millan’s approach and highly recommend his book Cesar’s Way for any fellow dog lovers out there.
