I would jump on every opportunity to be around animals, from cleaning friends' fish tanks while they were away to taking care of horses and mucking stalls in exchange for riding lessons. We've had our lovely pup Bosco for 12 years (since he was a couple months old). Steve the cat, came to us at just 3 weeks old about 5 years ago, and we took in the newest addition to our family, Kora the cat, a year and a half ago. Suzy was such a blessing. She came on short notice and took excellent care of our dogs. One of them experienced a health issue while we were gone and Suzy helped us navigate the issue keeping us updated and reassured and helped to resolve the issue. Sierra has been fantastic. My return home was delayed by inclement weather and I was so stressed about the wellbeing of my dog. Sierra was a huge help, fitting in extra check-ins last minute, and doing so much to keep Winnie safe and sound as I scrambled to get home from out of state. Her efforts and updates helped me feel less anxious.
We had the pleasure of working with Teresa (Tess) recently for house sitting. Starting from the meet and greet, Tess was really professional. She inquired about all the necessary details and was open to learning about our dog’s behavior and how to operate the e collar and remote. She even walked with our dog with us during the meet and greet. We loved that she had experience sitting a cane corso, as our dog is also a mastiff. During the house/dog sit, Tess walked our dog 2 times a day, sometimes more and provided extended walks. She sent us 2 updates a day with pics. She fed our dog the home made food we provided her, which required defrosting and heating up in the microwave. She was communicative when she had questions about our dog’s behavior. I’m so happy she did because we were able to explain that that the asked about behavior was playful and she had energy to let out in the backyard. Tess also was tested with a lot of wild life like possums, skunks, squirrels and cats on the walk, she handled all scenarios like a pro and kept all animals safe. She gave Guava cuddles and attention when our dog asked for it :) I highly recommend Tess and will continue booking services with her.
Ella was excellent! Our dog was shy getting to know her but she came for multiple walks prior to our trip so they could get to know each other. She was kind and patient each time letting our dog go at her own pace. Ella sent updates and pictures regularly to let us know things were going well with both animals and followed all our instructions. (I'm also pretty sure the house was cleaner than when we left as well!) We will absolutely be hiring Ella again in the future, thank you for your care!

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
