About: I am a loving and friendly dog sitter! I grew up with two dogs, a poodle and a Chihuahua. My family currently has a bull terrier that I love very much. I also take care of my best friend's dog when she is out of town. I love dogs and going on walks so this combination is perfect for me. I am currently a nanny to one of nephews as needed but I am free every day during the summer to take care of your furry babies. I make sure I read their cues of needing water/food, when they need to pee/poop, when they're overstimulated, stressed, or happy. I also make sure to pet them and show them love by scratching them, patting them, and rubbing them. I also follow any schedule that is given to me to make sure they stick to their normal routine.

About: I have loved all manner of critters ever since I was little! I would jump on every opportunity to be around animals, from cleaning friends' fish tanks while they were away to taking care of horses and mucking stalls in exchange for riding lessons. We've had our lovely pup Bosco for 12 years (since he was a couple months old). Steve the cat, came to us at just 3 weeks old about 5 years ago, and we took in the newest addition to our family, Kora the cat, a year and a half ago. I currently work from home so I'll be able to spend all day hanging out with and taking care of your pals. My work is very flexible so it goes where I go and scheduling is rarely a challenge no matter the hour! It is very important to me that your best pal has a great time while in my care so if your pet is on a specific schedule don't be afraid to get detailed! I’ve also cared for many animals over the years with medical needs, so I’ve become quite adept at creative pill camouflaging, breathing mask application, and the administration of various kinds of droplets (among other things).

2nd booking with Liliana and Gerardo, and they were wonderful. We received frequent updates and photos and our pets were comfortable and well cared for. Our house was spotless when we returned, cleaner than we had left it! Looking forward to working with them again.
Rita did a fabulous job! She sent great pictures and videos of the pups getting loved on and even decided to stay a bit later on our return day when she noticed we were coming home later than what I put on the Rover app. Most importantly, my house was exactly as I left it. We joined Rover hoping to connect with someone who is kind, responsible, caring about animals and above all, patient, who we could forge a relationship with that would be durable for the long-term. Ikeena has all of these qualities. As a family that travels regularly, whose family and friends have generally all grown-out of the idea of a week at our place as a mini-getaway, we are so thrilled to have connected with her. We got to know each other over zoom and some schedule walks and impromptu hellos and Ikeena dealt with our nerves of building trust with aplomb. Never were we made to feel silly for wanting to meet again or another walk or for having a several pages long doc about staying at our house and caring for our sweet little brown boy, Chicks. During her recent stay here we barely worried about a thing. Ikeena kept in touch with us regularly and Chicks seriously enjoyed being not just cared for, but spoiled by her. She went above and beyond!

Sierra has been fantastic. My return home was delayed by inclement weather and I was so stressed about the wellbeing of my dog. Sierra was a huge help, fitting in extra check-ins last minute, and doing so much to keep Winnie safe and sound as I scrambled to get home from out of state. Her efforts and updates helped me feel less anxious.
Mason and Alex were super flexible and helped us on a last minute sitting request. They were very friendly and supportive with our senior dog care plan. We came home to happy dogs and kitty as well as a clean home. They also kept us updated with daily check ins and photos. We recommend them for future house sitting requests.
We had the pleasure of working with Teresa (Tess) recently for house sitting. Starting from the meet and greet, Tess was really professional. She inquired about all the necessary details and was open to learning about our dog’s behavior and how to operate the e collar and remote. She even walked with our dog with us during the meet and greet. We loved that she had experience sitting a cane corso, as our dog is also a mastiff. During the house/dog sit, Tess walked our dog 2 times a day, sometimes more and provided extended walks. She sent us 2 updates a day with pics. She fed our dog the home made food we provided her, which required defrosting and heating up in the microwave. She was communicative when she had questions about our dog’s behavior. I’m so happy she did because we were able to explain that that the asked about behavior was playful and she had energy to let out in the backyard. Tess also was tested with a lot of wild life like possums, skunks, squirrels and cats on the walk, she handled all scenarios like a pro and kept all animals safe. She gave Guava cuddles and attention when our dog asked for it :) I highly recommend Tess and will continue booking services with her.
