About: I've been pet sitting and house sitting for the same family for over 7 years, caring for a variety of pets including a dog, multiple cats (from 1–3 at a time), fish, and even guinea pigs. Over the years, I've gotten used to juggling different routines, temperaments, and care needs— whether it’s giving meds, keeping up with playtime, or just making sure everyone feels safe and loved while their people are away. I’ve also had dogs my whole life— there’s never been a time I wasn’t living with one— so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of dog personalities, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. What sets me apart is my consistency and genuine love for animals. I take care of pets like they’re my own and always try to make sure they feel calm, cared for, and happy while you're gone. I just returned from studying abroad and work two days a week at Trader Joe's! That means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets the attention, care, and company they deserve— whether it’s for daily visits, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep everything as close to their usual routine as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure to follow any specific instructions you leave, whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or favorite walking routes. I’m respectful of your home, clean up after myself and the pets, and always double-check doors, gates, and anything safety-related before leaving. I also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pets are happy and in good hands. I treat every animal like they’re my own and every home with the same respect I’d want for mine.

“Anne was really great with my at times challenging little guy. She was available and communicative leading up to the stay, and kept in touch while I was away. Anne is patient and kind. I would 100% recommend her for dog/house sitting. Thank you, Anne!”

“Felix was great with our pup. We did a meet and greet and he was on time and patient with our barking pup and then he met us again before our trip to collect our key (since we had a very early morning flight). He was also kind enough to change his plans the day of our arrival, so that he could stay late with our pup since we had a late flight back. He also took our pup for great walks, hikes when it wasn't raining! Trustworthy and responsible.”

“Sierra and Karma watched our THREE dogs over winter break for a week. They are so friendly and easy to work with. I could tell they both love animals as soon as we met them. Our doggos are spoiled, and Sierra and Karma followed the various directions we left them. And we came back to a pristine house. I highly recommend them for your pet sitting needs!”

“We were so happy to find Mindy to watch our dog, Monti. Mindy is clearly a dog lover, and our dog was immediately comfortable with her. Mindy kept me updated with photos and texts throughout the weekend, and I came home to happy and clean home. I’m so happy they bonded, and I would highly recommend Mindy to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Thanks Mindy!”

“I would love to thank Christine for all love with my baby fur. Zoey loves Christine and as soon I open the door zoey gets so excited and that melts my heart. Christine is kind and affectionate we love having her at our home taking care of our baby fur.”

“Super friendly and responded really fast. She sent a picture of her taking my dog on a walk which I appreciated! Will book with her again:)”

“Wow! Isaiah did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 dogs. He kept us updated during our trip with pictures and how the pups were doing. The house looked great, clean and tidy when we got home. I would definitely hire him again! 5 stars!!”

“Hannah did an amazing job taking care of our dog while we were vacationing. She even tended to the garden and kept the house just as clean as when we departed. You won’t find a better caregiver on this app.”

About: I grew up in a home with multiple pets at any given time, from the obedient family hunting dogs (Brittany Spaniels) and the rambunctious and playful golden retriever, to the feisty kitten and the cuddly senior cats, and it was always my duty to care for them. From helping train the puppies to feeding the dogs in the morning and night, to taking them out for potty breaks and long walks or swims, I have been the primary caregiver of many wonderful pets throughout my lifetime. I even studied Wildlife Fish and Conservation Biology at UC Davis because my love of animals was so strong, working with various wild and farm animals as a student as well. I used my love of pets and knowledge of how to care for and respect them to start offering friends and family long and short-term pet sitting and walking services as a side hustle. I have enjoyed the work so much that I decided to come to Rover to find even more pets to care for and clients to help! This is my full-time job, so I am able to be flexible and focus entirely on the pets in my care, meaning I am often available 7 days a week with some flexibility. In general, I only pet sit or walk one household of pets at a time, as I do not find it wise to mix groups unless both their owners request it. For example, this could look like only walking your 2 Labradoodles together, returning them home safely and then going to walk another household's German Shepherd. I offer dog walks ranging from 20 minutes to 1+ hours, 7 days a week, 8am to 9pm. I offer dog and cat sitting in the client's home. I offer in-home cat sitting for 1 household of cats at a time. Safety is always my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, I create a secure, pet-friendly environment: no toxic plants, small objects, or open access to food or cleaning supplies. I keep doors and gates locked, use baby gates when needed, and make sure each pet has their own safe, quiet space to relax. For walks, I always double-check that collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure before heading out. I avoid unsafe areas, keep a close eye on surroundings, and never introduce pets to unfamiliar animals unless approved. For cats, I make sure windows are screened and that they can't access dangerous places like open cabinets or appliances. Whether at my home or yours, I follow your pet’s routine, monitor for any signs of stress or illness, and always keep a pet first-aid kit on hand. I also send regular updates, so you can feel confident your furry friend is in safe, loving hands.

“I just booked Tia for the first time and she really went above and beyond in house-sitting and caring for my two cats! She provided multiple updates and pictures/videos each day, and she showed attention to detail in following all of my helicopter-mom care instructions 😂 She was also patient with my more shy cat (who was snuggling up with her by the end of the weekend!). I will definitely be booking Tia again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

“Erica was awesome! ! She was on time and friendly! We were able to get her on short notice on a Holiday weekend! When we returned our pups were happy and relaxed and sad to see her go! Our dogs have a new Bestie in Oregon 👍”
