About: I create a calm, attentive environment where pets feel safe and relaxed. I host only one or two dogs at a time, so each one receives plenty of personal attention. Because of my space and the peaceful environment I maintain, medium-sized dogs (up to about 70 pounds) and smaller dogs tend to be the best fit for my home. I’m certified in Pet CPR, Healing Touch for Animals, and Reiki, and I’m very tuned in to each pet’s personality and energy so they settle in quickly and feel comfortable here. I also volunteered for five years at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum rehabilitation center, assisting in both the mammal department and hospital caring for injured wildlife. That experience deepened my understanding of animal behavior and the calm, attentive care animals need to feel safe. Dogs who are friendly, well-socialized, house-trained, and enjoy a calm home environment tend to do especially well here. I also care for cats and am happy to follow routines that help pets feel relaxed and secure. Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I host only 1–2 dogs at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.
