About: I am a full time caregiver for animals of all kinds, including years spent interning and volunteering at rescues and sanctuaries. When in these positions I care for about a hundred beautiful beings 24/7, from fluffy little rescued babies all the way to elders like a 23 year old dog. When I am sitting for you, I am only working with and focused on the animals in your household. I offer calm, empathic care, defined by my insight since birth that each and every animal is a unique, sensitive individual worthy of respect and protection. I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.

About: I've had pets most of my life - cats, dogs, and even a snake. My wife and I had a dog who passed a couple of years ago, and now we have two dogs who are 2 and almost 2. I'm a middle school teacher, and my wife works from home, so someone will be with the dogs most of the time if they're at our house. We're comfortable with dogs of any age and can handle excitable puppy energy, as well as provide medications. If your dog(s) are at our house, they'll get to run and play with our dogs, who rarely meet a dog they don't like. I'm a teacher who is gone during the day, and my wife works from home. If I'm at your house, I will leave to go teach for the day, but at our house, my wife can provide potty breaks or play time during the day. Weekends are flexible. I often dog-sit for our neighbors when they are out of town, and I give the dogs lots of love, pets, and play time. I feed them on their parents' schedules with appropriate food and medicine. For the senior dog, I lift him to be able ot go outside and potty. Whenever I'm caring for my dogs or others, I follow the instructions for those pets and give them lots of love and attention.
