“Having to leave behind a pet is already heart breaking enough and then to look for a reliable pet sitter is another challenge. Fortunately we found Vanson, he took care of our dog, Brodie, for 2.5 weeks and kept in touch with us the entire time with messages, pictures and videos of their activities. It was comforting to know that our pet was in good hands and well cared for. We will definitely entrust Brodie with Vanson again in the future.”

“Kolten and Julia were responsive and took excellent care of Dexter. This was our first time using Rover and they made sure it was an excellent one. The sent many pictures of Dexter during his stay. They made the experience very simple which helped us from worrying.”

“Natalie was amazing. She took such great care of my dog and kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I really appreciate how reliable, kind, and attentive she was. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet. Thank you so much! 🐾🩵”

“This was our first time leaving our puppy behind and Karen was amazing! She sent plenty of updates and pictures showing us how Cooper was doing and he looked like he was having the best time in every picture! He was well taken care of and we will definitely bring him back whenever we need a sitter again.”

“Stefanie was so great with our boy. From the start she was super communicative and attentive to his needs. We got daily updates and she was flexible when we had some last minute change of plans. Overall I felt at ease knowing our boy was in good hands.”

“Had an absolutely amazing experience having Amanda and Michell watch our Lucy. We’d never left a pet with strangers before, and they couldn’t have made the process more comfortable. Amanda sent daily photos and a brief note on what they did that day. Lucy got to go on many long walks and hikes, and really became part of their family. At the end of her stay, we received a report card on Lucy’s behavior, which was the cutest thing ever. Without hesitation, I’d use Amanda and Michell again, and highly recommend them to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

“We felt so comfortable leaving our pup Henna with Maria and Kevan’s family! They did a great job keeping us updated and Henna seemed to have a very fun time there. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her!”

“Will 100% use Barsha again! She took great loving care of our three year old spazzy English cocker spaniel. Loved getting daily picture updates - at least twice a day. Easy communication. Great to know our pup was in great hands.”

“We had a great experience with Sarah! She was a great communicator, took note of our care instructions, kept us updated during our trip, and most importantly, our dog had a great time with Sarah’s pup and family.”

“Sant was absolutely wonderful with Westley! He was incredibly attentive and took great care of him while we were away. His communication was excellent throughout his stay, and he regularly sent us pictures and videos, which really gave us peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for.”

“. Felt extremely comfortable leaving our little puppy. They sent lots of pictures, which helped being that I was sad to leave him behind. This was the first time boarding our puppy and they made the process smooth and pleasant. We will be back.”

“Sofiia and her husband were absolutely amazing with our dog! They took her in last minute and were so caring and attentive! Will definitely be using again! Our dog came back happy and rested.”

“Barley has stayed with Ulunma several times now. He always enjoys his stay and is keen to get out of the car when we arrive at her house. Ulunma is very kind and quick to respond to dog sitting requests.”

“Caitlin is very approachable and accommodating. She looked after Chance well and sent us daily update with photos. Chance was happy staying with her and got along very well with her dog Buster. We have no doubt in using her again and highly recommend her services.”

“Kushram exceeded our expectations while boarding our three-year-old French Bulldog, Wizzy, over the holidays. We were understandably nervous about leaving Wizzy with an unfamiliar family for an extended 17-day stay, especially since it was her first time being boarded. Kushram immediately put us at ease by inviting us to a meet-and-greet before the boarding began. We had the pleasure of meeting his family, visiting their lovely home, and seeing the environment where Wizzy would be staying. This experience helped us build trust right from the start. Throughout our 17-day vacation, Kushram consistently sent videos and photos, along with thoughtful updates on Wizzy’s health and well-being. He was incredibly responsive via text and conversations, always replying within the hour. When we picked Wizzy up, all of her belongings were beautifully cleaned, organized, and packed—nothing missing, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the service was top-tier. We are deeply grateful to Kushram and his family for taking such great care of Wizzy, and we would absolutely work with him again.”

“Not only is Peter beyond personable and caring, but it’s clear how much he loves dogs and how good he is with them. Super communicative and sent me updates and photos throughout my trip. Highly recommend!!”

“My dog Gracie, who is shy, really enjoyed staying with Nadine. She especially loved Nadine‘s dog Cosmo, and happily played with her. Nadine sent me pictures and videos every day and that set my heart at rest that Gracie was having a wonderful time. I highly recommend Nadine. Gracie will be seen Nadine, Cosmo, and the other dogs again. Thank you so much, Nadine.”

Cat caregivers near you - Glen Frazer
Prices are estimates per visit for 1 cat. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.

About: Since I started caring for loved ones' cats and adopted one of my own, I've learned what special creatures they are. Friends and family trust me with their care and I fall in love with their unique personalities every time. I clean litter boxes at least once a day, provide fresh water and food, keep track of food intake and frequency/quality of bathroom breaks, make sure they get lots of play time, and administer topical and oral medication as needed. I also have experience with senior cats and cats with chronic kidney disease.
“Incredibly kind, communicative, and attentive! This was my first time hiring a pet-sitter/house-sitter and Isaiah was fantastic about sending daily photos. Could not imagine booking with anyone else in the future.”

“I was a little anxious about leaving my two cats for eight days for the first time in several years, but Jenna put us all at ease and took such great care of the cats that they barely noticed when I got back. :-)”

About: I grew up with pets all my life, and now have 2 dogs of my own. I volunteered and worked as a foster at a few animal shelters. I know how to interact and Handle cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I frequently cat sit for friends and family when needed. I know how to administer different medications as well. I like to keep everything nice and clean and the litter boxes fresh. I love animals and will make sure to keep yours safe and healthy!
“Nancy was great with our Gus. Although he is 8 years old, this was the first time he was home by himself for an extended period so we wanted to make sure he got lots of love and visits. Nancy sent us pictures and updates while we were gone. We could tell Gus enjoyed her visits and he was well taken care of.”

“Merlette was super helpful when my travel got delayed and I needed a local cat sitter. She asked thoughtful questions and dropped in on my pet cat, and administered her medication.”

“Stephanie was fantastic! We booked last minute and she fit us in. She took wonderful care of our cat - coaxed her out of hiding and made her comfortable. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: I've taken care of cats and even helped train them since I was a toddler. I absolutely love caring for cats. I’m very patient and gentle, and I give them time to warm up at their own pace. I’m often told, “They never come out for people,” or “How did you get them to play? They’re usually so shy!” I truly enjoy getting to know each cat’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable, curious, and secure while you’re away.

About: Cats have a special place in my heart. When taking neighborhood walks, I'll stop for any cat that wants a pet. My friends call me the cat whisperer because I can get even the most shy cat to warm up to me. I've had cats since I was 7 years old and currently have a fluffy tuxedo whose litter box is cleaned daily and who gets brushed, fed, and played with every day.
About: Previously owned and trained our family dog until his passing some years ago. I have birds, fish, and have been caring for family friends' dogs. I am currently willing to help, care, and walk your dogs. A great way to fill in the time as I stay home, go to school, and improve life as to looking forward to care for your dog. My dog was fed a mix of wet and dry food, water bowl always full, and daily drive/park/play/walks/hikes (regarding the weather at the current moment of time).

About: I'm excited to meet new pets and their people! While I'm new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for animals. I have over 20 years of professional experience caring for pets and homes, along with a lifetime of loving animals of my own. Animals have been part of my life since childhood. I've cared for dogs of every size, age, and personality, as well as cats, birds, and other small animals. Most recently, I spent four years living in Hawaii with my own dog, cat, and bird, and have cared for pets throughout the Bay Area, including Marin, San Francisco, Oakland, Contra Costa, and Napa. I'm an outdoor enthusiast who loves mountain biking, hiking, camping, and exploring nature. If your dog enjoys adventure and you're comfortable with it, I'm happy to include longer walks or outdoor adventures tailored to their energy level. I enjoy keeping active dogs both physically and mentally engaged, while always respecting each pet's individual needs and routine. During COVID, while my massage therapy practice was on pause, I got a certification in canine massage, deepening my understanding of canine anatomy, mobility, and comfort. This experience has been especially valuable when caring for senior dogs, anxious pets, and those who benefit from right amount of exercise and a calm, gentle touch. Every pet is different, and I take pride in carefully following your instructions so they feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your beloved companion is receiving attentive, experienced care. I've always believed animals are some of life's greatest gifts. To me, they are like guardian angels on Earth. They teach us unconditional love, presence, and joy. It's a privilege to earn their trust and care for them as if they were my own.
“Highly recommend. Caroline was fantastic with our very needy cats that have to be separated (they fight). She always comes when she says she will, keeps you in the loop of day-to-day activities, and sends lots of pictures. Would recommend for anyone who needs a cat sitter.”

“Megan was so attentive with our two babies! She was very communicative with us each day she checked on our cats, and gave them extra love and treats on Christmas Eve while we were away! Her initial walkthrough before starting was VERY thorough and she keeps track so that another walkthrough won’t be necessary for future rebooking. She also went above and beyond and vacuumed our living room so we could come home to a nice, clean house! We will definitely be recommending Megan to anyone in the area in need of pet sitting and will definitely rebook with her for any future pet sitting needs!”

“Christopher was great! He was super communicative throughout the entire stay, and I felt like our cats were in good hands. I would definitely have him watch our cats again in the future.”

About: I have loved animals since I first learned what an animal was and 27 years into life I haven't stopped! I have 7+ years of dog/cat/house sitting experience and I can administer medications if needed, along with taking care of other typical pet sitting tasks such as feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and of course, offering lots of affection and pets! Currently I’m in school (mostly online) for pre vet-med and working just as a pet sitter so I have plenty of free time to watch over your fur babies! :) I am always willing to personalize my services to best conform to your pets' medical, physical, and emotional well-being, just let me know what specific needs your pet(s) have and I will cater to them!

About: While working at a pet boarding facility, came across many different cat breeds and temperaments that has given me a lot of experience. I know how to properly feed and take care of the cats, as well as, administer medicine if needed.
About: I have been dog sitting and house sitting since I was around 10 and have helped a lot of neighbors, friends, and family. I love training puppies the basics like sit and shake. I am currently in college but I do it all online so I have plenty of time to play and take care of the animals. I try my best to accommodate the animal I am watching by playing with their toys, feeding them as scheduled, and taking them on walks.

“We had a great experience with Stefanie! She was extremely professional, responsive, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Our Shiba Inu, Arashi, can be a challenging breed, but she handled him with ease and confidence, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Her home is very well set up for dog care, whether for daytime stays or overnight boarding. Everything felt safe, organized, and thoughtful. We really appreciated her communication throughout and would absolutely trust her with Arashi again. Highly recommend!”

“Best dog care experience I have ever had! Blueberry was handled with the utmost professional care and exceeded my expectations. Vanson is so attentive to my dog's personal needs by ensuring she is given her treats I provided and following any instructions given. He has a wonderful backyard with sweet doggos of his own who are very playful and got along great with my dog. He ensures a wonderful experience for both my dog and myself. Took my dog on walks which I could see in the Rover app and sent pics throughout the day of my dog. Such peace of mind! My dog didn't even want to go home with me after having such a good time. Book with Vanson, you will not regret it!”

“We absolutely love Connie, but more importantly, so does our little pups. Every time Connie comes by for a walk or to pick him up, he is so excited to see her. That's because Connie is amazing, loving and caring. Connie has come by and walked Bailey, he's gone to her house for daycare and overnight stays. She's always sweet and excited to see Bailey which makes us extremely happy because we know she cares for Bailey as much as we do. The best part is every time Bailey comes home from day care he's so exhausted because he's had so much fun playing at her house. Finding Connie to watch with Bailey was one of the easiest and best decisions we made! ”

“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

“Hannah is extremely knowledgeable and caring about all the dogs she takes care of! She took great care of my little pup we are happy with her service. It’s obvious she very experienced with taking care of all dogs”

About: I grew up as the daughter of a professional dog trainer—my mother—and have carried on her love for all animals. I was taught how to handle reactive, nervous dogs with calm gentle confidence, keep high-energy dogs busy with engaging activities, and give mindful care of dogs that have any special needs. Dogs have been a part of my life since birth, including my 15 year old boy Chunk that is so disarming, he makes an excellent companion for even the most nervous dogs. I’ve gained a broad amount of experience as the go-to enthusiastic dog sitter for all my friends and family’s pets. I would love share a warm, welcoming home with your pet where nightly snuggles on the couch are the norm. I work from home so I can be as available as your dog needs. My partner also is home for most of the day, and only works in the evenings so one of us is almost always home. We live surrounded by trails and parks so your dog will have ample adventures during their stay. Every dog will be treated with the same love and care as if they were our own. We have a large fenced yard that they are free to roam, and a cozy home with dog beds everywhere. We allow dogs on couch and bed, though I can maintain any rules you have in your home for consistency. We do also have a cat so we cannot accept any dogs that are in any way aggressive towards cats or small critters.
About: I have several years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, seniors, shy or anxious dogs, and high‑energy breeds, as well as those requiring extra medical care. I am comfortable administering medications, following specific routines, and providing attentive, personalized care for each dog. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and energy levels, and I’m always mindful of subtle signs of stress or discomfort. For nervous or sensitive dogs, I take a calm and patient approach, allowing them to feel safe and comfortable at their own pace. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I tailor care to match their personality and routine. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where your dog is treated like family and feels right at home. I am available for dog boarding on both weekdays and weekends, offering flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Whether it’s a short stay or an extended visit, I ensure consistent care, attention, and a comfortable routine for your pup throughout their stay. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home environment for pets. My home has a large fenced backyard where dogs can play, exercise, and enjoy outdoor time safely. I make sure every pet feels relaxed, cared for, and treated like family. I closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and special care instructions. Safety, trust, cleanliness, and plenty of attention are always my top priorities.
About: Hi there! Welcome to my page! I moved to the Bay Area 3 years ago from Sacramento & I currently live in the East Bay. I had a male Persian cat named Blue and a female chihuahua named Cheese who recently passed away. I adopted a doodle 3 years ago named Honey who is such a joy! Growing up I had a German Shepherd, Doberman, Beagle, Mini American Eskimo & cats so I’ve been around a lot of different dogs & cats. I love hiking, traveling & trying new restaurants (especially since everything is so dog friendly here!). I’m mainly interested in Rover for fun because I love animals so much. I can’t wait to meet everyone’s fur babies & explore the Bay Area more! Please feel free to reach out to me anytime if you ever have questions. Thank you! I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’d love to get out and play with your pets! I have a very flexible schedule so whenever you need me, I’ll be there! When visiting someone’s home, I like to follow the fur babies lead. First things first, potty. Then, are they hungry? Do they want to play? What about cuddles? And of coarse, a walk if they’re up for it!

About: I don't have any ratings at this time because I just signed up with Rover on August 22, 2026. Please kindly choose me and help me build the greatest 5 star rated service. Thank you so very much. I am a retired, stay at home, middle aged, single lady with a 12 year old neutered male Jack Russell Terrier angel of my own that I adopted 12 years ago, and I have been taking care of him all along. I have over 12 years experience caring for my own angel, and I have also provided full time care for many days to family and friends' pets in the past. Since childhood, I have been magnetically drawn to animals of all kinds. I have such profoundly deep love for animals that I mostly just live for them, in a manner such that I have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars for them, I make sacrifices in my personal life in such a manner such that I can increase my donations to animals, and I get greater joy by sacrificing for animals than by treating myself. With my pet care services, I hope to increase my donations to animals and provide companionship of his own kind to my own angel. In me, your pet will have a person caring for him/her that feels true love for him/her in the bottom of her heart. I own a spacious home with a spacious fenced yard, where I live alone with my angel. My neighborhood is tucked away and is extremely safe. I am eager to meet your angel baby, please give him/her my love, tell him/her that we are BFFs, and that we are going to have the greatest times together. We will celebrate life to the fullest together! I am retired, and I stay at home full time. I am available for pet care 24/7/365. No time or day restriction. Humbly at your, and your pet's service all the time. I own a spacious home with a fenced yard. I will personally escort your pet to the backyard for their personal private activities and to play. I also have a very gentle 20 pound neutered dog, who is extremely well behaved around other dogs. He doesn't bark at other dogs, he just wants to play, and he is never aggressive. Your pet will have company of his/her own kind. In my home, your pet will be free to jump on the couches and the bed. With your approval, he/she may sleep with me in my bed, just like my dog does. If you prefer another arrangement, please specify it, and it will be satisfied. Periodically, I will take pictures and videos and share with you so that you can see how pampered your pet is in my care. I may read bedtime stories before falling asleep, give gentle pampering massages, etc, with your approval off course. If I am pet sitting in your home, your instructions and preferences will be followed and satisfied. I am highly accommodating.
“Thank you for taking good care of Megatron, she sits on our laps alot at home so it’s great to know she’s comfortable at her day care and was able to do the same. Will rebook soon.”

“Neela was friendly and communicative. She read my care instructions and asked questions. My pup Katara can sometimes get stressed in new environments but she seemed at home in the photo updates and she came home relaxed and happy. I already booked Katara's next stay with Neela!”

“Nicole was a great day care for my dog today! We arranged a little meet and greet the weekend before, which was such an amazing touch. My doggy came back happy! I would definitely reach out to Nicole again :)”

“Jeanette and family have taken care of Emily several times now and she always comes back calm and happy. Given her sort of one-person personality, I knew that Emily would need several day-care visits to get accustomed to Jeanette and her household before moving on to the next step of an overnight. With Jeanette's loving care and help I think Emily is ready for her next "big step" of overnighting! My dog is not one who makes instant friends (dog or human) usually, so this is an ongoing process and it is going well so far!”

We have a large, fenced in yard that my dogs enjoy sunbathing in and plenty of time for long walks. I WFH and have a very flexible schedule that allows for last minute requests and long term availability for your travel needs. My family has really enjoyed having additional dogs here to spend time with and we have plenty of hands on deck to meet everyone’s needs. I have a fenced in yard and can keep my eye on your pet throughout the day. Feeding schedules, outside time, walks, etc are all easy for me to accommodate!
“Barsha was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover for my 11 month old Havanese-Shih Tzu-Poodle mix (Puka) and Barsha made it so easy. Her communication was insanely quick when I sent a last minute day care request and she explained how it all worked. The day of day care was amazing, I got tons of pictures and videos and when I picked Puka up she was so happy! Barsha felt like family immediately and I will be using her again for Puka's care!”

“Our pup had another great visit with Darren and his family! She is happy and comfortable during drop off and pick up. She loves to play with their dog and they take her on walks. We are grateful for Darren M and his family doggie daycare.”

“Justine is nothing short of amazing! We were looking for someone who could handle the puppy energy of our sweet, 8 month-old Shih Tzu, and Justine and Bodi fit the bill. After a couple initial visits at their house, we brought Ollie over for a full day, and he absolutely LOVED it. Justine is fantastic. She’s professional, super responsive, and is just generally warm and kind. She understood our anxieties around the touchy nature of socializing a puppy, and she handled it all with grace and ease. We feel so lucky to have Justine as an invaluable resource not just for us, but for Ollie, too. Thanks so much!”

About: I offer calm, personalized care in a quiet home where your dog is treated like family, not one of many in a busy boarding facility or a home with multiple dogs. I typically host one household at a time, so your dog gets my full attention, genuine affection, and all the cuddles they can handle. My home is the right fit for friendly dogs who love companionship, walks, and settling into a peaceful routine. I'm especially drawn to dogs who thrive with one-on-one attention rather than the noise and energy of a busy multi-dog environment. I'm certified in Pet CPR, Healing Touch for Animals, and Reiki. And beyond the credentials, I'm deeply attuned to each dog's personality and energy. That attunement is what helps them settle in quickly and feel genuinely at ease. My connection to animals runs deep. I spent five years volunteering at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, working in both the mammal department and wildlife hospital with injured and recovering animals. That experience sharpened my understanding of animal behavior and reinforced something I already believed: animals feel safety before they understand it. My goal is always to create that feeling from the moment your dog arrives! Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone for long periods and receive plenty of attention, walks, and companionship throughout the day. When pets stay in my home, they become part of a calm and comfortable daily routine. I primarily host dogs from 1 household at a time so each pet receives plenty of individual attention. Dogs here enjoy daily walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime, and I’m home much of the day since I work from home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and settled. For drop-in visits or walks in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, litter care for cats, playtime, and companionship. I’m happy to send photo updates so owners know their pets are doing well.
About: Animals have always been part of my life, and looking after them is something I genuinely enjoy. I have been pet sitting for many years, for friends and family, and I treat every pet like one of my own. Allowing me to spend time with your pet is a privilege that I will not take for granted. I look after cats, dogs, puppies, senior pets, birds, lizards, and small animals and offer drop-in visits, and dog walking in Benicia. I will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout, and I will stick to your pet's routine. I have cared for animals my whole life whether it be my own or for others. My volunteer work at the humane society, Suisun Wildlife Center, and International Bird Rescue has strengthened my passion of caring for pets. I would love to meet you and your pet before the first booking. I am newly retired and have a very flexible schedule. My availability will work around caring for my own fur babies. I live near a neighborhood park which I can use for dog walking or any other favorite spot your pet prefers. I will be sure to understand your pet's individual needs and routine. I will do everything I can to foster a fun and enriching experience for your fur baby. You can rest easy knowing your pet will be safe and loved during each visit or walk.

“Jenna is our senior lab’s weekly dog walker. She provides excellent communication with how our pup is doing and shows Sadie the same care she would give her own dogs. Thank you, Jenna, for being such a reliable, helpful caregiver for our girl 🐶”
“Kylee was fantastic! Showed up on time everyday and my dog always came home tired and happy! She even went above and beyond to make sure Moose got extra care and attention.”

About: I grew up with animals all my life. From cats and dogs to parrots, mice, sugar gliders etc. I own 2 dogs myself and love them with all my heart. I’m comfortable with different temperaments and ages. I fostered and volunteered at several shelters throughout my life. I love animals and will make sure to take care of yours like my own. I have a flexible schedule and own a vehicle which makes same day bookings a breeze. If you ever need someone to help I’m there :) My dogs are spoiled and loved. I keep them safe and healthy. I would do my best to take care of your pets like you want me to.

“Vanessa is friendly, communicative, and reliable. I really appreciated how patient she was in allowing my pup Leo to take his time warming up to her—it made a big difference. Highly recommend!”

About: Currently taking reservation for Labor Day!! Hello! My name is Hosana and I am currently an undergraduate college student at UCSD. I have loved animals for as long as I could remember! Growing up in a smaller home, I was never able to own a dog of my own, but being obsessed with animals, I wouldn't let this stop me from being around them an gaining as much experience as I could by taking care of pets for friends and family throughout my life. Eventually I started working at a local doggy daycare/ pet boarding facility in Walnut Creek known as, North Main Pet Lodge. I have about a year's worth of experience working professionally with a multitude of different dog breeds and taking care of their daily needs. I've worked with both dogs and cats, and other small animals such as hamsters, rabbits, and such and know how to administer medication, bathe, feed, and do other tasks related to pet care. Staying flexible and knowing how to deal with all sorts of situations is something I have come to be very acquainted with through my work experience. Communication is of big importance to me and making sure all pet parents stay informed throughout their stay away from their pets. Currently I am working on my finishing my degree online and no longer need to attend classes on campus. Therefore I will be in the bay area permanently and am looking to work with those who need the occasional sitter. Have been actively sitting for my clients since 2025. Please feel free to contact me and help this college student out with your business, as I also look forward to spending time with your pets! Thanks for reading :) Currently taking online classes. Would be ideal for pet parents who want someone to be at the house often, but also able to step away for 1-4 hrs a few days of the weekdays. Weekends I am always available all day. Almost always at home for morning, afternoon potty breaks, evening, overnight. When in a client's home, the pet's safety and health are my number one concern. With my experience, I have learned several tricks that help with a variety of temperaments and personalities that each dog has. I also believe in being respectful of my client's homes and will take that very seriously. Overall, any specific concerns or lists can be communicated to me and I will make sure to keep an open line of communication.
Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan my work around the pets I'm caring for whenever possible. I intentionally limit my commitments so I can provide each pet with the time, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply keeping their normal routine, I'm happy to adapt my schedule to meet their needs. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable while you're away, and I strive to make their time with me feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Clear communication is important to me, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, loved, and well cared for. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences before you leave. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, favorite walking routes, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs to help your pet feel safe and comfortable. Whether your companion enjoys long walks and outdoor adventures, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply relaxing on the couch, I tailor my care to what makes them happiest. I believe consistency and patience help pets feel secure while their family is away.

“Raul has been so good with my dog Willow. I was worried she would have too much energy but he handles her perfectly. I never worry when she's with him. Willow looks forward to her walks each time!”

“Great walker! Christopher was communicative and on time. He was excellent with our energetic puppy with some leash pulling issues. He followed instructions and gave the report that all went well! He’s confident with dogs, especially if they need some training reinforcement. Would totally work with him again!”

About: Hi, I’m Joe — a lifelong dog lover who treats every pup like my own… right down to the love, the cuddles, and the occasional meatball. I’m home all day, so your dog gets constant attention, companionship, and plenty of affection. My home is relaxed and dog-friendly, with a big, fully fenced yard for safe play, sniffing adventures, and stretching their legs. Inside, pups can lounge wherever they feel comfortable — the couch, their bed, or right next to us. At night, everyone’s welcome in the bedroom, whether they prefer their own spot or decide mine looks more comfortable. (It usually does.) Being home all day means your dog gets frequent potty breaks, a calm routine, and tons of quality time. I send regular photo updates so you can see exactly how well your pup is settling in. Along with boarding, I also offer drop-in visits, in-home sitting, and dog walking, giving you flexible and reliable care options. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely love, spoil, and treat your dog like family — with all the comfort and maybe a meatball or two — I’d be honored to welcome them. I am home full-time, allowing me to provide constant supervision and care. Pet care seamlessly fits into my routine through regular walks, attention, and companionship. In my home, dogs enjoy a large fenced yard, supervised play, and full comfort—allowed on furniture, loved like family, and welcome to sleep beside us.

“Not only is Peter beyond personable and caring, but it’s clear how much he loves dogs and how good he is with them. Super communicative and sent me updates and photos throughout my trip. Highly recommend!!”

“Huda was wonderful. I can tell she really loved my dog and was able to work with him as he can be anxious on walks. He came home happy and I could tell he was comfortable. Huda really seems to have a way with dogs, she gets them. She’s also a great communicator and kind person. Thank you Huda, we are so happy to have found you!”

“Kamila was amazing with our 4 month old GSD puppy! I knew it was going to be a good fit from the moment we did our meet and greet. Buffy immediately took a liking to her and was already feeling at home when we went inside her place. :D She gave us the option to bring Buffy to work with her and she had the best day hanging out and playing with other dogs. At the end of the day she texted to ask if it was okay to give Buffy a bath because of her full day of puppy play and I of course had no objection to that lol. I really appreciate her thoughtfulness and care though in making sure it was okay and also she wanted to make sure Buffy wasn't allergic to shampoo. I didn't even have to ask her to send me updates, she was just on it throughout the day. She is very responsive with texts and calls too. She took Buffy to work with her again on the second day and once again had a full day of fun. When we got home Buffy crated herself and fell asleep for the evening - it was 7pm! She said Buffy is welcome back so we will definitely be returning! Thank you so much, Kamila!”

“Justine was a fantastic sitter. Our dog had a wonderful time with Justine and her family. We loved the frequent updates with pictures and videos, and Justine asked great questions ahead of her stay to ensure she knew our dog and her quirks. We will definitely book with Justine again and highly recommend her.”

“Allen and his family did a great job taking care of my dog for our long vacation. They make drop-off easy and communicate well and send lots of fun pics and videos. She has stayed with Allen before, and is happy to see the family when I bring her again. I feel confident that she will be safe and have a good time there.”

“Kendra was wonderful with my pit/lab mix Apollo! Her yard is huge and great for dogs, Kendra was super sweet and accommodating with Apollo, and she sent nice updates on how he was doing :)”

“First time using jeanette as a sitter and was not disappointed. I had to cancel and book a visit, both last minute and she was very accommodating. Will be booking her again next time I travel. Thank you jeanette and family!”

“Our Shepherd/Husky loved staying with Allora and her family. He loved being able to play with their dog Boba, chasing each other around in their large outdoor backyard. Allora was very attentive and sent pictures every day, keeping us up to date with all the activities they were up to, which included walks every day, and being involved in family activities. I will definitely choose to leave him with Allora in the future too.”

About: I have spent my entire life with at least one dog in the household. I currently own two of my own that are ready to welcome slumber pawty guests! I have used Rover for years so I know what I like in a sitter, and plan to extend those same qualities and perks to our guests. My partner Ryan also works from home most days, and has also owned and cared for dogs and cats over the years. We both wake up early and let the pups out supervised in the fenced yard before breakfast. While the yard is fenced, we do keep a constant eye on them as they roam from the house to the yard throughout the day. Afternoon naps on the couch are typical. We usually go on early evening walks around the neighborhood if your pup has an exercise routine you’d like them to stick to. If they are good in public we are happy to take them on hikes. Our yard is fully fenced, and we have an additional fenced side yard with fake turf for when it’s raining and the pups don’t want to go outside.

I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I'll make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you're away. I'Il do my best to accommodate your schedule and keep your dog's routine as consistent as possible. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be difficult, so my goal is to make you and your pup feel completely at ease. My hope is that your dog feels right at home and that you have complete peace of mind while you're away.
“Excellent caregiver. Malia is passionate and compassionate. Our dog, Bart, was with her for a week and Malia cared for and comforted him the whole time. Received daily updates and lots of fun pictures. Will go back to Malia for sure. Recommend highly!”
