About: Hi! I’m one of those people who can’t walk past a dog without saying hi. If I see a dog while I’m out, I’m probably the person asking, “Can I pet your dog?” My child is exactly the same way! We’re both naturally drawn to dogs and genuinely enjoy having them around. Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Three of my own dogs were with me for 16, 16, and 18 years, and they truly became members of the family. I understand how much our dogs mean to us and how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for them when we can’t be there. Our current dog, Pancake, is a rescue and a small, friendly girl who enjoys having company. She’s an important part of our family and will be your pup’s little host during their stay! I also volunteered at two animal shelters, where I spent time caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I am patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s individual temperament. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. My home is a good fit for dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. Because I have a child at home 50% of the time, your dog must be comfortable and safe around children. About: I’ve cared for pets for the past 17 years with a focus on puppy training and development including potty training and behavioral training to socialize pups. I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, so I am available to provide the love, care, and attention for your pup on a daily basis. “Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. About: Hi there! Welcome to my page! I moved to the Bay Area 5 years ago from Sacramento & I currently live in the East Bay. I had a male Persian cat named Blue and a female chihuahua named Cheese who recently passed away. I adopted a doodle 6 years ago named Honey who is such a joy! Growing up I had a German Shepherd, Doberman, Beagle, Mini American Eskimo & cats so I’ve been around a lot of different dogs & cats. About: I have had cats growing up and they lived long healthy lives— almost 20 years old! They were my babies and slept with me every night. 6 years ago, my husband and I adopted Luke (bull terrier) and he is the sweetest most beautiful soul. He would never hurt a fly and has been an angel with our almost 3 year old son. Luke is apart of our family and has severe allergies that we take great care of. I promise to take just as much care of your babies as I do my own! I am a stay at home mom at the moment, but also am an active volunteer at the Martinez animal shelter! My schedule changes every week, but I would love to accommodate as best I can! I treat my pets like family because they are!! Your pet will be no different. If they need snuggles or treats, I’m your gal! I can also give them space if they need it and am happy to pick up their favorite toy and play with them. About: I have spent my entire life with at least one dog in the household. I currently own two of my own that are ready to welcome slumber pawty guests! I have used Rover for years so I know what I like in a sitter, and plan to extend those same qualities and perks to our guests. We both wake up early and let the pups out supervised in the fenced yard before breakfast.
