Our frenchie spent an exciting day with Vanson’s dogs. He loves to run around and that’s exactly what he did. Vanson sent photos and a video of Bentley having fun. This was Bentley’s first stay with Vanson and it was a success.

We had a great experience with Stefanie! She was extremely professional, responsive, and clearly very experienced with dogs. Our Shiba Inu, Arashi, can be a challenging breed, but she handled him with ease and confidence, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Her home is very well set up for dog care, whether for daytime stays or overnight boarding. Everything felt safe, organized, and thoughtful. We really appreciated her communication throughout and would absolutely trust her with Arashi again. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love Connie, but more importantly, so does our little pups. Every time Connie comes by for a walk or to pick him up, he is so excited to see her. That's because Connie is amazing, loving and caring. Connie has come by and walked Bailey, he's gone to her house for daycare and overnight stays. She's always sweet and excited to see Bailey which makes us extremely happy because we know she cares for Bailey as much as we do. The best part is every time Bailey comes home from day care he's so exhausted because he's had so much fun playing at her house. Finding Connie to watch with Bailey was one of the easiest and best decisions we made!

Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!

Darren and his family welcomed us with warmth and kindness. We are nervous first time dog owners and were unsure how this new experience would go. Everything was clean and safe. Our pup immediately felt at home with Darren and his family. Darren was thoughtful, diligent, and practical when we talked about our dog's care needs. Our pup enjoyed walks, and got her regular meals and naps. When we picked her up, she was playing and happy. Her mood was great the rest of the night. We look forward to many more doggy daycare days with Darren and his family!

About: Hello! I’m a lifelong dog lover and the proud owner of a 10-year-old Shih Tzu–Pomeranian mix which lived with us since he was 2-month-old. So I am experienced with dogs at all ages. I’ve cared for many smalls to medium size dogs over the years and understand their routines, personalities, and needs. I have a clean, well-kept and very large, fenced yard and offer a calm, clean, and safe home with plenty of attention and gentle play. I enjoy hosting small to medium-sized dogs and treat every pup like part of the family. What is my drive? I host dogs, because I want a companion for my doggy, I enjoy spending time with dogs, and I am home every day of the week. I am available for boarding seven days a week and maintain a flexible schedule. I am home most of the day, allowing me to provide consistent supervision, care, and attention. I can often accommodate bookings on short notice and work with your schedule to ensure a smooth drop-off and pick-up experience. I provide a safe, clean, and calm home environment for all dogs. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can run and play freely, along with a doggy door for easy outdoor access when appropriate. I only have one small, friendly dog at home, and I carefully introduce pets to ensure comfort and compatibility. Your dog will be supervised, cared for attentively, and treated like part of the family.

During our weekend visit to Sun River, Nikki and her husband watched my very anxious Aussiedoodle for the day while we took kids to an event that was not suitable for dogs. They took wonderful care of her (and me :-), I must add) and I will not hesitate to contact her on our next visit to the area. Thank you, Nikki!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Glen Frazer

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 4,685 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Glen Frazer. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Glen Frazer commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 4,685 sitters in Glen Frazer, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
